I am going to post an amazing post I came across, regarding this BR, the employee Isaiah!! Give this young man some kudos! I wish I posted this right after our visit to Baskin Robbin near the Walmart in Vacaville. There is a very nice young black man working there that did something I have never seen any person do at any Baskin Robbin. My husband is allergic to tree nuts so we will only do restaurants or fast food places that he feels comfortable eating at. He told the young man he is allergic to nuts and he turned around with the scooper in his and went to the sink to wash it. After that, he took the tub of chocolate and set it aside to get to the tub that was underneath and preceded to scoop from this new untouched tub of chocolate. We said that we never had anyone do that for us and he said that is what they were supposed to do when a person tells them that they have an allergy. We were confused because this has never happened before. We were extremely grateful to this young man for being careful and understanding. We have returned to the same location and his politeness with his customers should be acknowledged. Thank you if you are reading this. read more

I am so upset with the customer service. My husband and I walked in at night to get some ice cream. It wasn't busy when we came in, only one family of 4. They had 4 employees working an older woman was going in circle not knowing what to do. The other 3 I guess they were getting a pick up order ready. We weren't told "I'll be right with you" or " are you ready to order?" Nothing from any of those 4 employees. A lady comes in, she went straight to the freezer looking at the cakes. One of the employees asked her" are you looking for a specific cake?" My husband and I looked at each other and " WTF". We felt discriminated, so we left and went to Cold Stone. I will never ever going to that specific store again. read more

Went on a late-night ice cream run with my best friend. She was really wanting ice cream after dinner and I usually get a banana split whenever I do get ice cream. We thought they closed at 10pm, but I think they recently changed their hours and now close at 9pm. Not a problem for us, because we got there about 20 minutes before closing. When we were looking at the flavors we wanted, we had one of the best and funniest interactions with one of the employees there. He was so personable and great to talk to as he got our order done. He was very generous with the serving sizes and added all the toppings I wanted on my banana split. I'm sad we didn't catch your name. We would 10000% come back just from the interaction alone, but the effort put into making this beautiful banana split is the cherry on top. Today was a rough one for me, and he didn't know it, but this was the pick me up that turned the day around for me. read more

I haven't visited a baskin robbins in a while. We just got their pre packed ice cream that's 2 for $11.99. We got the strawberry cheesecake and and Janice almond fudge. Our fave flavors. It's so good. It's a great place to visit when the weather is hot. The customer service was great. The y were very nice and accommodating. read more

Came in 10 minutes before closing...so late BTW because I had gone to the one across town and they didn't have the pre pack flavor I needed so I drove across town to get it. When I came in the employee refused to make any blended drinks for me because he didn't want to get the blender dirty. Shocking lack of customer service or concern for the business as his laziness literally cost the store tonight's sales, not to mention future business, If I owned or ran this business I would not be okay with this level of customer service from my employees. read more

Friendly service! Nicely crafted ice creams! Clean restrooms and location. Plenty of parking. A customer entered without a mask on and they nicely ask them to put a mask on. I can see how that must be tough for employees, especially the young ones who recently entered the work force. Good job in being professional! The whole time she kept saying do you want anything else before I could even answer her and she was rushing me the whole time and it was not busy at all you can tell she hates her job but don't take it out on the customers never going back to this location don't go here unless you want to be treated poorly horrible customer service!!!!!! I just have to give a special shoutout to Nicole, the cake decorator at this Baskin-Robbins. She is the best. I accidentally ordered a customized cake online and needed it the next day, but didn't realize that the online orders automatically push orders 48 hours ahead. I called Nicole and told her that I needed the cake the next day, and she said she would try her best to finish it in time. She surprised me and actually finished it that same day! The cake was also exactly what I wanted. Thank you, Nicole! You're the best! If you ever need a customized ice cream cake, Nicole is your person! Just show her your idea, and she will work with you. I visited with my 3 kids. There was a few people ahead of us. We were probably waiting about 3 minutes before it was our turn. When the girl helped us. She gave us a reluctant hello. Her face then started to scrunch up as my 10 year old daughter started with her order. Which I was surprised that her customer service to my family was highly different from the customer before us. She was very talkative with that customer her whole order. The girl did not seem happy that she was helping us. Definitely made me feel unwelcome. I make it habit to spend my money where I feel welcomed. read more

