We've owned a Dyson DC40 upright vacuum cleaner for 6 years and never had a problem. However, recently it started losing suction and shutting down unexpectedly. I took it to the Dyson Service Center and they unclogged my machine in the time I waited (about 10 minutes) - at no cost!! I was FLOORED by the amazing customer service. Beyond that, they informed me of some different options including a $75 thorough tune-up that they can perform at anytime and/or their trade-in program. Zero pressure. I might not think about writting a review for a place like this, if our experience wasn't so great. We walked in and were immediately helped. Not fill out a form, not come back tomorrow. The guy immediately started fixing it right there, replacing major components, trying it, then fixing some more. He was satisfied until the thing worked like brand new. Then the best part, it's all under warranty. I'm not even sure how he knew. I could have found the thing in a trash bin, picked it up at a garage sale. It was fixed for free. I'm one that's thought Dyson vacuums were a bit too pricey, but I'm a convert. I won't buy anything else from now on. read more

What a great experience I had here today. Both my Dysons are injured so I called Customer Care and they sent me an order to visit the Columbus service center. It's been hard getting there as their hours are the same as my usual workday--and I work in Easton. So I had today off and brought both in for diagnosis. I figured I'd have to drop off and then figure out a way to come back in a week or so to pick-up. NOT THE CASE! These guys had both fixed and on my way in literally 10 minutes. The cordless was just clogged so they cleaned 'er out for me. The ball had a cracked brush roller which they replaced under warranty. No charge; in and out quickly; and the techs were super friendly! Awesome! Dyson customer for life! PS. They have some good deals you can buy on new Dyson products right there in their workshop/showroom which was good to know. PPS. This would be a 5 star rating if they had extended evening or Saturday hours. read more

Wow am I glad I found them! My 12 year old Dyson was not working so well and I thought I had to get a new one. I took it into the service center thinking I was leaving it there either for two weeks or forever. There were two amazing guys there. One tested my Dyson and came back two minutes later to say he could have my Dyson fixed in 10 minutes. All I had to do was keep up on cleaning the filter, which I had not been doing. Whoops. A small plastic piece broke on my vacuum so the dust bag unit wouldn't stay on the machine. I thought the warranty was up a while ago. I went to the store and the man looked it up on his computer, found it was still in warranty, found my part, installed it, and I was out in 10 minutes ready to go home and vacuum. Our first Dyson Service Center experience was several months ago in Schaumburg, IL. Wonderful store. Great technician who helped us decide to trade in our daughter's older model and treat her to a new one. Totally great experience. Hence, when we discussed a second Dyson for our home in Marietta, Ohio, we sought out a Dyson Center. Over a two hour drive but worth it. Trent Kanode was taking care of another customer as we poked around the many models on display. And talked with that customer. He then helped us decide about a new vac for us and gave our existing one a once over inspection. Could not be happier. Worth every mile of the drive. And a fine knowledgeable technician. Went in today with a dead motor. I'm not under warranty any longer (boo), so I had to pay for the fix. Jeff and Laura were friendly, quick and knowledgeable. Wow! Service was excellent, much better than I expected. The gentleman came to my car and loaded and unloaded my Dyson DC65. He also quickly repaired it and now it works perfectly. I called the 800 number at Dyson and they referred me to this service center. I had no ideal that it was conveniently located on Roberts Road near 270 and was 2 miles away. My Dyson was under warranty so all repairs were complimentary. This is my 4th Dyson, and I'm amazed how they can quickly be repaired and as good as new. read more

Wow! Great Service!! My vacuum was having issues where there was no suction for the hand tool. Trent checked to see if my vacuum was registered and it wasn't and he quickly registered for me. It turns out I was out of warranty for about a year. Trent took the vacuum back and checked it out and repaired it in less than 10 minutes with no charge. Awesome customer survive. Fabulous customer service and even better product knowledge!! This place is awesome! I know that sounds funny to say about a Dyson Service Center, but its true. My main floor Dyson (yes, I have one for each floor) was shorting out after a certain amount of time, like it was overheating. I took it in here thinking it could be something major and I'd need a new one. The technician took one look at it, pulled a filthy filter (that I didn't even know was there) out of the canister, replaced it with a new one and said I was good to go! I will never go any place else with my Dysons. And if I ever need another one, this will be where I go to get it (mostly so he can show me where all the filters are, right?) My GPS took my right to the location. You just have to drive around all of the buildings to find the place. It wasn't too difficult. And absolutely worth the effort!! read more

