We were stuck in the line and couldn't get out.... Turned into half an hour in line! You order at the window and they are still taking their time talking to everyone and the line was 8-10 cars deep. I ordered one drink the hand blended Dragon slayer rebel with soft top. They made the wrong drink! After all that time I wasn't waiting for a redo. This location isn't my favorite. The employees were extra slow today. I know a part of the Dutch brand is to be fun, engaging and friendly. Hello and good afternoon. today is labor day and it was around 1245ish/1pmish that this occurred. a young lady and her partner made a scene at your establishment. she was screaming at the employees at their door and from her car. she had spilled her drink all over herself and car I gathered. she was extremely irate and treated the employees unfairly. I just wanted to note that it wasn't the Dutch brothers employees fault for that situation. This woman made the mess herself and blamed it on the dutch brothers employees. I watched them make it to the street and then back in after they had spilt it. had it been spilt as they gave it to her, I could see that being their fault. But this, this was all the customers fault. I watched it all happen. I can attest to your employees that they treated her fair and just and even gave her napkins as she was still screaming at them. She unnecessarily rude and childish. Throwing a full blown tantrum. Stomping, crying, screaming. I probably could have gone viral had I filmed it, haha. So i hope none of your employees will get reprimanded over this. It truly was not their fault. read more

I had heard a lot of good things about Dutch Bros but had never tried them. I stopped by and was kind of disappointed by the lack of options on the menu. After some deliberation, I ordered a Kicker Cold Brew and it was just okay. It had the hint of Irish cream and the coffee itself was pretty weak. It was on the level of Dunkin Donuts to me (which is low). For its price, I would rather go somewhere else and have more options for drinks. read more

I was on my way back to my hotel but I wasn't feeling well so I stopped here for a Dutch Soda to settle my stomach. My ap wouldn't let me log in; it just kept saying to enter my phone number and it would send a code. None of the three codes that I tried worked and it just kept going in circles. I tried to create a new one to see if the ap would recognize my info, but it started asking for sign up information so I exited out of it. The girl at the window said she could enter my phone number but then told me that it wasn't found in the system. I doubt that's true since I've had this account for over two years. As for the service, the music in the "booth" was absolutely BLARING and at one point the girl asked me to repeat myself. Ridiculous. I asked for a receipt so that I could get my points and that's when she told me that my phone number wasn't registered. Really disappointed that I wasn't able to get my points because I made a special detour to go there. read more

We got chi tea with oat milk, cinnamon was great tasting will get again from our Newport vacation spot for farmers market. Cornelius is our favorite spot up top and then St Helen's Or. is a good making coffee not bitter flavor from not cleaning. And super friendly crews and willing to go out and take orders if it gets busy. We never heard of Dutch Bros Coffee until a week ago when we were driving through the Northwest. We are now HUGE FANS. This location had fantastic service and the drinks were delicious. The coffee is delicious and the price point is AWESOME. We get the cold brew nitro with flavor shots in the largest size possible and it's still cheaper than you could get in the Los Angeles area. The product is super high quality and I love how many sugar free flavor options they have! Dutch Bros, we are fans! read more

When a complaint is made, that doesn't mean the problems should get worse. The volume of the music has gotten louder, and the content of the music has gotten worse with f-bombs. This is going back to the company again, and I'll never go to another Dutch brothers ever. Update: 12/01/20 - This doesn't change my view or how I feel about the situation, as it was beyond inappropriate. Not only did we call the police on the disturbance from the motel, but so did motel management. And with our room being directly across from Dutch brothers, I was able to see employees play "cat & mouse" with the police, turning down the volume as police approached and cranking it back up as soon as the police left, which is why the police were called 4 times in one night. The next morning it started all over again at 4:50am and continued through the morning, including the employees playing "cat & mouse" with the police every time they went by on highway 101, turning down the volume and back up. Do you realize how inappropriate it is to watch a business behaving in such a way? This has had a permanent and lasting affect on how I view Dutch brothers, and it is not a respectable establishment. read more

