My husband and I go to this Dutch Bros almost every Sunday; today I was unimpressed. The gal that took our order in the drive through seemed very short and when our payment went through, she didn't offer us to leave a tip (which I always do a 20% tip when I order) and just told us we were behind a specific car and turned around and walked away. There were three people working inside and they were very busy. We waited about 5-7 minutes at the window before the coffee was given to us. The music they were playing inside was so loud that when the guy at the window asked my husband a question and he said he couldn't hear the response. I ordered a Lg FlapJack freeze made with white coffee. When I got the drink, I knew immediately it was wrong. It was too white. I tasted it and immediately knew they forgot all flavoring. It is quite literally blended white coffee and milk. Not what I ordered. I've never had issues with this Dutch Bros but today was unpleasant. I left a $4 cash tip at the window, the guy at the window saw my husband put the tip in the box and did not say anything (no thank you, nothing) and I honestly regret leaving a tip today. I work in customer service (grocery store), I understand when times get busy and employees get frustrated that things tend to slip. But completely forgetting all flavoring in a coffee order is unacceptable. The worker should have known by the color of the drink that something was wrong. Please do better Dutch Bros. read more

This is a fantastic Dutch location. My wife and I were in town for a convention at nearby GSR and were able to drive each day from our Airbnb to Dutch to the convention. Very convenient. Not too far from the freeway either. The broistas were always friendly and our drinks were always made correctly. We used the drive-thru each day except one. We tried the order ahead using the app and it worked flawlessly. By the time we drove over from where we were staying our drinks were ready. Our final day there was a merch day, and we were driving all the way home to Mesa, AZ in one fell swoop. We ordered four drinks for our trip and got 4 very cool color-changing vibe straws. This will forever be our go-to location when we visit Reno/Sparks. read more

Went on a Saturday and it was crowded. Lots of cars lined up in drive-thru so we decided to do the walk-up. (Keep in mind there is no indoor seating at any Dutch Bros). Despite being busy, the service was courteous and efficient. I ordered the Iced Hopscotch Zero Added Sugar Protein Mocha. It was very good and filling at 210 calories, 12g protein, and 5g fiber for the Small size. My friend had the Iced Annihilator which has espresso, chocolate macadamia nut and is made with half and half instead of milk. Also, very good. That said, there are so many drink options to choose from beyond coffee drinks, including energy drinks, matcha latte, matcha lemonade, boba, Dutch cocoa, chai, blended freeze, shakes, sparkling soda, Dutch sodas, flavored lemonades, various teas, and smoothies. The people here are super special. Great conversation, the utmost knowledge of their product. I've been lucky and caught two short lines, mostly because of my timing. Unfortunately, quality has gone way down hill and prices increased. This is in addition to them starting to charge tax. Two lanes that take advantage of the space, so no circling around the block to try to get into line like the location across from the convention center. Dutch Brothers normally is probably top two in my desire for consuming coffee at every waking hour. And I was greatful one so close to my has opened. This particular Dutch Brothers however is ungodly slow. Every time I've gone through the line for this one, I've spent 30 minutes at least in waiting. Today I spent nearly 50 minutes in line. I even left early to account for the wait. They accounted for the extra time I had and doubled down on the time they wanted to take. Dutch Brothers has delicious and cheaper than usual coffee comparatively, but this one, is not worth the dollar or two saved. read more

Tonight I was in line at 9:55 and the car in front of me sat and tralked to the girl in the window till 10:05 and when I dove up to the window and the girl was rude and said they where closed, before I could say anything she slammed the windows shut and walked away. The girls always having some sort of drama inside and even outside where you order. The workers are usually arguing or starting stuff between each other it honestly seems like petty teenage stuff, it's uncomfortable every time I go and the workers have some sort of attitude more than half of the time. Keep your drama out of work, and don't be acting like fools in front of customers. It looks very unprofessional. They also have messed up on my drinks quite often. Actually the worst dutch bros in the Reno-Sparks area. There is almost always a line, they are kind of rude most of the time, but then take forever with other guests. Just today they skipped my car completely while waiting patiently in line: I do not mean oh someone cut me, No. No one took my order. When I order an energy drink from Dutch Bros., the cup is filled clear to the top of the cup. It take some manipulation to get the straw in the cup. I mentioned this to a guy that was taking my order one time and he said "they have to, it comes from HQ". I know the method.....more ice, less product, more profit. I get the same exact drink every single time and it is consistently SO good and tastes the exact same every time which makes me believe they are so careful with their portion sizes and measuring and all of that! This was some of the best customer service I have had in a long while. Kiley, Trinity, and Master provided more than just my drink. They were able to guide me through some options for protein drinks , since I was looking for something after my workout. The drink I was able to get was a SF VANILLA LATTE ADD PROTEIN. This location is not the best in Reno that's for sure. Every time I come through here, even if it's a small wait it ends up taking for ever. I've been coming to Dutch bros for 15 years and slowly but surely their customer service, quality of their drinks and their efficiency has gone down hill. Dutch bros as a whole has started taking away reward points every month if you don't use them. I'm not a drive through coffee person so when I go it's every once in a while and I slowly noticed I'd have less points every time I go in. The only reason I'll go to Dutch again is if someone gives me a gift card. This new location that wasn't here the last time I came. I'm from Northern California and to have one close by from where I'm visiting is a couple miles away is perfect. The last time I came to visit, the closest one was like almost 8 miles away.
