Not horrible but forgetful. Went there for 2 drinks and 3 lemon muffins. Girl was chatty. Got our drinks. Charged us the. Wanted to send us away. We reminded her of the lemon muffins and we had to be charged all over again because she forgot. Guess it isn't huge deal except for customer service in keeping it quick. Not happy. I just started working in Chico and I discovered Dutch Bros through my co-workers. I love it! Great coffee and specialty drinks, but the best part is the service. Everybody is helpful, sweet and chipper (even at 6am)! I also love that it's a drive-thru because the Starbucks on Cohasset is NOT. I will definitely be making regular visits here. By far the best drive thru coffee shop I have ever been to. Yesterday (08/30) was my first time visiting a Dutch Bros. I always hear great things about them and had to give them a try, I'm glad I did! The service was so friendly and so energetic. We got 4 drinks for $12! The coffee was amazing!!! So last, I became a true dutch bro customer for life. I'm in the drive through and Antonio comes to the window and is chatting with me like normal, asking fun questions about vacation destinations and I tell him about where I'm going on my honeymoon. While he is making my dribk I ask about the hydro flask but realize I couldn't afford it this time. After I'm given my drinks he tells me he is going to pay for half of my flask as a gift to me. I am just shocked. I truly can't believe how amazing he was. I was willing to just pay for it because I thought maybe he was doing it for commission but I find out they don't get commission and he was just being an amazing person. Dutch Bros. is an amazing company, and this is easily my favorite location. They are the only 24 hour Dutch Bros in Chico, they have 2 drive-thru windows and a walk-up, and they're fast. Every location in town is fantastic and I love going to all three, but the Cohasset location stands out. The workers are friendly and remember the regulars, and the product never disappoints. I Dislike the loud rap music a ton, honestly it makes me not want to drive threw, the music is so damn loud that the girls inside Are screaming in your face over the music and they can barley hear you I had to repeat my order 3 times it was so loud it woke my two year old who was sleeping. I love love coming to this particular one in this location! Actually, all of their coffee chain stores are good! The employees are always smiling and always in a happy mood. It definitely lifts me up especially if I was already having a rough morning! There isn't one close to where I live (San Juan Bautista), so I make sure that I hit it every time I am in chico visiting families. Everything that I had so far from their menu has been awesome!!! Drive through and have the most upbeat, generous, and happy baristas make you a cup of coffee that you are sure to enjoy. Their menu has many great options no matter what you are in the mood for. Their iced almond milk vanilla lattè is my favorite. They have very reasonable prices on their reusable cups as well. I swear they use crack or something in their drinks. I have never been an everyday coffee person but for some reason if I don't have a kicker I get a headache. I like the dual drive up windows/entrances at this Dutch Bros. The coffee is standard high-quality DB that you should get at any location. I also love that it's now open 24hrs which is great for people working late/graveyard or for studying students during midterms and finals! Maybe they should have made the Esplanade location open 24hrs though since it's closer to campus and therefore might be more enticing to students. The difference in drive time is only about a minute though so it's not bad. DUTCH ARMY! read more

Ok so I take no issue with the drinks. However the music is so incredibly loud they are screaming in your face. Then I am not sure if they are trained to be insanely friendly or what? I realize that sounds weird but I don't want someone screaming "what are you doing today" in my face at 8am. Honestly they go from being friendly to way too personal. My dog died in the morning and later that afternoon I went there for a cup of coffee, all red faced. Common sense would be you don't ask this person what they did today... but no they just have to ask. I don't want to have to answer your questions. Just say hello. Even say "how are you doing today"? but sit in the window and specifically ask what I am doing ? too much people. read more

Those kids are always 5 stars so the 4 stars is not representative of service, product or price. Theyre all amazing. However, i just went by the 24hr shop at 430am when i got off work. I was pulling in and where, during the day, someone stands to take car orders, there was a man. It was dark and i couldn't see him well. I started to stop to give him my order but i realized there are never people outside the building at that time. This person appeared 25ish and the way they hung back in the dark made me uncomfortable. Inside were 2 teen girls. I told them but from inside, looking out into the dark parking lot, they couldn't see him. When i left, i called the police just to request they go by and check on things. The building and immediate exterior are well lit but the parking lot needs much more light. It should be lit up if you're going to have young people there through out the night. Love this location and it's customers. I got a blended 911 for only $3, probably a night time promotion but I work graveyard so thats good. The person in front of me didn't want there infused red bull drink so they gave it to me. Score. I was only waiting about two mins behind the car in front of me before someone came out and took my order. Went to the walk up window as two cars were pulling into the window, ended up having to wait for the two cars to be helped before my order was even taken, on top of that, my tea that was supposed to have honey for my obviously lost voice(I sound like I just woke up after smoking 5 packs in one go) had no honey. :( At least the blonde girl helping me was nice, and my ice water didn't taste like tap... #disappointed read more

At first I was skeptical about this place because the line seemed quite long & I couldn't see the menu very well. But this Dutch bros location far exceeded my expectations. Not only did the line move quickly, the service was incredible! The girl who took my order (her name was Gianna I believe) recommended an awesome drink that was her favorite (the cookie) and I loved it! Worst Dutch bros I've ever been to. They give me a regular mocha every time when I order a white mocha. And today I decided to order something very common off their secrete menu that I've ordered at probably 6 other Dutch bros with no problems and the 4 people working had no idea what I was talking about and then ended up making me the worst Dutch bros drink I've ever had with a white Russian that tasted like straight milk. I've gone to this location multiple times because it's by my house and it's horrible every time. This was the last time. They need some serious training over there. read more

I go to Dutch Bros daily but this location in going down hill. Too many new people most have no personality whatsoever or act like its an inconvenience to even be working. I am really sick of taking my first drink and it being the syrup because they changed how they make the drinks and put the syrup in first and can't mix it enough. Wait is getting to be like starbucks, got my drink today and it sat there so long for one car in front of me, the whipped cream was over half melted. I have let upper management know and they say we will take a talk with employees. Oh and now they have changed their marketing to be "BETTER SPECIALS" yes I shouldn't complain of getting specials but they are becoming more of a corporation and less the dutch bros we all know and love. read more

It's taken me a while since my visit to write this, but 9 months later and I still remember how wonderful of an experience my first visit here was. I was in Chico for my mom's 60th birthday, touring the Sierra Nevada plant and just having a fun time. Next morning we got up and went to this Dutch Bros, they don't have them where I live so thought I'd give it a try. The staff was super friendly, outgoing, they were having fun at 7am and you could tell they loved their jobs. I am a retail multi-unit manager, who over sees 9 locations and has a staff of 100 team members. Customer service is important to me. I would have hired everyone working here in a second. I ordered coffee and breakfast for 4, and the manager asked if we had ever been here before. When I said no, first time, and asked what the best coffee's were, he comped our entire order, said he would love for us to try the best coffee in town on him, and hoped we would be back!! Amazing service that you rarely find anywhere else. Needless to say, I visit this location anytime I am in Chico on business, which is usually once a month or so, and make sure I pay it forward.