The service I received (or lack thereof) was absolutely deplorable! I was looking for a no sugar added ice cream and the signs for the no sugar added flavors had a warning that sensitive people may have a laxative effect when eating their ice cream. I asked their employee what the sugar substitute was and he told me first, that the ice cream had just the natural ingredients and no sugar had been added. I told him about the warning and that there was a sugar substitute in it. Second, he then changed his story and said it should be listed on the label, which I told him it was not. Third, I asked if the ingredients were listed in a book somewhere and he and another employee (both were kids) said they weren't and said, "Sorry, have a nice day," like that made their lack of knowledge and resourcefulness okay. That was the SECOND time today I had a young person help me and rather than ask someone more knowledgeable a question they just blew the situation off. I used to own a restaurant and my employees were required to know what they were selling and also where to find the info they needed. This business is a franchise, which I will assume from today's experience, has absentee owners. To the owners of this Baskin Robbin's I have this to say... I'm going to Fenton's, you know, your competition? You might want to impress upon your staff that they need to know that information. I believe it is a health department requirement that it be provided on demand, much like a request to see a license. You might want to look into that as well as retrain your staff because I will NOT be back. Who knows how many other people have been treated so dismissively by your staff? Hmmmmm... read more

Yes we went to Baskin Robbin's and they were very busy! I ordered a birthday cake for my son and it was beautiful, but it was not good. The one I got last year at another store was better. Then I got ice cream for everyone and my son that was the birthday person had a mint chip ice cream cone and it fell on the ground so he didn't get his ice cream. The store was too busy for one person. read more

Closing shift needs customer service training. I know it was close to closing 8:47 pm(Closing at 9pm) But we were already inside, some of our party was still ordering and there were still other customers in store. We wanted to sit down while we waited for everyone to order but staff told us not to put down the chairs. This was not appropriate. We actually had some one with a medical condition who needed to sit down. Is this what management expects their staff to do, close on time at all cost even to disregard their customers. A little disappointed. The good thing there is another BR31 nearby read more

The Vacaville location on Helen Power was disappointing. I called to check to see if a cake was in stock and the lady on the phone kept repeating that I was welcome to come in and check. I can understand if she was busy at the time she could have suggested to call back but she didn't. At the Alamo store there was a completely different experience. I will make sure all of my future visits will be at that location going forward. read more

3 scoop sundae please! Load me up with Peanut Butter and Chocolate ice cream, hot fudge, whipped cream, nuts, and a cherry, YES PLEASE! Such a creature of habit... never straying from my usual recipe. I must say that the little unicorn cup is pretty dang cute and I almost tried it but stuck to my normal item. Today the girl working was so nice and personable. LOVE THAT! My husband was wearing his Long Beach State baseball hat and she said "I like your hat" so we got to talking and she went to Long Beach State and only had to come home to Nor Cal recently once Covid happened and changed everything. I doordash a sundae. I was so happy to see they had pralines and cream on door dash because that's the only ice cream I eat. I ordered a two scoop sundae with praline caramel sauce, hot fudge, bananas and nuts. The portions were good size especially the hot fudge that was in separate cup to keep from melting the ice cream. It was packaged well so good customer service in packaging for delivery. read more

Their AC is out (sign on door says waiting for repair person) and it's like 105 today. It's unbelievably hot in that building and humid. I was in there for like 2 minutes and was so uncomfortable. I can't imagine the workers who have been in there all day....you could see the sweat dripping off their faces. They had like one dinky fan plugged in for them like that's going to make a difference. Did I see any upper management behind the counter? No of course not, but I'm sure they're enjoying their AC wherever they are. Made sure to leave a tip bigger than my order. read more

Our first visit was so good, young guy was so friendly and we enjoyed a lot of our ice cream, it was a two generous scoop to each container. Last our visit wasn't successful at all, served by a woman, we ordered again two scoops each.. and it was so small balls of ice cream that you could hardly see them inside container... So disappointed, never back to this location. Very expensive ice cream, it suppose to be some rule to sell by weight at least. read more

