Dutch Bros is my go-to coffee shop. Whether I want something hot or cold I know it'll satisfy. Typically Dutch Bros has way friendlier workers than some of the other big name coffee shops, but with how busy they've been over the last few years I feel like some of the conversations have lessened from what they used to be. This location always has a line, and it seems a lot of customers in the drive thru don't quite understand the way this drive thru works (pull all the way forward, go to lane with less cars, don't block the exit)... years ago staff would help guide people up to make sure cars didn't spill into the street, but I haven't seen that in a while now. read more

061725 Fam and I stopped by here on a Sunday... post Cache Creek trip lol. It was packed when we came (drive through) and when we were pulling out, the crowd was nonexistent - go figure right? It's my 2nd time - (1st visit was in Roseville and I was sick so couldn't really enjoy it) but since I'm a newbie - had to rely on my Mom to tell me what their menu was since I was driving. Menu wise, it's a bit overwhelming but managed to get the Kicker blended freeze - it was good and I went easy on the sweetness but it was still sweet. I think I won't do this again since the ice hardened through the drive back to the Bay. Overall - during rush hour, the employees are out taking orders to accomodate crowd control. Our server that day was a young man and he was super friendly despite the heat of being outside, which was super suprising but well received from yours truly! It's nice to have someone greet you with a friendly tone despite the weather. Will definitely frequent though their spot can get madly busy so please be patience and your order will be taken. I learned two new things about Dutch Bros today: they sell Protein coffee (!!!) and order ahead is available on the app! I had a free app reward (medium drink) I wanted to use before it expired. Once I saw the protein coffee options...nothing else mattered!! LOL I ordered the Salted Caramel protein latte (medium, hot) in the app to pick up. When I arrived, I let the broista know I was picking up an order and provided my name. Easy! There's a short line with cars ahead of me. The wait wasn't long, the line moved often. Once I got to the window, another broista confirmed my drink and handed it to me about a minute later. The salted caramel protein latte is hot, delicious, not heavily sweetened,, with a hint of caramel. I definitely would order again! Absolute worst experience I've ever had. Undrinkable drink completely melted when I asked for double blended FREEZE. If I wanted it iced I would've asked for it. Rudest attitude from a worker I have ever seen. Exactly why I don't tip until after. I knew I was better off getting a starbucks frappe, they actually know the concept of blended drink. This Dutch Bros is drive-thru only, so I'm not sure why the app even offers a pick-up ahead option because you're still going to have to wait in the drive-thru line. I'm from Oregon, where there are DBs on every street. Although people have their own opinion of how DB workers engage with their customers, I've always appreciated the effort put into customer experience. Yesterday 12/15/24, I arrived in Vacaville to visit family, and we stopped by DB for drinks. I wasn't greeted with the same friendly ecstatic energy but thought nothing of it. I ordered an energy drink for my friend, and thought his drink came with a soft top (as pictured on the menu). I kindly asked the employee if the drink came with a soft top (not knowing it was an add-on option), in which she replied "No!" in a non-polite way. I step aside. The next person behind me ordered, and from a distance, I hear the customer and the same employee arguing. Later, the same employee also appeared to be rude to another customer waiting for her order. The customer behind me asked for that employees name, in which I took note of but will not mention it out of respect. However, I am hoping the matter is addressed to the staff to better their customer service and experience. In my years of going to DB, this is the first time I witnessed unprofessional conduct from a DB employee. Although I rated this 2 stars, based on my experience, the drinks are always 5 stars for me. read more

I've never had Dutch Bros Coffee before today, but after seeing a reel online about their Horchata Chai, I knew I had to make a stop to try it. It's kind of crazy that there is not a Dutch Bros in the Bay Area, so during a road trip, I made it a point to make this a stop. I downloaded the app about a month ago and I was pleasantly surprised that on my birthday I got a notification that I got a free birthday drink. It was a fate, celebrating my birthday still this week and with a free drink was sweet! It was about 3 pm on a Thursday, so there was some cars in the drive thru line but it went pretty quickly. Everyone was very friendly. I ordered my Horchata Chai, and the rest is history.....I am a fan!!! It was one of the best drinks I've had, but sad that to have it, I have to make quite a drive. If Dutch Bros was closer, I would most likely venture and try out other drinks but for now this will be the only drink I will be ordering when I come across Dutch Bros in my travels. I can see what the hype is all about. It was my first time trying this coffee and I got the banana something. It had a nice banana flavor that was not too strong nor too light. I got it iced but you can also get it hot. This location only allowed drive thru, which there was a decent amount of cars for a Saturday late afternoon ~5pm. Even though it was a few cars deep, it went quickly. Definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the area. There's actually so many in the Sac area and neighboring cities. read more

We got the cold brew caramelizer and it was pretty good, even better than an iced caramel macchiato from SBux. We came back on the way home back to the Bay and we got the Golden Peak, it was good but the Caramelizer was better. We will be back when we are in the area shopping or passing by. My first Dutch Bros experience! We were on our way to Tahoe when everyone felt the need to stop for coffee. I'm not a huge coffee drinker myself, but they have many other selections so there should be something for everyone. The staff here is extremely friendly and super helpful. Fast paced even with a long line, delicious drinks, friendly staff. When we first pulled in there was a LOOONG line and I was worried it would take a while but they are doing something similar to Chick-fil-A and have someone taking orders throughout the line and so all you have to do is grab your drink and go once you get to the window. The lady taking our order was super nice. And my drink was super yummy. It was a carmelizer which is basically a Carmel mocha. Very yummy flavor.
