They gave us the "carfax" (a different car report company that gives you the same amount of juicy details), negotiated for replacing a mirror in the car I ended up picking, stayed late to assist us in our decision, and followed up with us. On top of that, they honored the verbal trade-in value for my previous car. This location does not have the classic car collection of Gulf to Bay- definitely more modern cars, some luxury, some muscle, some SUVs. But it was within my price range, after the trade in. The two cars I narrowed down to were both sellihg at their Kelley Blue Book value- what a wonderful surprise! They did not talk down to me as a woman, kept me in the loop, and were straight talkers. I showed up just before dusk and walked the whole lot without being pressured or bothered. After I found the vehicles I was there to see I asked to test drive the one I thought was the best fit. I was allowed to test drive the vehicle like at any other lot I've been to. I had read reviews about people not being allowed to test drive vehicles at this lot, I didn't experience that. After test driving I asked for the total price out the door after taxes and tag transfer. The total was a little more than the cash I had allocated to spend. I told them and they worked with me on that. I left with a good deal on a decent car. I'm well aware the engine could blow up tomorrow. It's a used car and that's a gamble no matter where you buy. The 5 star review is for the simplicity of the process and the respectfulness of the staff.

The machine that took my credit card did not give me a receipt, which was a little frustrating because I prefer receipts when I use my credit card. After charging me, the machine told me to go inside for a receipt, which I suppose I could have done, but I chose not to (and I shouldn't have to). I opted for the least expensive economy wash, which did a decent job. There were a few small spots that didn't get clean, but that was to be expected from an automated wash (especially since I opted for the least expensive option). I would use this car wash again.

Most of the dealers I spoke to where so cheesy and fake my BS-ometer was just going off every time I saw through their act. I don't like to judge people because you never know what they are going through. Until today, I never thought I'd be judged or made to feel less than because I'm disabled but shopping for a car today it happened. One very ballsy person had the nerve to say if I wanted the car I had to bring half the total $5000 price even though my accepted app had a price calculator that said $900 down would be $81 monthly payments. Besides feeling awkward since no one's ever been so obviously hateful or treated me like I am less than them, I just felt sad and then I was FURIOUS. I said I would get back to her and promptly blocked that tacky saleswoman on my cell. Keep treating people like that and you won't be selling cars for long! That's when Yancar and Son's Auto Sales called. I wasn't very pleasant at first but then he asked what I was looking for and for the first time all day, SOMEONE was listening to me! He didn't hide his skepticism about what I could afford or my income. BUT WHAT HE DID DO: looked through his inventory and found the type of car I had been asking for from salespeople all day!!! He asked me what I could afford and he didn't try to upsell me. He said now look, I am willing to work with you and if you want this car and are sure you can make the payments, come on in tomorrow at 10:30. It's nothing fancy but it's a good car with good mileage. I took a list of people as references and had already got insurance quotes when I walked in. He showed me my car and it was just what i wanted. By the way, take cash or if they take checks, write one out because I had a bank card I couldn't use but I gladly went over to the bank and brought back down payment. Oh and they do the tax/title and plate there so you don't have to go wait at the DMV for hours! When I was leaving I thanked them for working with me. I am so excited to have a car now! I am going to take everyone I know who may be looking to buy a car to them because I know I was scared of getting ripped off and it was such a nice experience! A lot of these dealerships see some people coming and prejudge and this isn't that kind of place. I'm sure if you have big bucks they will find what you want but if you don't have big bucks they will see if they have what you're looking to buy. These guys know the questions to ask people to help them figure out what they want to buy. And if you need any information on insurance they have some contacts that can give you quotes. My experience at this business was a positive one and I am glad I answered the phone when they returned my call after the day of car sales hell I had!! I really didn't want to go but so glad I did. I know that this is where I will come to buy a car or get maintenance done. I didn't think I would find a place willing to work with me to give me a second chance. I hope this review puts the idea into your head to stop by and see what they have to offer. I think you will be pleasantly surprised! They can find a car that fits your budget like they did for me.