I have ordered both in person and online (with about a 4-7 day turn-around) and they have always been on time, professional and fantastic. Since after I witness myself, They helped a random DoorDash guy with no mask, they were okay with it but didn't asked him that he has to wear a mask. After that when they were about to serve me they end up asking me that I have to wear a mask so that's Bullshit. Didn't get the two workers names but they were two young brunette girls. read more

Claire was great. Super patient with my littles. Thing two orders Mint chocolate chip in a cup. Thing one orders cotton candy on a sprinkle cone. Thing two cries that he wants a cone. Mom hands thing two her cone to hold while she puts his ice cream on his cone. Thing two drops moms cone. Claire kindly got me another cone, and didn't charge us for switching thing twos ice cream from cup to a sprinkle cone, as we had already paid. As we were eating thing ones cone broke right in half. The top fell on the ground as he was holding the bottom still. Claire kindly got him another scoop. She gave him a sprinkle sugar cone with mint chocolate chip. She saved the day three times and never charges us a penny more. That's customer service! We will be back, hopefully a little more put together next time. read more

So we went here to buy my brothers birthday cake and the only cake designer there, Megan, was the kindest, most phenomenal employee ever!!! She first offered to squeeze us in her already busy schedule to make us a cake, though my brother decided to switch to a different part of the week and she was so amazing to us when we did so. She gave us a killer discount and was just so lovely to us! She is the epitome of an amazing employee and I hope she gets recognized for her work ethic and customer service! read more

I went to Baskin-Robbins to see about the Non-Dairy flavor. I came In to only one woman leaving with maybe her grandchild. To my dismay there was a bunch of dairy ice cream in the container. I confirmed with the young man who was going to help me but then I told him I would not be eating here because of the contaminated ice cream. I know you can't be perfect and things happen but the store is clearly not busy with no myself being the only customer here that could have been taken care of. I will not be back to this location. I have never been to Baskin-Robbins and been able to eat and I still haven't. A ruined experience. Thank you, however for having a Non-Dairy option. read more

Summer is here and that means ice cream breaks! When its just one of those days when I've had enough at work and it looks way to nice outside to be behind a desk I usually head over to Baskin Robbins for an afternoon pick-me up. Service is always quick and ice cream of course- really good. People are friendly and the establishment is clean. Nothing like a little ice cream to make things all better. read more

The staff was very friendly and helped out everyone with patience and got hot chocolate for everyone too. Over the years my appetizer/food orders have been declining in taste and quality. It's sad when it was an item I raved about. I think it's a hit or miss depending on who is making it? Or if the cook is in a lousy mood? The Guampanada's are usually great but the price went from $3.75 to $10 (for two pieces) since I moved here in 2018. I get it, supply and demand. I plan to make my own Guam Empanadas. Check out the YouTube videos. I anyways have the ingredients at home. The filling is super easy to make, I just need to work on the masa to wrap it in. Practice and food prep is key to avoid paying $10 for one empanada in a few years.

Two weeks before the party, I called Fantasty Cakes to ask if they were available to bake a princess themed birthday cake for our little one. Thankfully, they were available and agreed to make the cake for us. Later on that same day, we stopped by to see and approve the model they had for the detailing of the cake. We agreed to bring fresh flowers in for the top of the cake and a gold crown cake topper we purchased. We dropped both items off the evening before our event. The princess birthday cake turned out nearly exactly how we wanted it. The style was elegant and they included a nice, sutle glittery sheen to the cake as well. The cake was moist, not too sweet (just how I like it), and was quite tasty. For the filling, we requested strawberries. Unfortunately, they included very little strawberries for the cake's filling. They did include a ton of fresh whipped cream more so than strawberries, which was disappointing for the amount of money we spent on the cake. Initially the customer service we experienced was pretty good. The staff seemed helpful and knowledgeable, even when we spoke on the phone. On the pick-up day, however, our multi-tiered cake was given to us in a donut box and not an actual cake box. That being said, the donut box was not closed around the cake, exposing it to the elements. My husband asked if they could place the cake in an actual cake box, but the worker said the donut box was all they had and handed it over to him. I'm very grateful for Fantasy Cakes being available to make my daughter's birthday cake on such a short notice.
