Jay went completely above and beyond from the moment we walked in. He took the time to explain sizing, different boot styles, and how the boots are actually supposed to fit. He was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure we left satisfied. Both Jay and his manager worked with us to help make an exchange happen, and we truly appreciated the effort and customer service they provided. I come here pretty often because my son likes the variety of shoes that they provide. Most of the…read moreemployees are pretty welcoming, but I was always enlightened to see the old general manager in the store since she helped us out no issue. I asked one of the workers about her and they told me that she unfortunately moved stores... even asked who her replacement was and was upset to hear that it was the new lady that wasn't welcoming at all. You could tell she wasn't enthusiastic when we walked in and basically avoided helping us get a shoe, letting some of the other workers do the work. Being BIPOC, it's always disheartening being avoided in service areas since you can't tell if it's discrimination-based or just genuine dislike for the job lol. Overall, I will most likely be traveling to a different store to avoid feeling uncomfortable and hope that things change at this one! Shout out to the normal workers though, they're awesome!
