Two years later and we are regulars, at least twice a month. Interesting every time I go there - there seems to be a ton of regulars who dine in, and the owners call on average probably 25% of the customers by name. It seems to be an under-promoted gem in the neighborhood. We're there mostly for dinner, pretty much someone in our family has had every dish but duck. Never had a bad dish. The lunch specials are good and priced very reasonably. Support your local businesses! Go have some Kung pao and a nice cocktail. While the food here is pretty good, we did a takeout order today which they said would be ready in 10 minutes. When we arrived they told us it would be 2-3 minutes 4 separate times it was obvious they hadn't even put the order in. It was a very strange experience. It ended up taking 40 minutes 30 were spent waiting and being misled and there was no apology or accountability at all. We will this restaurant like the plague going forward. read more

We have gone here quite a few times and they are always quick and the food has always been pretty good. But the last few times we have ordered It feels as if the food has gone downhill and the taste has become non existent. I don't like to just be negative without giving it a few times but they just have really been disappointing. I really miss being able to pay a fair price and get really good food. The service has always been prompt and polite so no complaints there and we always order takeout so I do not want to speak for how the overall feel of the place is. I hope that whatever has changed with the food over the past year is my taste buds and not their food quality but I fear that with the higher cost of everything that places have been purchasing and making low quality dishes. read more

As a loyal long term customer - I was not satisfied with the response that I received questioning the $5 extra charge on my takeout order for shrimp added to my garlic noodles. There were only 2 shrimp added! I called immediately once discovered and was told that there should have been 3 added (still a small amount even for jumbo sized). When mentioned that I only received 2 in the order - was told "sorry - we will be better next time". Really - not too satisfying or customer centric. Ok. Love their food. However, recent visit: Stressed out staff. The cooks and servers apparently had issues. Had two tables with six people each were seated near us. Order the food: Sizzling soup for two that was not sizzling at all. I asked for the soup to come first, and that did no happen. The entire meal came at one time. Just a bad experience. It seems like they want to charge more just because they can't stuff the dish with half nasty onions and bok choi, or try to act like they just don't understand that you don't want veggies and you end up not being able to eat half your dinner because you didn't get what you asked for... nope! I honestly wish I could say something good and really feel bad leaving such a poor review.. But straight up everything we ordered was awful. Paying $27 for the black pepper filet mignon feels like highway robbery. It was SO watery. Just tossed together and not reduced. Absolutely was so bland. For that price... there is no excuse for that poor quality. Same deal with the orange chicken. The sauce was bland. The orange chicken / beading had zero flavor. Tasted like just fresh chicken dropped in flour and fried. No seasoning. Everyone in the house said just toss it as they wouldn't eat it later. Which is HIGHLY rare. I placed an order at 5:30 p.m. tonight to be picked up at 6:30 p.m. Our order wasn't ready until 7:45 p.m. We had multiple drivers go pick up the food only to leave because the staff didn't have our food ready. Finally, the 3rd driver waited for over 25 minutes for our food, and the staff refused to talk to him when he asked how much longer, Ubereats even tried to call the restaurant and someone there hung up on them, when we tried to call no one answered the phones. According to the driver, there were maybe 15 people in the restaurant. This is the second time we have ordered here since they changed over from JChen. This is the second time it's taken them far longer than even they quoted us for our food. We ordered fried rice, Chow Mein, a beef dish, and a chicken dish. We're local, and I want to support locals but this really makes us not want to continue to try and order here. The food is good which is why they get 2 stars, but it's not good enough to wait for as long as we had to both times. read more

While I never want to write a bad review, I am disappointed that I sent 3 letters and called twice to get a partial refund and have not heard back at all. I sent the letters in the hopes of a partial refund for the overcharge in drink, and the two horrible dishes I got the day I spent 200 bux. Frances used to be nice to me, but after not going for about 6 months, upon returning he was not nice to me. I had to pull teeth to get any little convo, then he overcharged me $15 EACH for a drink when most martinis on the menu were 10 to 12. Not sure why I got such poor treatment and an overcharge, but it was a lot of money and people should be careful! They really dont care and with that, while a few dishes were good, I wouldn't recommend based on the poor service and blowing me off. read more

My favorite dish is the crispy spicy pork but if you like calamari you must try their calamari appetizer... yum! Hello neighbors I really don't want to have bash on a restaurant but this was some of the worst Chinese food I've ever had. It was great to hear we have a new place to eat since this area has limited choices but we will sadly not return or recommend. I wish I could have something positive to say but just can't do it. My wife and I thought we'd try a few things to feel it out but obviously picked poor choices. The egg rolls were greasy and had minimal flavor, the crab puffs were burnt and her hot and sour soup was neither. The soup was broth with chili flakes and flavorless. The Sesame Chicken wasn't horrible but mostly breading. We also tried the house fried rice but unfortunately that was a swing and a miss also. As you can imagine we will not go back and can't offer a thumbs up. Final conclusion...drive North and try Pei Wei in the Summit shopping center. read more

We really liked the food from here! My husband got sweet & sour chicken, I got Szechuan beef and my mom got fried rice. We also got the crab wontons. It all was delicious and very authentic. However, they do have some serious service issues, which I hope will improve overtime. The girl taking orders on the phone did not know the menu at all. My husband had to explain to her that the wontons come in 4 or 6 count. When we arrived to pick up our order, half of it was missing. We got home to find out that our veggie fried rice didn't have any veggies in it. However, aside from these issues, we enjoyed it! First time in to Dynasty. This jewel is tucked in a corner opposite of the Safeway shopping center on N Tatum. The menu has all the basics and more. I was content with the fried dumplings and Gen Tso Chicken, which were both terrific. The staff were very attentive and the wait was not very long.
