As a larger man our choices of shopping are very limited. I do enjoy the selection they have at DXL but the staff can be a bit off putting. As well as the pricing. Apparently because I'm a larger size my price needs to be much larger as well. I don't know of a good alternative unfortunately so I keep coming here. read more

Seems they never restock this store anymore, I Can no longer find shirts or shoes in my size here, always out of stock on common sizes, shoes they have no sizes in any styles. Went here the other day trying to find crew neck Tee shirts, use to be a very common here item right? well not anymore, not a single shirt in 3XL and not many in other sizes either, Tee shirt shelfs were reduced in size and now mostly empty, No sales help and No customer service, just a guy that stays behind the counter and won't come out just always stays back there and says I can order it for you every time I go in this store instead of coming out and helping me, if I wanted to order clothes I could do it myself, when I come shopping at a store I kind of expect there to be sales help and something in stock, Also, never any seasonal change in merchandise either, still same old last summer or last winter stuff in the same spots, never any new styles, nothing new, just less stuff in less sizes. read more

We went in looking for a suit. The man behind the counter said he would go get Randy, because Randy was the best. There have never been truer words spoken. Randy was so amazing - he knew exactly what he was doing, was ultra-professional and extremely fun to talk to. He has wonderful taste; the shirt, tie and accessories and shoes he recommended were absolutely perfect. He sized my husband within 5 minutes and had found the perfect suit within another 5 minutes. He recommended a tailor and gave us her card, and she was able to get us in the very same day. The other two gentlemen working in the store were also very friendly and fun. We will definitely make this our destination for my husbands wardrobe from now on. Thanks, Randy, for making what is usually such a tough experience so extremely pleasant! My experiences here run hot and cold. This time, it was pretty meh. First off, upon entering the store there was the overwhelming scent of what can only be described as industrial air freshener. It was very overwhelming, and I'm not usually scent-sensitive. We were greeted right away, but after that, were essentially left on our own, and had to hunt down staff to ask questions. Hubs was trying on clothes and I was sitting in the "spouse chair" near the mirrors when a staff member bustled over and started maniacallyy cleaning this table next to me while making passive-aggressive comments about other staff members not cleaning up after themselves. It was odd. There are some good-looking clothes here, but you are definitely going to pay a pretty penny for them. Unless you've got the budget to blow, this is a special event kind of place to shop. read more

Took a cousin from overseas to DXL for some clothes shopping. He can never find clothes his size back in Asia so this was the best place to take him to. The staff were friendly and checked on us a few times. They carry unknown labels as well as brand names. Offerings include polo shirts, jeans, pants, jackets, shoes, socks, suits and underclothing. Prices are up there, but if you are big and tall (which is part of their name), you have very limited options out there. read more

