After reading the reviews I was excited to find a well rated local barber shop. Disappointed…read moredoesn't even begin to cover it. The "barber" seemed affable enough. Asked what I wanted and got to work. We got into conversation as he cut my hair. Found out halfway through that he was cutting hair in his dad's chair while pops was out of town. Is currently still IN barber school and doesn't have his certification yet. That's when I knew this probably wouldn't end well. Took a look when he showed me his work. Asked for a bit more off the top thinking it might look somewhat better and closer to what I was looking for. He didn't offer a second loon after the adjustment if asked for. Just took off the smock and said it would be $30. At that point, I immediately put my hat back on and paid so I wouldn't have to listen to him complain about his family life any longer, and left. Got home to see what was actually happening on my head and, well, it ain't pretty. I am now about to pull my own clippers out and attempt to fix this nightmare. This was just MY experience and is probably a one-off since there were no other barbers working. So I wouldn't completely write this barber shop off, but make sure when you go that you check your barber's credentials so you don't end up with a situation like mine.

I saw him do an excellent job with a young boy about 6-8 with a mother he did a great job keeping the little guy happy. He gave a great haircut and even was skilled at his straight razor skills putting a part and cleaning up the little guys neck. He great conversations skills and made the young many feel good.
