Then proceeds to draft an estimate for a nitrogen pressurized test and a full refrigerant refill. I would have had no issues paying for the test if the technician proved my refrigerant was low/empty and confirmed evidence of a leak. Essentially this company wanted me to pay $1200+ worth of tests/refrigerant without any real discernible proof that a leak was actually my problem or if my refrigerant was low/empty. Also the technician came off a bit defensive which made very suspicions of his honesty regarding the work. This service call felt more like a sales pitch an actual diagnostic exam of my issue. Originally I had high hopes for this company and found it very appealing that they are a family owned business. However they seem to operate more like they are owned by an private equity firm that wants to extract as much cash out of me before they actually fix the problem. I'm very disappointing and would not recommend.

I got an opinion from George. He said "Why get the Cadillac when the Toyota will do?" and gave us an estimate half the size for a system rated only one point lower by Consumer Reports. Then he came out and said we should see how it does for the rest of the summer, since it was still cooling. This week he came back to evaluate it again. I was ready to spring for a new system. It wouldn't have taken more than a word from him for me to sign the check. But he was hesitant. Gave me the low down on how big companies want to prematurely replace working systems. "They're all about the installs." He recommended I run it until it quits. I hope he stays in business for as long as I live in this house!

Thus, I have been using them for years and they are the best! They are honest, do a fantastic job and are very easy to work with. Their entire team starting with Kelly who does the scheduling, Erion, Mirim and Leo are absolutely the greatest! I had a hard job for them and "pestered" Kelly, whom I never met, for quite a while. She was always gracious and helpful. Today, Mirim and Leo did the job that I doubt is anyone's favorite. They never complained and did it expertly and efficiently in about two and a half hours. We set a date and the morning of that date. I received a text saying the three technicians were on their way. Names and pictures of the three technicians reported that text they came one time removed the old equipment cleaning up as they went. And installed the new equipment. Walked me through the operation of this equipment. They left my house cleaner than it had been before they came. I cannot recommend highly enough this company. Friendly, professional, quick service. After installing a new blower motor on 1/9, Jacob and Emanuel assessed, it was not the motor, then proceeded to order a motor module. After installing the module on 1/19, the heat was good to go.
