I decided to take my daughters here for a sweet treat. I'd seen a Tik Tok of a drink I wanted to try and it seemed like a great day to give it a try. Every time I go to Dutch Bros I'm overwhelmed. It's something about having too many options and them not being on display for you to see. I know there is the app and it has the whole menu but I don't ever look there first. The servers are always so nice and helpful though. Usually they are the ones to help me figure out what to get. Well my drink was delicious! I got the Dutch H20 with pumps of peach, watermelon, strawberry and coconut with a splash of coconut milk on top. One of my daughters got the blended golden eagle with the strawberry soft top and she absolutely loved it. While the other got the cotton candy shake and hated it. She said she didn't like the taste of it and refused to even finish it. I will come back and try something else although I have no idea what it'll be. Hot day in Bakersfield, what better time to stop in for a refreshing beverage. My wife couldn't wait to try one of the H2O drinks she's heard so much about, while I opted for the Strawberry Colada Red Bull mix. Very long line as it often is, but it also moved fairly quick. The young lady that took our order was great! Despite it being in the middle of the day (very hot), surrounded by hot running vehicles, and a long line of impatient customers she remained poised. unfortunately this location is extra slow, and the staff seems very distracted or disorganized with each other. Every time of day. I've waited 30 minutes in a short line for one coffee that was watered down and very heavy on the milk. I would much rather support a local small business cafe at this point, i keep getting disappointed. The California Ave. Dutch bros is well equipped for large crowds and pressure, but this one is run by teenagers who are gossiping while making one coffee per 10 minutes, and incorrectly 8/10 times. read more

First timer here! Was on the way to visit family in Sacramento and was in dire need of coffee for the dang 6hr drive from where I'm from. Okay, I had to come update this because recently I have been loving matcha. But out of the 5 times I've ordered a matcha lemonade I have gotten a matcha latte 4 of those times...with the exception of one time my drink being completely pink lemonade....with a dash of matcha. I've been seeing a lot of turnover at this store and it is a little frustrating to have the drink wrong almost every time. My soul can't bear asking workers to make it again and hold up the line. The drive thru line is disorganized. There's no point in having two lines if you're just going to be skipped anyway. Also, forget about skipping the line by ordering ahead. They don't have a mobile order option like their competitor does. Not sure what the hubbub is about this place except that it's a new thing in town and they play tracks like the Brix Lounge all day long. If you're in a hurry to get to work, just expect to get counseled by your supervisor. You're going to be at least an hour late. I gave an extra star because the girl who actually helped me was super sweet and very personable. However, I give my loyalty to Starbucks.
