Yummy ... is the word that first comes to mind when I think of Lings Wok Shop! There are so many yummy things to choose from. I had the blazing Kung Pao chicken bowl, full of chicken, broccoli, red onions, red bell peppers, rice and a very tasty kung pao sauce. The sever was very friendly, and it wasn't a long wait for my to go order. There is a very nice open patio so you can eat in or outdoors. There is plenty to choose from, with a menu that incudes bowls, soups, salads ,full dinners and noodles. They also have happy hour specials!

I am so glad that I found Ling's while waiting for my car to charge! The service was super friendly, prices were not too expensive, and the food was delicious! I let the guy at rhe counter know that I was looking for a dish with vegetables and he recommended one of their signature dishes that came with not only that, but chicken topped with chopped peanuts. Despite the rain I decided to check out their spacious patio that managed to have a few dry spots. I waited for my food, which did not take long to come out and it was pipping hot. Every bite of my dish had hints of sweetness and savory sauce. I like that it came with fluffy Jazmine rice which complemented the sauce and other ingredients well. It did have vegetables, but I just wish it had a few more, especially broccoli. When I am in the North Scottsdale area this will be my spot.

We really enjoyed our dinner here! The happy hour specials are great - the cauliflower was amazing as advertised and lettuce wraps were good too. My husband got the orange chicken which he loved - we liked how it was more natural and not drowning in orange syrup like typical places. I also got a shrimp stir fry that was good too. We both loved the jasmine rice - for some reason it just was cooked perfectly. Service was nice, was more casual than we anticipated but we enjoyed. Would come back!

I had been to Ling's Wok Shop before it and loved it but last week was disappointed with our order to say the least. My fiancé and I ordered for pickup on Uber Eats. We called before we ordered and asked if there were any peanuts in the Dan Dan Noodz, since my fiancé has a peanut allergy. They assured us there were no peanuts, so we went ahead and ordered two orders of Dan Dan Noodz. My fiancé began eating before I opened up my container, and to my surprise, I realized he had eaten heaping forkfuls of not Dan Dan Noodz but Pad Thai. He has avoided peanuts his entire life, so naturally, he was unaware until I caught sight of his meal. We then had to rush to urgent care. Sadly disappointed in Ling's Wok Shop, and will not eat there again--not worth risking another allergic reaction. :(

We revisited after some disappointing visits. We had a good time and the meal was great. It took a bit of time to get our order considering there were only two other groups in the restaurant. But, our food was nice and hot!! Both were tasty as we remembered and no issues with over salting the food!!

My family and I recently dinned here and had a great time. The servers were very friendly and helpful, we also enjoyed the overall ambiance of the dinning space. While there we ordered the Korean cauliflower and it tasted great. As someone who doesn't like cauliflower I thoroughly enjoyed it as it tasted more like chicken and aioli sauce. We also all happened to order the same meal, Kung Pao, in various forms. I got the beef and my family got the chicken and tofu. We all loved our versions and I highly recommend you try it out. I preferred the beef but everyone has their own preferences.

so tasty! My husband has celiac and so we are always looking for new gluten free restaurants. This did not disappoint! It was so yummy. We drove 45 minutes from where we live and it was worth it for us. The service was great, the restaurant was clean, and most important- the food was delicious! We started with the Korean cauliflower and it was SO good. I would come back for this alone. Then we got the mandarin chicken and the buddhas belly with tofu. The mandarin chicken was so yummy and so crispy. I could not believe it was gluten free. My husband enjoyed his dish as well. We will definitely be back here!

Honestly, this place wasn't great. The atmosphere was vibrant but the concept was confusing-- counter order during lunch and full-service at night. The staff seemed very flustered and it took a while to receive our dishes. The only good food dish was the Lettuce Wraps, everything else was mediocre. The Pad Thai specifically was very watery. The owner didn't seem to care when we told him about our experience, he just kept citing his restaurant experience. We won't be back.

YUM! This was my first time here. I had the Spicy Thai Basil Chicken. Delicious and has a great kick. The young man who took my order made the recommendation and was knowledgeable about the menu. Gluten free options are clearly labeled, too. Tables and booths were clean. The woman bussing tables was very attentive and sweet :) Will be back.

We went on Father's Day and there was a special where dads ate free - love that promotion! We didn't find out until it was too late to make a reservation so we sat outside. The inside is quite small, there are maybe 8 tables total some of which are just two tops. The outside is not ideal for summer - the shade only goes halfway down and only in a few parts of the perimeter. There are only two misters and on opposite sides of the patio. If you go for dinner, like 5:45-7pm, there is sun everywhere. There was a little breeze so it was fine enough but definitely sweating a little. I had the mandarin chicken and it was the first time I've been able to have a crispy orange chicken dish that's gluten free, so I very much appreciated it! There was a good amount of chicken. It was a sweeter dish so some more umami would've been nice but overall I enjoyed my food. My parents both got the miso salmon. My mom liked it more than my dad but my dad is a harsh critic. I tried a bite and thought it had good flavor. My sister got the spicy Thai basil dish with tofu - I tried it.... Way too spicy for me. My sister likes spicy and thought it was the perfect spice at first but then had to stop eating it half way through because it got too spicy! But she enjoyed it overall. The service was a little slow but maybe we noticed it more because we were a little hot. Friendly staff though! Overall, the food was pretty good and if we were inside I think the experience would have been more enjoyable - and that's on us for not having a reservation!

