First had some timers; I had family from out of town that had never been to Dutch Bro. so we decided to give this place a shot this pass Sunday. There was only the drive thru available so we waited in line for all of 20mins or more. We noticed that there were high school aged kids who I take it work here as they went in and out of the employee entrance/exit at least a half dozen times, only two wore a mask yet all had on these paper gold crowns and none of them practice social distancing! The gentleman taking the order could have use some type of umbrella or covered area and a small cooler with water or gatorade(yes, I realize it' is a drink store yet dehydration can kick in without realizing it). Despite him being in the direct sun,his service was great! He did not make us fill rushed and was more than willing to answer what few questions we had. We looked at the menu before our visit to keep from holding up the line. The gentleman that provided us our drink gets a GOLD star on providing excellent service! He interacted just enough to make sure you were not sitting in dead silence while waiting and had a warm welcome. Keep up your good work! Drinks: two kids cotton candy, one German chocolate, one chocolate drink, and a aqua-berry. They were all pretty good. Yes I will be back. Forgive me if I have the drink names incorrect. Drinks are great, but when your staff takes 5 minutes and holds up the line to talk to their friends or co workers when they come through the line a little annoying. This happens at all your locations, doesn't help that their is always a long line as usual and then having full on convos. Small talk, give out customers drinks and move it a long! read more

We happened to be going by here and on an impulse decided to stop. It's a tiny place right on the road. They have a drive through and a walk-up window. When we visited there were two young, very enthusiastic people inside. They had several coffees available, as well as some Italian soda. My wife had the coffee, I tried the soda. We were both very happy with our choices. I'd probably give it 3.5 stars if I could, but I can't. And the enthusiastic service has to count for something, so we'll go with four stars. Though this swill tastes better in my opinion. Much like a strip club, you are going to be waiting in an artificially inflated line, that is intended to give passers by the illusion that "this place is packed...it must be great". And while the employees are nice, their demeanor is as artificially inflated as the lines. My husband and I received a coupon in the mail for 2 free beverages. So we decided to put on our walking shoes, and walk down to Dutch Brothers to check it out. When we arrived there was a long line of cars waiting to go through the drive thru, and a long line of people waiting at the walk up window so we took our place in line for the walk up window. I noticed how quickly the line was moving, so that's good. When we got up to the window, we were greeted with a large smile, and a welcome because it was our first time at a Dutch Brothers. I decided on a Strawberry smoothie. My smoothie was made quickly and was oh so yummy! The price was even better :). I stopped in here because I got a coupon for 2 free beverages. This is a stand with an order window and a drive through window. There is no indoor seating. There are a few tables outside. I ordered a black coffee. You can tell a lot about a coffee shop by ordering a black coffee. If the coffee itself is off, all the other beverages made with it will also be off. This was not the case. The coffee has a bold flavor without tasting bitter. Freshly brewed and piping hot, this coffee makes the perfect base for cappuccinos or lattes. Drive-thru was fired up so I decided to use the walk-up window. If it makes them happy and keeps smiles on their faces while they are working, then have at it! Service (5): I had researched the menu to find something before I had arrived (no one wants to stand behind a newbie while they ask a million questions on the menu). I opted for and iced "Dirty Macchiato" off the secret menu I looked up online. It's a Breve with English Toffee and Caramel (quite tasty). The manager walked over from behind the scenes and said, "Is that a Dirty Macchiato? I know my drinks". I thought it was great since he was not in the area when I ordered nor was he standing there when the other barista was making my drink. Food/Beverage (5): For a first time beverage, this was an excellent choice and had great flavor. I'm so glad I chose this drink. Next time I may find another secret drink to try out. Price (5): As with any coffee place, the price was fair and expected. I didn't feel that I had overpaid by any stretch of imagination. They have a frequent flyer card that they stamp; buy 10 get 11th free. Got myself a whole card stamped while the manager danced to J. Cole. I was surprised to see long lines of people and cars as well as the highly positive reviews on Yelp, so I had to try the coffee here. The coffee was espresso-based, which is very different from most coffees in the US (read: drip coffee). I got it iced, which was really great for a hot day in Arizona. Despite being iced, the coffee was strong and flavourful. The cashier was really chatty and made it a point to make conversation with every customer. When the line for drive-thru service got too long, the staff went out into the heat to take orders, which is basically unheard of elsewhere. Kudos to the great service! read more

First time trying Dutch Bros Coffee because we wanted to see what the hype was about...The 2 stars goes for the happy employees and the pistachio bunt, but that's where it ends for me, sad to say. Ordered a hot caramel macchiato and was not good. It was luke warm and milky, not any taste of coffee at all! Not even caramel. I am a coffee drinker so this was a huge disappointment considering how long the lines were all to get watery milk. This place is a bit pricey and may have been worth it if the coffee was good. Atleast I tried. They do not accept cash transactions at all, not even for tips. They do not print receipts either at this time so you have to take a picture of your purchase..... He comes home with it and it was about 2/3 of the way full. My only one this week and I didn't get exactly what I paid for. Its disappointing when that's what you look forward to all week, although this is the second time this has happened. I've been drinking coffee since I was 2 (it actually calmed me down as a toddler), but I can probably count on two hands how many times I actually went out for coffee. I've tried Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, and even hit up a Tim Hortons in Ohio, since I have a few Midwestern and Canadian online friends who talked about it like crazy. So with this place, and other locations as well, I constantly see it busy, whether its the drive thru's or walk up windows. One reason why I don't go out for coffee much, is well, since I drink it everyday, its just much cheaper brewing it yourself at home, but with this place getting so popular, I'd figure I give it a shot. The menu is pretty simple and easy to follow, no fancy names or confusing ways to order. I mean, its coffee. The prices are up there, which for some reason, is normal for coffee shops. It was expected. The first time I went, with my brother, we told them it was our first time and they let us get our first drinks on the house. That's always great customer service right there, it was unexpected and awesome. The drinks were spectacular A future visit, we went back and ordered our drinks. There was some minor glitch in the card reader and the guy gave us our drinks for free for the inconvenience. We even offered to pay for at least one of them, but he kindly refused. These guys are pretty awesome haha. I haven't been here for a visit in quite a few months, like I mentioned earlier in me not going out for coffee often, but I'm sure it hasn't changed much since these shops are always super busy. read more
