I had a strange noise from our refrigerator. Call Dynamic and their tech Andrew came out. Of course there was no noise. He said he would come back at no charge in the next 30 days. I was able to record the noise a few days later. Andrew returned today, listen to my recording and quickly determined the cause of the problem was an evaporator fan. I was surprised and happy, he always carries this fan in his truck. Andrew removed numerous panels and connections to reach the fan. Twice this year I've needed appliances repaired and Dynamic was able to help me both times. First the dishwashers stopped heating properly in January. It took a few days for the parts, but we have a Bosch dishwasher and wouldn't expect them to carry parts on the truck for it. When the parts came in the tech made special arrangements to come out at a time that was convenient as I was leaving town. In short order he had the part installed and I was able to get to my destination on time. This time I came home on Saturday afternoon to find the refrigerator had stopped cooling. One of the worst experiences I have ever had dealing with a business. Don't get me wrong the technician was super nice and respectful, but everyone else was super frustrating. We are a family of 6 with 4 young kids and we have a lot of dishes. Our dishwasher stopped while drying during a normal cycle. It would just turn offWe called out dynamic appliance repair to take look and the technician came out and he was stumped but he had an idea. He ordered a part and a week later would come out and replaced a part. He waited around 2 minutes into the cycle and said it's fixed and left. I had to reach out through their website and have him come back out because after about 15 minutes it turned off. He did some research and came back and said maybe we replace the computer. He order the computer and after about a week we hadn't heard anything so we had to reach out and ask what was going on and all we got was an oh "it's on back order". Never did they reach out or anything to let us know. So we waited. He finally came out after after like 2 weeks on a Friday. He replaced the computer and literally waited about 1 minutes and was like "ok it's working" and left. Now it was like 4pm on a Friday so I understand. But I called and no one answered. So I went to the website and wrote them and asked for someone to call. Monday Tuesday no calls, no anything. Finally I had enough so I went out and bought a dishwasher, they came the same day and installed and left. I have 4 kids I couldn't wait any longer. However, Dynamic has a 100% money back guarantee. What is the value of peace of mind? For us, it's a LOT! We have a built-in refrigerator that has been getting warmer and warmer for the past couple of weeks. Steve could not be more kind, smart, joyful, and ready for any reason for our warming. It turns out our refrigerator is on decline. The technician came out and I was very disappointed. The washing machine smelled like a sewer. The flames on the propane cooktop were not working properly and the refrigerator was not making cubed ice. I was told that in order to fix the refrigerator issue it would be $500.00. He looked at the stove and took a probe and cleaned 1 burner and then told me that I need to take a scew driver and open the bottom part to clean it. Also, that I should find my manuel to clean the rest. Then he looked at the washing machine. He stood 2 feet away from it and told me to buy some cleaning tablets to throw in it. I asked if he could see any leaks. Without looking, he said there were none. I called the owner this morning to report my dissatisfaction. He was extremely defensive and told me that his tech came out for a diagnostic evaluation only. I then told him that i was told that the $110.00 would go to any repairs needed. He stated that I should be happy that for $110.00 he looked at everything and took 5 minutes to clean 1 burner head. Also, that they get calls weekly and do not need to examine the washing machine. That they all just need to be cleaned with a tablet inside. How do you make any diagnosis with looking at the machine and standing 2 feet away? If all the burners needed service why didn't HE clean them? The tech also asked if I had a humidifier. I replied no. Then he said even if you don't have one, the flames will be orange and uneven. The owner hung up on my husband when I transferred the phone to him. My husband tried to call back with no resolve. The owner never called back. Next time I will get a recommendation for a reputable company. Because if you are dissatisfied with this company the owner is very defensive and does not want to hear your complaint. Even if you disagree with the customer, you can do it in a professional, kind way. The owner just responded. when I called I said that I had three appliances that needed to be looked at. I too have a recording of all the incoming calls. There were no calls that came in after he hung up on my husband. There was also no messages left. When leaving a Yelp review I do not ever put down peoples last names for privacy reasons. As I mentioned the owner is unprofessional. I will report this breach of privacy. Also, when the owner stated that I should have spoken to his staff about the issues as they are trained on how to resolve issues I was shocked. Wouldn't the owner know how to resolve issues? It is his company. Now, I do understand why he has the staff speak with unsatisfied consumers. He is not professionally equipped to resolve issues. He just escalates the matter worse. I did contact yelp. They have removed the unprofessional review from the owner. I also contacted another agency as my full name was posted previously for 2 hours before on his review. Also, FYI. April 2024: Refrigerator repair technician to repair condensate leak. Had to come out twice. Each time he moved the frig into the island and each time the frig door was dented. First time Dynamic was notified via "reviews" second time technician was advised prior to beginning work; he began by moving frig out and into island resulting in a second dent. Dynamic was advised and said the damage was "cosmetic and could not be repaired". I was referred to dynamic appliance repair from a neighborhood group and could not be more disappointed! Their website specifies same day or next day service, it was a week until a technician could come out. He arrived, was very nice agreed with what we thought the problem was and ordered parts. He'd be back in 2 days. He comes back, installs part, problem not fixed. Needs to replace next part that broke while trying to use it with original broken part. Note: I'm 6 hours into technician waiting at this point. We can't meet in 2 days, we have other things going on in life. We schedule for the following Monday, wait 3 more hours. Comes with new part. Still not fixed. Will call 2 days later. 3 days later no call, no note, nothing. We're now 3 weeks into no cold water to our kitchen as we have to keep it off due to fridge leak. That means only bottled drinking water and no ice. And no cold sink water to wash hands or do anything. Call the office and talk to Scott. Scott is less than pleasant, tells me the delays been with a back ordered part. I tell him this is the first I'm hearing and he says he doesn't know he's just reading notes. Each time I pressed the water dispenser in the door of my refrigerator, water came out, but it also sent a spurt of water at the bottom of the freezer area, wetting my floor. Dynamic Appliance Repair arranged a convenient time to see the problem, and when Kyle came, he knew at once what the problem was--a break in the plastic tubing. He was prepared to replace the tubing and in a very short while he did so. The water dispenser worked, and the charge was fair.
