I understand that sometimes things happened but the the mean glares we reviewed from the women working there was incredible! Also the egg was in a square shape and had a weird texture. Their handmade bakery goods and other goodies are made fresh daily, sometimes hourly, are always delicious and you can tell they take great pride in only offering the very best they can. We have ordered 'Yule log' otherwise known as 'Bûche de Noël', Christmas cake several times, including this year & they are always delicious and very well received by our Christmas guests! They use locally sourced ingredients where they can and always seem to have a lively, fun, yet relaxed atmosphere of locals and seasonal guests either stopping by for an excellent cop of coffee & a treat or maybe lingering for a while enjoy a breakfast treat or sandwich and while hopping onto the Internet to check of email via their Wi-Fi network. You are always greeted with a friendly 'Welcome' or 'Hello, we'll be right with you.' if they are busy and you always feel welcome even if it's your first time! We loved everything we've tried including their artesian breads, pastries, cookies, Pecan Rolls (so good when they've just come out of the oven!!) as well as their made-to-order cakes, which are amazing!! Highly recommended & we love supporting locally owned & operated businesses & this one is definitely worth supporting!

The smashburgers were perfectly executed--juicy, flavorful, and layered with the kind of detail you can taste in every bite. The chicken wings had that ideal balance of crisp and tenderness, and the potato salad? Comforting, creamy, and done right. But the real standout for me was the cannoli pizza--creative, indulgent, and completely unforgettable. Beyond the food, what truly sets Pond Hill Farm apart is the experience. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and effortlessly charming--exactly what you want for a night out in Northern Michigan. As a fellow local business, I also deeply appreciate how supportive they are of the community. It means something--and it shows in everything they do. If you haven't been, go. And if you have, you already know.

We were there during dueling piano night. It was pretty crowded, but the folks behind the bar were doing a great job of getting everyone served. If you're staying in Petoskey or Harbor Springs, it's worth the pretty drive.

I will go as far to say this is one of my favorite spots I've ever been in the world. I was so happy and peaceful here. Our intention was just to grab lunch, and there aren't many spots in Kewadin. We pulled up and I was immediately impressed. Okay, I was immediately squealing with delight. The nursery was so beautiful. Perfectly landscaped with lots of thoughtful touches. This is more like an oasis you escape to, instead of a retail nursery. The grounds were so enjoyable to walk through. We made our way back to the cafe and I once again was giddy when i saw the antique and gift shop. This place was darling. Great mix of items and gifts- local handmade items, pretty things to look at. The cafe had a great little menu and the most adorable patio. I had the Italian sandwich and it was very good. Honestly, they could have served me a pile of dirt and I would have been just as happy. The tranquil atmosphere was the perfect break I needed on our vacation. It provided me with a wonderful memory that I have very much enjoyed looking back on

I started with the Smoked Brisket Hash 2 eggs, smoked pulled beef brisket, redskin potatoes, sweet onions, and toast. Savory, delicious, smoked meat and potatoes. The egg drizzled over everything and added to the richness. I could eat this every day! I also got the BCD Cakes as a desert. 3 extra large cakes, Michigan maple syrup, whipped butter and a sprinkling of powder sugar. Rich, thick, and sweet pancakes. They were the perfect pairing to my savory meal, however it was way too much food for one person. Their portions are large and you will not be leaving hungry. A few more things to note is that the deli has a rustic cabin themed. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive to the table.
