Once we decided on chicken with broccoli. I waited a few moments before putting in my take out order. They were certainly busy with the wait staff running around crazy. I put in the order, paid and grabbed a seat to wait. The wait was short as the owner came forward with my order. She announced "beef with chicken". I shook my head and said I ordered chicken. She quickly made a u turn for the kitchen to correct the order. Five more minutes wait and then she came out with the new order. The slight boo boo was not a big issue. I'm glad she made an order announcement before I left the restaurant. The meal was great; succulent chicken, well cooked broccoli with carrot slices. A box of white rice comes with it. We've always had a hard time finding good Asian takeout near us, so we were excited when we discovered Dynasty. They've been consistently good every time we've ordered. We've dined in once, but we usually do takeout. My son loves the crab puffs, so we almost always order those along with the vegetable rolls. One thing we all agree on is the garlic noodles. Be prepared because they are heavy on the garlic, which is exactly why we love them! I usually order the Szechuan Garlic Shrimp because apparently I can never have enough garlic. My husband likes the Mongolian beef, my son always gets the orange chicken, and we all share the mixed vegetable fried rice. I've also tried both the egg drop soup and the hot and sour soup. I ordered takeout from Dynasty last night and it was quite good! I ordered the steamed potstickers and an order of sesame chicken. The ordering process was simple through their website. I was even able to pay on there, making pickup super simple. Though I did not dine inside the restaurant, it seemed really comfortable and cute inside. My food was still hot by the time I made it home. I do wish the website was a bit more descriptive, as I'm not certain if they were pork or chicken potstickers. We had the Egg Foo Young which are always delicious. They are big and plentiful. The Shrimp and Chinese vegetables from the healthy menu have a delicious light sauce. I ordered the Chicken and Vegetable lunch special and my Mom had her favorite, Sesame Chicken. Portions were a generous size and we both ended up taking a box home with some of our food for later, which my son happily ate. We were literally the only ones in there at 1:00pm. We were not welcomed, there was an eyeball roll from our server when we needed an extra minute to look at the menu. My dish came loaded with the one thing i said to omit. Our server ( perhaps the owner) acted like i was treating her as she would steal the cash and not give me the correct change back when we paid our check. We were asking her what fried rice or noodles she recommended. She mentioned the Garlic Noodles so we picked that because edit sounded good and the Mongolian Beef and Sesame Chicken with jasmine rice. Mongolian Beef: was 10/10. It was very flavorful and the beef was tender! Delicious! The veggies tasted great and the dish had just a hint of spice. My sister said it was the best she's ever had. Sesame Chicken: also a 10/10! I really liked this one! The chicken had a little bit of a crisp to it and the chicken was so good and moist! This was my favorite. Garlic Noodles: pretty light on flavor or garlic. Was not bad. My sister reheated our leftovers of this with some butter and it was great. We will probably try one of the fried rices the lady recommended next time. Restaurant: extremely friendly front staff. We have been going to Dynasty for 10 years now. When we first moved to Cave Creek, we enjoyed going and sampling their menu which had several 'sub' categories of Asian food. Then it seemed to go downhill and we stopped going. Several years later we tried them again with take out and what a mistake. Ordered Lemon Chicken and Orange Chicken to go. Were basically the SAME breaded Chicken except for the sauce on the side with NO vegetables or any thing else. Then we saw threads of where people were trying it again. We gave it a few months to make sure it was consistently getting good reviews. When we finally decided to try it again, we were NOT DISAPPOINTED!!! I have avoided going to this restaurant for months as each time I ate their food I had stomach issues. Tonight we decided to try again and I ordered sweet and sour chicken. A couple of bites in I realized that the chicken was badly spoiled and to eat it was a health risk. We called the restaurant and suggested that perhaps they stop serving it tonight. Not sure why the man behind the bar went out of his way to make sure I was made to feel like crap on Christmas Eve have you. From the moment I got there he started screaming at me about how long it to would take and I could not have been more chill and let him know I was fine and understood it was late on Christmas. My food was not cooked which sorry but not my fault but no one wants to eat uncooked noodles - so he was pissed that they had to remake it. Again not my fault. They offer many of your usual Chinese-American favorites and some dishes that you rarely see at these kinds of restaurants. We had to start off with the CRISPY BRUSSELS SPROUTS! They were crispy and seemed free of oil and were very tasty. They also gave us a very large portion and we took some home. I wanted to order the BLACK TRUFFLE fried rice but they didn't have truffle today......I was told they'd have truffles tomorrow. They also offer a TRUFFLE FILET MIGNON on the menu. I ordered the Szechwan garlic chicken. The chicken was masterfully moist and this dish had a nice heat level to it. For my taste it did run on the sweet side but it was flavorful. My husband tried the kung pao with chicken, beef, and shrimp. All the meats were cooked perfect and were nice and tender. This dish was also flavorful with a nice heat. It also ran on the sweeter side. The portions were large. The service was amazing! At the time of my visit they don't have a sign on the building for Dynasty. We stopped in for a weekday lunch just after 11 AM. Surprisingly, there were a few people already there. The sign out front says grand opening coming soon but it was open. We both ordered weekday lunch specials. My wife ordered the shrimp and veggies and I had the Kung pow chicken. The server said that they weren't serving hot and sour soup in the summer but we could have it anyway. It was delicious. When our orders came, my wife got chicken and veggies rather than the shrimp and veggies. She mentioned that to the server and he took it back to get what she really ordered. My Kung Pow chicken was delicious. It came with a spring roll, crab puff and rice. After a bit, my wife's shrimp dish arrived. There were 6 good sized shrimp and she thought the dish was really good. Dynasty has work to do. Our server was running around like crazy and we had a hard time getting decent service. And of course he messed up one of our orders. The bill for two daily specials with tip was over $32. That seemed a bit high for Chinese lunch specials.