Great location right off the highway - the only downside is that there's only room for about 3 cars to squeeze into the lane or else you'll be hanging into traffic. I was 3rd in line and a friendly staff person came to my window to take my order so it would be ready by the time I pulled up to the window. Why is the nearest one to us good folks here in Orange Co. way the hell out in Vegas?! Something needs to be done about this like yesterday!!! First off, it's a drive-thru only joint. The location we went to in Newport, OR had two lines and they took our order and texted it to the baristas inside and we didn't wait long. Some locations have outside seating. They almost always have music blasting inside so the workers can keep up the tempo. What I really like about this chain is that they offer a variety of milk substitutes for lactose intolerant folk like my son. He ordered the kids' hot cocoa with almond milk. The barista took it back and gave it the chocolate flavor. My wife had the caramelizer, which is caramel and mocha and I had the Annihilator which is a chocolate macadamia nut. We don't know what the hell is in that stuff, but I think it is WAY better than Starbucks. This coffee didn't smell like Starbucks skunky coffee. We visited 3 Dutch Bros. coffee drive thrus and were hooked after the first one!!! I would love to see one open here in Orange County (NOT in West L.A. since everything cool is over there!!!). First time at Dutch Bros We each ordered a drink. I paid, we left. All good. We were drinking our coffees and touring the coast for a couple of hours. I heard my daughter say from the backseat "Um, are those dentures in my coffee?" she began gagging. What was actually in her drink were the top and bottom set of Invisalign braces. Which, you wouldn't be able to see in a cup of iced coffee, until the coffee is gone and it's sitting in the ice. They're clear so they remain fairly camouflaged. We drove the hour and a half back to Dutch Bros. So that I could let them know what happened and the manager... refunded my 16.80. Very kind. While she did seem disgusted. She didn't know her store number and didn't seem to know who I should contact to lodge a more formal complaint. I'm not sure what should have happened but this doesn't seem quite satisfactory considering that this is a huge health and safety violation, we're fairly fresh out of a pandemic which we couldn't exactly breathe each others air, much less suck on a strangers (or anyone's) invisalign, not that anyone would ever want to. Also, it's just absolutely disgusting and inexcusable. So... all this being said... check your cups folks... you never know what surprises you may find hiding within your coffee. read more

OMG! Nope... Never coming here again! Let me start by saying, I LOVE Dutch drinks! But this experience here at the Newport location is awful! I drove up to this location and there was a line out to the street, which is a little aggravating, but I want behind the car in front of me and waited 45 minutes! The cars in front of me didn't move a inch! I decided that the window would be faster... So, I got out of the line, parked my car and walked up to the window. When I got to the window, the lady at the window didn't take my order till 30 minutes later... I was so tempted to leave, but I didn't due to it was my birthday and I wanted to use my birthday drink and a free drink coupon I had saved up for. Finally, when I got my order taken the lady kept messing up on taking my order. She eventually got it right, and I waited a total of a another 35 minutes for my two drinks. When I got my second drink, it was all wrong. I used my free coupon, which I have been saving up my points for this drink. I ordered a large Tiger's Blood green tea with light ice, instead I got a small drink that tasted like water with pounds of sugar flavorings. Disgusting! I asked the lady about it, due to it was the wrong size. She was very dismissive and telling me I was wrong, that I just decided to take the drink and go. It not worth the hassle! I am SO upset and disappointed with the customer service, and drinks here. I normally get amazing service from Dutch Bros... but I didn't this time and it put a awful taste in my mouth! Man! I cannot stop thinking about this coffee!! We stopped at our first one in Coos Bay, OR and from the first sip I was hooked! Forget all the other coffee chains, this one is my absolutely favorite! I thought after about 2 weeks, I'd be over it and the cravings would fade but I miss miss MISS my kicker in the morning! I so so miss this amazing coffee that was so smooth and perfectly creamy! The funny thing was, we passed up a stamp card because we figured it would only be a one time thing - but it turned into an every day - sometimes even a couple times a day thing! We definitely would have filled out a stamp card during our road trip! I don't think I really need to add anything that hasn't already been said - although I did notice that the people of Oregon really love their drive thru coffee! Being a California girl I have never had the pleasure of trying Dutch Bros. I had heard of it before from my pac northwest friends and recently it was featured on Undercover boss. On my vacation to OR I had to give it a try. The barista was full of spunk. I ordered the Dutch Freeze white mocha. The Dutch freezes are their blended beverages, a lot like a frappuccino, but better. Beware of brain freeze! I've had bad experiences every time I've visited. Unfortunately, this is the only coffee shop in Newport that is open late, so I have been forced to go here when driving home late. The most frustrating thing about this location is how they treat my husband. They lean over the window so that their boobs are practically spilling out in order to get good tips (sadly for them, this doesn't work with him). Several times, I have been waiting in line for a very long time, while the stop and chat with the person in front of me (mostly guys).
