I stood there for approximately 5-7 minutes without being acknowledged, greeted, or even told that someone would be with me shortly. Finally, I said, "Excuse me, is this still the line to order?" The employee, whose name I believe was Emil (or Amil), very coldly responded, "Yeah, but as you can see, I'm busy," while he was working with one of the coffee machines. I told him that he could have simply said, "Good morning," or acknowledged me. Instead, he shrugged his shoulders and showed no concern whatsoever about how I had been treated. As a woman of color in an environment where everyone else appeared to be white, I found the experience extremely uncomfortable and felt unwelcome. I cannot speak to his intentions, but the way I was treated made me question whether I was being treated differently because of my race. It would have taken two seconds to say, "Good morning, we'll be right with you." Instead, I was ignored for several minutes and then spoken to in a dismissive and unapologetic manner. Customer service and basic courtesy should apply to everyone. Unfortunately, this was a very unpleasant first experience, and I will not be returning.

Came to redeem my free coffee with my stamp card and they upgraded me to a large. I know it was free and didn't cost any extra but it was nice that they upgraded me when they really didn't have to. I come here before work a lot and I've NEVER had a bad experience with them. They are always so friendly and inviting it makes me want to come back just for the atmosphere! :) Even thought this has nothing to do with their service I really must say how rude it is when people block the street to get in line! This is definitely my favorite Dutch Bros location in Chico. They are open 24hrs and have by far the BEST costumer service I've ever experienced. They have fantastic coffee and if you're not sure what to get you can always ask for a surprise and I guarantee you will not be disappointed. The lines tend to get REALLY long at rush hours (the longest I've waited was a little over 15 mins.) but if they have even three or four cars on each side they'll send out employees to take orders and speed up the lines. read more

This coffee stop is definitely on my top 2 places to go. The upbeat attitudes of all the workers are definitely a reason to check it out! Even better, I am really indecisive so every time I stop by I tell them that I'm vegan (can't have dairy products) and let them make me something delicious! They're the only place that can think on their feet quick enough and produce the best results. No complaints, just praises on this amazing business in this location! read more

Shout out to the girls working at 4:30am on 1/11 for taking care of me. I was on my way to get coffee before work and had accidentally hit a cat right before pulling in. I thought this Dutch Bros location deserved at least one review because going there is always a pleasant experience for me. I go there often because it's the most convenient coffee place to stop at on my way to work. Even though it isn't even 7 am when I go there, all of the employees are energetic and upbeat. The service is fast and their drinks are tasty. I leave a tip whenever I can and it's well deserved. read more

12/26/2017 The girl working at the window had a horrible attitude to say the least. I will also say very unsanitary as well. After touching money and rubbing her face... She then puts melted whipped cream on a straw. She then grabbed the straw pulled the whipped cream off and used another can over the same straw. No hand washing or new straw? Then back to the rude attitude. I'd recommend avoiding this location. read more

I love going here. The coffee is always so delicious and they are surprisingly speedy at getting people through. So there's a reason this place has a rush of cars every day. Starbucks has nothing on this place, who I can confidently say has the best White Mocha I've ever consumed. If I can't have Dutch Bros, any other coffee place is only second best. read more

Don't know the guy's name but me and some friends came by and he was working and my friend had an ukulele and serenaded the Dutch bros worker, and he just say there and listened to the entire song. It was pretty great. Everyone is always super friendly there. Great place for coffee. Tastes better than that Starbucks crap lol read more

Love Dutch Brothers! They are so nice and remember us and sometimes have our drinks already made for us when we pull up to the window. This goes for both stores on the north end of town. They have young people working there that can make money while going to college. read more

I often go before work, sometimes after. I love to get a Mocha Freeze. The teas they offer are good too. I should probably explore their menu offerings a little more. Anyway, my drink of choice is the Mocha Freeze. The service here is typically fast and the workers are fine and talkative [in a good way]. I don't have [nor have I ever had] a problem with them. No attitudes or anything like that. I can't speak much on the ambiance. You go through the drive-thru area, someone comes up to your car and asks you what you want and then you drive up to the window of the stand and get it. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because sometimes the workers are a little pushy on tips. I understand. YOU work hard, so do I. The drinks themselves can be pricey as it is and if I don't want to give a tip, that should be okay. If you're not so pushy, I might actually be willing to tip.
