My takeout order has been incorrect on numerous occasions. Tonight it was made incorrectly and missing the sauce despite confirming the order over the phone. I was asked to bring it back and to check to be sure it was made correctly when picking it up. Though it was remade correctly, it didn't taste the same. I don't think we'll be returning. read more

Having just moved to Cave Creek and after a day of unpacking we wanted to order take out dinner and called Dynasty. I ordered the Hot Sour soup which was one of the best I've enjoyed in some time. My wife ordered Orange chicken and asked that it be spiced up to cut the sweetness, the chicken was moist and tender, served with white rice, although it could have been spicier for her taste it was good. I ordered the bbq pork lo mein, the pork was tender and tasty with balanced spiciness, the noodles and veggies were cooked perfectly. Both entrees were generous portions, enough that we had plenty for a quick reheat lunch the next day. In picking up our order Francis introduced himself to me as the owner and wanted to ensure that our order was correct and thanked me for our business. We were seated promptly, no one was there. We ordered our food and one dish was the wrong order. There was no effort to correct it. We asked for chop sticks and the (maybe owner) opened them with and rubbed them together with hands (after he handled credit cards and money from other people, eww!) The food is so good! I don't know about you, but I hate soggy Chinese food. By that I mean fried meat already dressed in the sauce before it arrives. This place does sauce on the side for take out. The food is average at best. This restaurant started out pretty good. The new owners were very vocal, unkind and critical of the last but we took that as them simply wanting to express pride in their new restaurant and their cuisine. The restaurant has really gone downhill over the last six months. The dishes have less and less meat are more and more bland and the ownership seems to have been overcome by greed increasing prices significantly in addition to the reduction in food quality. I know times are tough and every business has a bad day but... We employed the three strikes rule, when we had our third bad experience we have decided not to go back. I can't in good conscious recommend Dynasty. I can't think of a positive and encouraging thing to say about it other than their dining room seems to be pretty clean. We could really use a good Chinese restaurant in the Carefree/Cave Creel/North Scottsdale area! read more

Stopped in for dinner tonight with my boyfriend after driving by many times. We ordered the crab rangoons, vegetable rolls, hot and sour soup, wonton soup, sweet and sour chicken and the chicken lo mein. We are pretty picky when it comes to food and everything we had was incredible. The portions are very generous and we have more than enough food leftover for 2 more meals at least. The staff was so welcoming and very friendly. They went above and beyond for service. We will definitely be back and have found our new favourite chinese food place! read more

CC has long been lacking a good neighborhood Chinese place forever. The "other" spots struggle to make consistent and quality dishes. But, this recent gem is a dependable place to get the kind of to-go food that satisfies a Chinese food craving. Interestingly, when we recently ordered Orange Beef to-go, it was packaged up in a deconstructed manner, as thensauce was in its own container. The beef stayed crispy in its own container, too, but it worked out well because we tossed it all together on a hot saucepan at home. Definitely an extra step that might not be appealing to some, but we liked it because it came off the saucepan piping hot. read more

We tried this tonight for a wrap on the weekend. We wanted to love it however we were very disappointed. The egg drop soup was excellent to be fair! The NY egg roll was ok, overall it was mushy. The double flavored shrimp was not ideal. The walnut shrimp was so breaded, soggy and tasted like orange juice. The other style shrimp tasted like it had gone bad and also smelled like it had turned unfortunately, so I tossed the whole entree. We subbed out white for brown rice on the Yang Chow fried rice, and the brown rice tasted like millet and was extremely dry. The Szechuan chicken was wildly unremarkable, we ended up tossing that as well. Hopefully it was just a one off night, we ordered based on all the positive reviews! read more

First time but not the last. Went for lunch. Won ton soup had great, clear broth with large dumplings. Large portion of excellent pork fried rice - had leftovers for dinner. Service was fast and efficient without being obtrusive. Although tables and booths are somewhat close together, never felt like you were part of someone else's conversation. It was all very good. Our kids loved all of it. The service was awesome. They sat us right away and took great care of us. We tried this restaurant and liked it very much. The food was great. I ordered the eggplant. It was delicious. My husband and I ordered three different dishes and could not finish the generous amount. It was so yummy the next day. We were also surprised at the bill. Very reasonable. The service was fast and friendly.Sue was our waitress and made us fell welcome as soon as we stepped into the restaurant. The restaurant itself was clean with a full bar and low background music. Stopped in on Saturday night and found a nice atmosphere with a good crowd. The lychee craft cocktail was inventive, and the sake was on point. Tried the pork rolls which were fine, but not too special. Also ordered the Mongolian beef and crispy pork. Each were prepared well and there was enough for the next day. Wow! The new owners have transformed this place. Once very dark, the atmosphere has been greatly improved by opening it up and letting the light in. The bar has also been updated with a good selection of draught beers including Sapporo and some locals, plus a full complement of wine and spirits. Francis was an energetic personable server and did a nice job wrapping the moo shu pork at the table. He made us feel very welcome. Most importantly, the food was excellent. Everything we had was perfectly cooked. Fried items were crispy, not greasy. Spices were spot on and flavorful. I was very excited to discover the change at a location we had forgotten.
