Finally! Finally! A good Chinese restaurant with prices that are "normal and fair". So tired of paying 2-3x at Jade Palace as we all aid at Dynasty. But more importantly the food was so tasty and genuinely Chinese. As usual I ordered way to much (I take it home) but ALL the dishes were tasty. My 20 something kids loved it as well. We have tried many Chinese restaurants in the North Phoenix area, and Dynasty continues to be the best. The food is authentic, traditional Chinese fare. Dynasty also has a full service bar. Francis, the owner, is well known from his days at Jade Palace. For those who don't live in Desert Ridge, Cave Creek or Tatum Ranch, delivery is easy using most food service delivery apps. read more

I'm really disappointed that I spent $50 on takeout for this place tonight! The egg roll was the worst I have ever had. The hot and sour soup was gelatinous, just gross texture. The crab ragoons were the best part of the meal! The shrimp egg foo young was ok, definitely have had better! I love Chinese food and was excited, but that was a short excitement. We had a wonderful dinner experience here tonight, 3/18/23. My wife enjoyed a freshly prepared lemon drop from the bar...sugar rim and mixed to perfection. Two appetizers were quickly delivered as well. The crab puffs were light and delicious. Our entrees came out quickly, and were flavorful, hot, and delicious. All of the reviews we read are accurate. Great service as well, attentive but not hovering. My wife enjoyed fried rice and veggie tofu, while my chicken chow mein was noodly goodness at its best. When you get an egg roll, you expect some grease. Yet, if done right, the exterior is nice and crispy without a lot of residual on your hands or the plate. The New York egg rolls is a giant, yet it was large on grease and small on taste. I should clarify this was a takeout order, and the food had sat for a while. I only ate half, as the flavor didn't make me want to consume something I already know is not good for me! The pork egg fu yung was good with a nice brown sauce full of pork and vegetables. The shrimp fried rice was decent with several full-size shrimp included - a nice surprise. Yet overall, the egg roll experience was really bad, thus only 3 stars. read more

Mongolian Beef, should be named Mongolian Onions. We had a delivery for New Year's Eve and I was not impressed. Tasted just okay but as you can see from the picture, it was mostly onion. Just could not eat them all, way overwhelming (still tasting it this morning). "Where's the Beef!" If we ever order from here again it will be a long while. Tried Dynasty for the first time. I recommend removing the Dy from the name and just leaving it at Nasty. The food was terrible and not edible. Left the entire meal after just a few bites. The proprietor asked what was wrong with the food and I told him it was terrible. He offered to replace it. No thank you. The food was not fresh, reheated and funky tasting. Worst rice I have EVER tasted. Not a single customer in the place when we entered at lunchtime. That should have been my cue to turn around and leave. Proprietor did not offer to deduct the uneaten meals or even discount it. I have to rate this place as the worst place I've eaten in Cave Creek. read more

We have been to Dynasty several times now and are very pleased with the ambiance, food and service. The staff seems to never stop moving yet is very attentive without being an interruption. The menu is full of good selections. i always wind up withe the shrimp chow fun because i love the rice noodles. Barb, my wife, does get a variety of dishes, usually with multiple different meats and its all delicious. We also start with a cup of wor wonton soup where there is plenty of vegetables and two plump wontons per cup at least. We frequently pass up a Chinese restaurant a mile from our home, which is a good restaurant, in favor of the drive to Dynasty. it is worth the extra time and gas. Highly recommend. read more

I've been twice now in the last month and have tried a variety of options. Egg drop soup is great and their chicken with mixed veggies is simple but big in flavor. Dynasty has worked out most of their kinks as a new restaurant. Food is amazing; service is excellent as the owner is always around to take care of everything. Their beef dishes are so tender and yummy. The soy sauce egg noodle similar to the ones served at dim sum places is spot on. My new favorite is the mu shu pork (Chinese burrito). Our favorite place for dine-in or takeout! Locally owned, great lunch specials, draft beer, and wine selection. Our go-to dishes are crispy calamari, kung pao shrimp, and Szechuan garlic shrimp but everything we've had there has been delicious. The good- online ordering for carry out was easy, food was prepared and ready when I arrived (albeit about 10 minutes before they quoted - glad I was early). The person was pleasant and helpful. The rest- 4 meals (2x - Veggie Lo Mein, 1x Sweet and Sour Pork, 1x General Tso Chicken), 2x - veg spring roll, 2x Crispy Dumpling - they were VERY soggy. To quote nearly everyone, there was nothing wrong with it / it wasn't the worst Chinese food we have had....but it wasn't great either. All of the food was serviceable and at its base was what we ordered but the flavor was lacking, just missing something. I told the proprietor that I couldn't eat it. it was so salty. They seem not to care. Chicken linguine looked like someone just tossed their cookies. Nothing was defined and again terribly salty. Excellent service, excellent food, and brand new! I came here seeking somewhere new to try. I have found a new diamond in northern phoenix! I tried the black pepper filet mignon which is one of the more expensive items on the menu but WOW was it the most tastiest steak I have ever had! It was extremely tender and could be cut with a fork if you wanted. Its served on a sizzling platter and it was VERY lean. Not one bit of fat! I also ordered the wonton soup cup which was full of vegetables and homemade dumplings. I forgot to take a picture of that. I also like how the hot tea is served in a big mug and a big pot. I absolutely love my hot tea even when its over 100 degrees outside. It is very dark with lots of flavor. Five of us came for dinner, and it was spectacular! The kitchen was humming and it was busy on a Wednesday, which is always a good sign. Coconut shrimp, steamed dumplings, vegetable spring rolls, and egg rolls were all hot and tasty. The sauce on the shrimp was particularly delicious. We had a range of entrées, including BBQ pork, orange chicken, roast duck, and vegetable fried rice. The highlight was the pork, for sure. Every entrée was great, though. read more

Food was good I am in love with the bbq pork fried rice it was cooked perfect. Egg rolls were good and so was the sweet and sour chicken. You would think after spending thousands of dollars there, averaging once or twice a week for the past 2 to 3 years, That there would be a glimmer of recognition, welcome, or just a smile. We ordered take out consisting of one order of orange chicken, one order of general tso, & one order of veggie rolls. Very standard order for take out at a Chinese restaurant that has four stars. I didn't expect anything mind-blowing, just some solid Chinese take out. Upon first bite, I knew something was off. The spring rolls were SLIMEY on the inside & tasted like they were half rotted. I took one bite & threw it away. Then I moved onto my general tso. It was soggy, no spice whatsoever & the chicken meat itself tasted very sour. I kinda brushed it off as the sauce maybe seeped thru bec I was hungry, but I ate about 10 bites & realized it was just REALLY BAD QUALITY meat. My partner got the orange chicken & he barely ate any before we threw it ALL AWAY. I've literally never done that before, but this food was essentially spoiled. Fast forward 3 hours later & we are both experiencing intestinal distress. I will literally never eat here again & will absolutely tell anyone who asks, exactly why.