Took my Dyson to this center for a simple repair and to see if this center would clean it thoroughly. When the unit was dropped off, we were told we would not get a receipt as they didn't provide them. In other words, there was no way to prove they had our machine. They promised to call next day. No call came by the afternoon, so we visited again. They hadn't looked at it, but promised to call the following day. Still no word. Three days later, they still hadn't called, so I went again to pick up the unit. Because there was no receipt, it took them a bit to find the machine. I brought it home and fixed the issue myself in ten minutes. Ridiculous. Don't go here. read more

I had no idea that Dyson had a service center and showroom within a few miles of my home until I found this location online this morning. My mother's Dyson was making a horrible sound and not functioning properly. Moments ago I took the vacuum to the Dyson Service Center and was greeted at the door by a very friendly and professional man. Within the first minute he determined that the problem was with the belt and missing teeth. He replaced the belt immediately. I was in the service center for less than 5 minutes and left with a perfectly functioning vacuum. The gentleman working expressed how much they love and appreciate Dyson customers as I walked out the door. Words cannot express how impressed I am by this service location and outstanding customer service! In the future I will definitely buy new Dyson products from their showroom. Best of all you can trade in your old Dyson products to receive a great discount on new products. read more

My Dyson is about 6 years old and I've trouble with it for a few weeks. The belt didn't seem to be turning the brush bar so I took it in this service center today. Turns out the bottom wasn't attached correctly (due to the last time I cleaned the brush bar) and merely needed adjusted. They even gave me a new plastic screw for the base as mine had broke off. I took it home and cleaned my home top to bottom without issue. These guys were super nice AND they did it all for free. Great Christmas present! Thank you guys! read more

Jeff who serviced my vacuum was amazing, great customer service and very efficient. It took him 5 minutes to resolve the issue. When I called the manufacturer they made a big deal about what is covered and what is not. I walked in with my dc40 not knowing why it wasn't picking up as well lately. I had watched all the you tube videos and none of them were helping. It only took them 10 minutes to fix a gasket on the switch over valve and they also showed me how to pull the inner tube out of the wand part to clear clogs. So since yelp.com existence I have only done a few reviews, both good and bad. Usually say am going to do and then end up not doing. My experience today at the Dyson service center/shop was so exceptional that I made sure I wrote a positive review. After searching online first of all was surprised the shop was so close to me as live in Dublin, OH. Just moved from San Diego and there had to drive a ways to get to any place that serviced Dysons. When I walked in both staff were servicing vacuums. The place looked like a showroom and not a service shop so was not sure if they repaired there and expected to have it sent out. I assume they would be one minute as working on vacuums. Adam came out and said, "have you been helped", said no, he said "sorry" said no problem as mind you was only like a minute that I walked in the door and viewed they were busy working on vacuums. Seemed though like Adam was not happy with his response time, but to me was as good as could be. Seems like a pattern from the other reviewers that there service is spot on! But both Jeff and Adam there were excellent. Have had a Dyson for five years now and only serviced once soon after purchased it, but this time was not sucking up anything. They immediately found the issue of the filter being clogged of which I never even knew was there under the "tube". Laughed at myself, but they said that happens all the time. In addition replaced the "tube" at no cost while I waited as was older. Thought I would have had to leave it there for some time to get fixed, but they fixed it on the spot like I was the only customer they had for the year! As I walked out there was another two customers walking in. Obviously they have something good here and I assume Dyson will start opening more service shops/stores like this. Only issue is that the place is hard to find by just looking at address on GPS as the street address is actually the street on the back end of their business complex. Just call and they will direct you right there or if not it is right across the street from the Tim Hortons gas station. Keep up the great work!! read more
