My partner and I loveeeeed acai bowls on the west coast so we've tried to copy a favorite bowl of ours. We ordered the pura vida bowl and added some toppings. Ha! But, everything sounded really good so that was tough. I ultimately went with the Booster Smoothie. It had just the right amount of sweetness but yet had an earthy and nutty note paired with the fruit. I quite enjoyed it. It took longer than expected to get my order, however. I'm also impressed by the painting on the walls. I'll definitely be back and glad it's an option near Belterra.

Another surprise is how much sugar is packed into something marketed as a healthy option. Instead of tasting like fruit and real ingredients, many of the drinks feel closer to a dessert disguised as a wellness choice. The food follows the same pattern -- convenient, but not something I would describe as fresh or nutritious.
