running errands and dutch bros was nearby , which was perfect bc it was time for my afternoon iced coffee! so ofc jumped in the drive thru ordered the werewolf - soft top - picture perfect service is always great , friendly and efficient got a pup cup for apollo as well. we got our order pretty quick which is appreciated dutch bros has been expanding = no more LONG lines parking: huge lot no issues with parking

Aftershock blended.... Great kick start

Dutch Bros. Rebel Energy are amazing, dog Sheila loves and getting her pupcup. The ordering and amazingly fast. The morning vibe was cool, very relaxed. Will definitely be back for more caffeine!!

Birthday drink! :) It's Dutch Bros, so the quality is consistent - tasty drinks, hand made, which takes a bit but it's worth the wait. The ambiance is that of a Dutch Bros hut. A shaded waiting area outside the front window - no seating, this is a grab and go affair, and a massive two lane drive thru with in-person order takers making the show go. This place is hopping, so plan accordingly or plan to wait a bit. ;)

Golden Eagle
Mari B.

The drive thru line was a bit ridiculous tbh. What is the big hype? I ordered the golden eagle medium size it was pretty huge. It is made with espresso, half and half, caramel and vanilla syrup. Now we ordered that right and did we get that? No!! We got it with no whip cream on top & well that's boring! Ambiance was like sort of a young crowd lots of youngsters working but if their besties are there oh you best bet they will be tapping away. Service was informative the girl informs me that their co founder passed away from asl so they are basically doing a thing where every time you spend $1 at Dutch bros it goes back to the asl foundation. There's lots of parking and I can't believe they close at 11pm on Fridays ans Saturday! I downloaded the Dutch bros app and signed up for the rewards. You earn points when you spend, you get a free birthday drink & best of all you get a FREE drink when you sign up!

Mobile order, like how they cover the spout
Vincent N.

Drive thru was crowded on a Sunday afternoon, waited about 20 mins (even with mobile order) I recommend doing pick up window (but it was closed on the app for some reason). I do like that they have a ton of flavors and protein milk, but overall the taste was nothing to write home about, comparable to Dunkin Donuts. Regular brewed coffee with flavored syrup and creamer. Went with the Annihilator with protein milk. Wasn't decent,'probably not something I would wait 20 mins for, especially with so many good coffee shops in OC.

Dutch Bros has been popping up more in SoCal. This is the closest location to me. I only visit supply chain coffee shops on occasions. Mainly when they offer coupons/promotions. Parking: There's a large parking lot surrounding this location. Finding a spot can be easy because their drive-thru is always packed. Ambiance/Environment: Just like any other Dutch Bros location, it is only a quick grab-n-go. There is no indoor or outdoor seats. They have a drive-thru that is constantly packed, even during night time. They also have a window where you can walk up and order. Service: Every worker I've encountered is nice and knowledgable about the menu. They were able to answer every question I had and even offer recommendations. Despite it being busy, throughput is quick. Drinks: The menu can be overwhelming and may seem repetitive. My go-to is their most popular Golden Eagle. It's decently sweet, and their espressos are good. Unlike other supply chain coffee shops, they actually make their espresso shots by hand. Majority of their drinks are overly sweet. I'd suggest an extra shot. I've never tried their rebel drinks or energizers. I love trying their seasonal coffee. They offer new drinks for almost every holiday. Pricing: They offer three different sizes. Prices are as expected from a supply chain. Highly recommend downloading their rewards app for points, coupons, exclusive offers, and birthday treats.

holiday cookie iced

Crowded parking lot in general but the drive through is usually pretty quick and organized. Posting this review pretty late but I went around December and am a big fan of the holiday drinks. Holiday cookie with soft top, iced: 4/5 pretty good but just a little too sweet for me Hazelnut truffle hot: 5/5 this was the perfect hot drink to get on a cold day

" 9-1-1 blended freeze " but really it was half foam and half cold liquid
Alexis V.

Ordered a 911 blended freeze thorough the drive thru with about 30 mins til closing and as i took the first sip it tasted like pure foam, super watery with it just cold (not at all ice blended), just super foamed up milk with a hint of coffee. Pulled over to park and walked up to the window to ask if i could get a remake and the girl told me it will come out the same regardless because of the temperature(not really explaining what that meant), making it seem like she didn't want to try and remake it since they were 25 minutes now away from closing. The 911 blended freeze is the only drink I get at Dutch bros and they are consistently good but it's never been frothy foamy like the one i got so it's such an weird response to get from an employee that didn't seem to want to try to remake the drink into a blended freeze. By the time i got the 'remade' drink it was still watery foamy and i noticed that it was now just have liquid and half foam, still not at all 'frozen' but just barely cold. This was basically money wasted which was so upsetting because I usually never ask for remakes and the response from the barista cashier was just strange, couldn't even enjoy the drink at all. :/

Line for mobile vs walk up order -- sometimes it feels the wait regardless using the app or not are the same.
Jenny C.

This will be a short review of Dutch Bros, as I generally prefer supporting non-chain establishments. The Garden Grove Dutch Bros location is always busy, I still don't quite understand the hype - - but here I am trying it at a fourth location! Hahaha Like the other locations, the crowds are consistently (coming) and the drive-thru lines are long, so I usually opt for walk-up window pickup instead. I usually have to wait to place my order as unlike other coffee chain, the cashier is also the barista. The drinks tend to be more sugary than coffee-so that's what I don't like. Service is consistent, but one thing I don't like is that they don't offer napkins--you have to ask, and even then you're given paper towels. Weird.

Golden Eagle medium. $6.75. Served by Vicky!
Alvin H.