My husband is big and tall and it's always SO HARDDDD to find larger shoe sizes that are wide for him. I'm from Vancouver, BC and they have literally one store called "Big & Tall" which only carry 4-5 shoe styles and are crazy expensive! $150-200 CDN for a pair of shoes for everyday wear! I was shopping at Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood and saw DXL from where I parked. I didn't go in but checked it out online. I came back two weeks later with my hubby and I'm so glad we checked it out! Soooo many different shoes and sizes! AND they have "extra wide/extra extra wide" shoe sizes!!! I was SO happy cuz it's so damn hard finding shoes for him and he gets frustrated too. We came in and was greeted by Max. He was super helpful and nice! Showed us exactly what we came in for! We bought three pairs of shoes, sandals and socks all for $320 USD. That's a steal for us!!! They have everything! Shoes, clothes, accessories! Loved it all!!! We definitely will be coming back a lot in the future! Hi there ! New customer alert ! One day me and my mom where thinking of going to this new store for the big and tall folk since I'm not fitting into whatever H&M and what Zumiez are selling for shirts these days. I will preface this by saying that I had a more than satisfying experience here. My first and second visit for primarily T-shirts that fit on the 2 XL size and the quality of the product is totally worth the money. Along with the hats that they offer for just about any size of grown up men so if you're a young adult or adult male I would highly encourage you to give this place a try at least once. Considering that this store is quite new and is a nice replacement for Azteca . Nice and inviting staff on the floor and at least two are more than willing to help you find what you're looking for and are super resourceful and friendly and that's something that I feel is often missed at retail stores that sell clothing and apparel these days and makes for quite the refreshing experience nonetheless. Absolutely recommend DXL men's apparel in Lynnwood the sales person Kirk helped me out so much my situation and made me feel so welcomed in the store. I am a large individual male, and most clothes do not fit me but he helped me find everything I needed the store has everything you could think for clothing if you were a large male. Had a really great experience here today. Needed to get all gussied up for an event this weekend and Orlando helped me out big time. I got some nice pants and a jacket and even was able to get them tailored in a hurray. Everyone was super friendly and the selection of clothes was great. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND STORE. I would like to give this place 0 stars. My relative is a regular at this store and spends at least $100+ each time she visits there. She has to drive each way of 40-45 minutes to reach the Destination XL in Lynnwood because it is the biggest store that carries a variety of clothes for men. The assistant manager, Heather, ​and another short Asian man both mistreated my relative unprofessionally and ignored her. They knew she is a regular there and they used rude hand gestures directly in front of my relative's face and told her to go away. My relative did not do anything wrong​ but she wanted to ask more about a particular shirt size, brand, and style. I don't understand why they were not only uncouth but degraded her directly. THIS IS NOT HOW YOU SHOULD TREAT CUSTOMERS! ESPECIALLY REGULAR CUSTOMERS! WHY DID THEY EVEN USE HAND GESTURES IN FRONT OF A CUSTOMER'S FACE!? I've also been there multiple times and these two employees, in particular,​ aren't helpful and are always 'too busy' to do things. They do not do things quickly​ and are very slow especially when handling the register. This is upsetting because my relative not only had to waste time to drive back and forth to this store and waste a ton of money on these overpriced male clothing​ but had to deal with these uncivilized, unprofessional employees. WE WON'T BE COMING BACK TO THIS STORE! FYI: I prefer the one gentleman that works​ there (I forgot his name) he wears with a ponytail. He actually apologized to my relative and the​ way his other coworkers mistreated her unprofessionally. He was willing to help and we appreciate ​his time and help. read more

I was very disappointed with the lack of customer service. I walked in around 3 pm today the 7th of Jan looking for clothes for my upcoming holiday party. I walked in and a employee looked right at me and didn't even acknowledge I was there. So I walked the store two, three times and the other employee looked my way and again I was ignored. There was only two customers in the store as well. At this point I went Men's Warehouse and received phenomenal service. It is disappointing since I've shopped at DXL in San Diego with great customer service. I will not be back or recommend DXL to anyone at my place of employment. read more

The Lynnwood store is amazing and I always receive top notch service. I come in 3ish times a year and the staff often remembers me and welcomes me back. I especially appreciate this store as the close by JC Penney no longer seems to carry any Big & Tall. I am happy to do business with DXL. read more

Have had nothing but good experiences here. Appreciate the fact that they have a tailor on staff here in case you need something taken in, or let out. I've picked up anything from a t-shirt and a belt to a pair of slacks and a nice shirt here. They have a very nice selection in store for a wide range of sizes. When they didn't happen to have the color I wanted, they went to their website to see if they offered it at all on there. Happily I was able to get the shirt I was looking for. read more

My son needed wedding clothes. I needed nothing. He decided to go to DXL because he's big in the shoulders though not especially tall, as am I. I've always had a problem fitting shirts; either they're cut for skinny men or, if big enough for me, way, way too long. I had no idea that DXL has full lines of top quality stuff designed to fit ANY man. Read that again. These guys are serious about it; the employees know their stuff cold, and if you go in here just let them take you by the hand. I ended up buying a bunch of my favorites, new polos, and the look and fit is - finally - perfect. Bought three, got them for $27 apiece, and am one happy guy. No more poking around in the dark looking for something that halfway fits okay. Not an employee, got nothing free, just happy as hell knowing where to get perfect, classy stuff at a decent price.
