Terrible service. We pulled up at 5:30am and we were the ONLY car. The girl asked what we wanted but as soon as my fiance asked for a few minutes so I could look through the menu she just turned around without saying a thing and proceeded to ignore us sitting at the window when we were ready. This might be my favorite place on the planet. Seriously. I loved Dutch Bros Coffee. I found Dutch Bros Coffee on Yelp while in Astoria. For me I love all things Dutch so I was immediately intrigued basically because of the name. Dutch Bros Coffee is a drive up coffee shop/cart. The selection is huge, a little overwhelming if you're new to the brand. The line takes a minute so it gives you time to review everything. While I was waiting in the car I got a knock on my window. An employee came up to my window to take my order so it would be ready when I pulled up. I told him that it was my first time and how I picked out online while I was driving through. He offered suggestions, thanked me for coming, and helped me place my order. Then he said I didn't have to pay. Now I hope I'm not getting him in trouble but based on the reviews it seems like kindness is something this place thrives on. He said the first drink was on the house for me to try and sent me on my way. I drove to the window and talked to another really nice guy who asked me about my visit while we waited for my blended coffee with whipped cream to be made. And let me tell you, this was the best thing I've ever had. Not just because I didn't pay for it, but because it was delicious. From the coffee to the whip, I didn't want it to end. I absolutely loved this place. I will be checking for Dutch Bros Coffee any time I'm out west. I'm addicted and a fan. read more

First time at a DB. I don't know what happened. All I wanted was English Black Breakfast tea. Should be simple. I asked twice. She ran off the teas. Herb:no, .... Bergmont;not quite. Etc. Then she handed it off to the coworker and went away to do something else and either the coworker got it wrong or they don't have black tea but some approximation. it was awful. With the milk in it, It tasted like an cherry cream sickle. Or the taste you get coming out of a perfumey bathroom. And the tea bags had no indication what it was. This is quite honestly the slowest Dutch bros I have ever been to. There were two cars ahead of me and two on the other side with 5 people working. Someone came outside to get my order when the cars in front were not budging and my order was still not waiting for me when I got to the window. That said my half sweet iced mocha tasted good and my daughter enjoyed her salted caramel cookie and the people were friendly. But the cars in front of me only got one drink so I do not get what was going on. Most Dutch bros are hella fast! read more

The staff is so sweet and kind. We are from Southern California and this was our first experience with Dutch bros. The staff was super kind and SO helpful. Not only did they make our first time here super amazing, they gave us our drinks for free after we told them it was our first time. The drink that was recommended was our baristas favorite and it was absolutely delicious!!! Worked at Starbucks as a supervisor for 4 years and let me just say, Starbucks has nothing on Dutch bros. I love Dutch Bros drinks and am so glad they finally opened up locations in WA. However, this is the location I ALWAYS stop at whenever I'm passing through Astoria on my way to Seaside. The service here is almost always average, relatively slow and I am constantly asked to repeat my order. Today, I had a really unpleasant experience because the worker had me repeat my order a couple times and she even said it back to me, didn't know how to make my drink and ended up giving us the wrong drinks anyway. Next time, I may try stopping at a different location. On another note, Dutch Bros drinks are a great price and they have a wide variety of drinks and flavors. I was overwhelmed with all my choices and am definitely looking forward to trying different drinks on the menu. I would recommend looking up the drink menu on your phone beforehand or while you're waiting in line because they didn't provide a full menu at the drive-thru stand. read more

I never really tried their coffee before the Astoria store opened, and honestly, it is very good: but I drink mochas so good ones are easy to find. It's the SERVICE that keeps me coming back! Their owner(s) seem very sweet, their manager (I think she is anyway) is an absolute doll! I actually am excited when I see her and order :) also, they have a younger man (barely 21) who is a great pick me up in the mornings; he is hilarious, good At his job, and honestly picture him with his own business of some kind someday. I have never lived near a Dutch Bros, but have enjoyed them several times when traveling. I was excited to see one had opened up in Astoria so we made a visit today. We suspect our server was high. We smelled marijuana and he was vaguely creepy and way out there. The loud music was really annoying. And whatever, that's all fine as long as I get an amazing drink, but I didn't. He left out flavors and I got something really bland. I've had this drink at other locations and it didn't taste like that. My husband was pleased with his drink, so I'll give them two stars instead of one. My husband said he would give them three stars. read more

I love Dutch Bros! I'd never had their coffee until this location opened up. First time I came to the drive-up, the kid behind the counter was super helpful, recommended a drink, and said if I didn't like it, he'd make me one that I chose, and not a single penny would come out of my pocket. Well the drink was delicious, and I was hooked. Mostly because I hate their other chain competitor. The service is always very friendly, even sometimes overly so, but despite those overly-caffeinated, uber-perky employees, the rest seem genuine and actually remember me and my drink order. Crazy thing is, I don't go but maybe twice a month! I've never had a problem getting soy, coconut, or almond milk vs dairy milk in my drinks. Their competitor however...ugh. I will quite literally go out of my way to a Dutch Bros even if their competitor is directly across the street from me. Case in point - recently got semi-lost looking for a Dutch Bros off of MLK in Portland this last weekend, vs stopping at the-place-that-shall-not-be-named, that was literally a block away from where we were staying. read more