I've been to many coffee places and usually, the hole-in-the-wall mom and pop coffee shops have great customer service. It is rare that a chain is so personable. However, ever since Dutch Bros Coffee opened in Westminster in California, I have been amazed. Sauntering across the plaza on a cold December morning on the 16th of December, I was greeted by VICKY. To my disappointment, at walk up window, Vicky politely told me that it is unfortunate that they ran out of Egg Nog Latte. However, to let her know when I'm ready. I decided to order the Golden Eagle at 6.75 a cup, iced medium. Vicky, who was helping at the other side of the drive-thru, insisted on walking all the way over to the walk-up window to take my order. She gladly took my order with a smile, making sure I understood everything. She also told me that tipping was optional and didn't compel me at all at the end of checkout, which I really appreciated. I hate it when stores make you feel weird when you're at the tipping screen. Let me tell you, this drink was the best I've ever had. You have to mix it up first because most of the caramel syrup settles at the bottom, lest you a get a straw full of caramel syrup. However, once mixed, it is PERFECTLY SWEET in that it is not TOO SWEET. It is an awesome drink that is even better than most chains. I understand that it is a bit pricey but it's worth every penny. Heck, I drove from Huntington Beach just for this in Garden Grove. When Vicky handed me my drink, she handed it with a warm smile. She even called out my name. I really appreciate the warm, charismatic nature as she displayed excellent customer service, holding warm, genuine eye contact throughout. She is someone who should be recognized for her outstanding customer service, serving as a model for others. I will definitely come to this location again for such great service. This place surely is deserving of 5 Yelp stars!

Holiday hazelnut truffle hot mocha! So yummy!!
Anna T.

Tried Dutch bros many many times but never have I tried it as a hot drink! This location is so close to me now so I was able to try their holiday hot drink. The Holiday Hazelnut Truffle Hot Mocha is delicious! Perfectly hot enough to drink right away without burning your tongue! Excited to try more hot drinks off their holiday menu! I love their ice blended drinks. I think it's better (but also way sweeter) than their iced drinks.

Lala J.

So much to choose from! So far every drink we're tried has been refreshing and delightful... They have their new holiday drinks and matching holiday straws. Super cute .. They do take a while because they always have a line both at the window and drive thru .. but service is great at this location.

Seasonal Drinks
Elizabeth B.

There was a time when I was too scared to try Dutch Bros because I had no idea what to order. Then I saw one of their seasonal drinks on IG that looked too good to pass up -- so I finally gave it a try, and I've been hooked ever since! So far, I've tried the Picture Perfect with coconut flavor, Golden Eagle blended freeze, 9-1-1 blended freeze, and Campin' blended freeze -- all delicious! My daughter's favorite is the Tiger's Blood Lemonade with strawberry popping boba (a total hit!). Every drink we've had has been consistently great. Yes, there's usually a line and a bit of a wait, but the employees are so efficient, friendly, and personable that it's always worth it. Love the energy, love the drinks -- Dutch Bros definitely won me over!

I did not do any research prior to going here, I know menus change and I just wanted to take it all in. When we arrived it wasn't super busy, the place itself was big, bright, and inviting. The lady who took our order was super nice. I even went back in line to order additional items... We tried: 1. Longanisa burrito: This was surprisingly meaty and not all egg like some places. It was juicy and flavorful. 2. Waffle fries: I don't know why I was originally thinking french toast sticks, but this went perfect with the burrito. 3. Salted cream Vietnamese coffee: Perfect pick me up and it tasted freshly brewed like a pour over 4. Classic egg sando: My cousin and I made room for this fluffy goodness. I've always watched people eating egg sandos on social media and I have yet to try one like this. This was a perfect balance of egg salad ans bread. 5. Corn cheese cookie : I figured my cousin would like this, but I was surprised how you could taste the corn cheese in it. It was consistent throughout. 6. Matcha white chocolate cookie: This one was my favorite. Perfect balance of matcha with the sweetness of white chocolate. 7. Strawberries & Cream cookie: I was surprised that this wasn't overly sweet. 8. Walnut Chocolate Cookie: The walnuts gave the cookie a crunch and balanced out the chocolate goodness. Overall, everything we tried was amazing and I can't wait to come back soon and try the other items they have. I highly recommend this place, and suggest coming early.

I'm a sucker for anything with ice cream, so I had to give it a try. It was really good! The coffee itself wasn't overly strong or bitter like traditional Vietnamese coffee, which made it easy to drink. My only complaint is the portion size. It was around $8, and I wish there had been a little more of it. I also couldn't pass up the Corn Cheese Cookie since I'd never eaten one before. It was surprisingly delicious. The corn flavor really came through, and the cheese reminded me of the sweet cream cheese filling you'd find in a cheese Danish. My only complaints was, once again, the size. It disappeared way too quickly. Overall, this is a great spot for unique coffee drinks and tasty pastries. I just wish the portions were a little more generous for the price.

After seeing several positive Yelp reviews, we decided to give this place a try. My husband wasn't a fan of the location because the plaza was extremely crowded, but he did mention that the shop itself had a friendly, trendy atmosphere. The staff greeted him right away, and the drink presentation was impressive. The takeout bag was a nice touch, and we were even gifted eco-friendly gloves from AnEco as part of a sustainability promotion--something we can all appreciate. As for the drinks, my husband ordered the Matcha Cloud Jasmine Milk Tea, and I ordered the Jasmine Oolong Milk Tea, both at 60% sweetness. The sweetness level was spot-on, but we were both hoping for a stronger tea flavor. I'd rate the drinks a solid 3/5. Our total came to $15.46 for two drinks, which is pretty standard these days. Overall, the customer service was excellent, and the drinks were decent. However, we're still undecided about returning, as we don't feel the drinks alone are enough to justify navigating the busy, overcrowded plaza.