Excellent high quality restaurant nearby our hotel. Dropped in yesterday afternoon and was delighted with the customer service and options. However I will warn diners that we were not warned how spicy our orders were beforehand. My Dan Dan noodles was delicious but a bit spicy for me and I wasn't able to finish it. The same for my spouse's choice of Thai Chicken dish and he is Latino and can handle spicy food! So enjoy but know that I assume it is all spicy!

Wow our meal was Fabulous!! 95% ish of menu is gluten free. We had Vietnamese Summer Rolls with peanut sauce to share, Shrimp Honey Walnut with Jasmine rice & spicy Thai Basil with Chicken & brown rice. So so delicious. Service was awesome and very fast.

I walked in last night, first time, and the MUSIC WAS EXTREMELY LOUD! Not my gig, so I moved on to something below 120 decibels. Is this place always like this?

Not sure what time you went in, but we have never experienced that when we go during happy hour, 3-7pm. We usually sit at the bar or outside and have never had a problem with the music and being able to talk and hear each other.

It's close to the house, easy for a laid-back lunch, and one of those places you end up recommending without even thinking about it. I've worked my way through most of the menu at this point, and I honestly can't remember a single miss. The food is consistently fresh, full of flavor, and cooked the way it should be. No shortcuts, no off days. I usually land on the crispy rice clay pot, which has that perfect mix of texture and depth. My wife goes straight for the lemongrass rice plate every time and doesn't even consider switching it up. That alone tells you something. We almost always start with a couple orders of spring rolls. Mix it up depending on the mood. They're light, fresh, and a good way to ease into the meal without overthinking it. The place itself is on the smaller side, but that's part of the charm. It feels relaxed, not cramped. Clean every time we've been in, which is something I notice more than I probably should. Service hits that sweet spot too. Attentive, friendly, but they're not hovering over your shoulder while you're trying to eat. Prices are more than fair for what you're getting, especially considering how consistent everything is. If you're anywhere near Scottsdale and want Vietnamese that just gets it right without making a big show of it, this is an easy choice. Chicken Pad Thai (no tofu): 5/5 This one is the reason you come back. Perfect comfort balance of sweet/savory, chewy noodles that don't go weird in a takeout box, and solid chicken in every bite. If pad thai is your go-to order, this is a very safe (and very happy) decision. Pad See Ieww: 3.5/5 Not bad at all--still hits that cozy, savory noodle craving--but it didn't have the same, "I need this again tomorrow" magic as the pad thai. More of a good side character than the main event. Flavor just didn't hit as well as the pad Thai. Deep Fried Veggie Rolls: 3.5/5 Sauce is definitely what makes this dish! The outside was crunchy and inside was cooked perfectly, just not what you'd expect from a veggie roll. The flavor for me wasn't as full. Pro tip: order the chili sauce! It was rather bland and some Sriracha helped. A little more gravy would have helped. I'd say stick to their rice dishes as they seem to excel in this department. Shared parking lot.

Nishikawa Ramen is a small little ramen shop decorated with anime posters from Naruto, One Piece,…read moreand Dragon Ball. There were also cute little trinkets of My Neighbor Totoro. Upon entering, we were free to seat ourselves and chose a booth by the wall. It was not busy at all and the service was quick and friendly. We started off with a large sake bomb paired with a Kirin Light ($15). We then ordered two Tonkotsu Ramens, one medium spice and one hot spice ($15.99 each). Honestly, the hot spice level did not taste spicy at all, so I would recommend going extra hot if you like spice. They also provide chili powder on the table if you want to add more spice yourself. The ramen broth itself could have used a tad more flavor. I lightly added some soy sauce to the broth which is something I often do to add a little kick. I loved all of the toppings included, from the green onions to the kikurage (wood ear mushroom). My favorite part was the pork chashu, which was really tender and delicious. I also appreciated that the ramen came with a full soft boiled egg rather than half an egg, and the egg was perfectly runny. Before leaving, we ordered their tea special that was buy one get one. We got a matcha milk tea and a cafe latte which I forgot to take a photo of. I felt like the cafe latte could have used a little more sweetness to balance it. Also, I found it neat that Nishikawa offers a rewards program, not something I see often at ramen shops. My true rating would be 4.5 due to some of the criticisms I mentioned above, but overall I still had a good experience. Thank you for serving us. Visited 5/2/26
