I recently went to the Dyson Service and Sales Center in Troy. I actually had no idea that this place existed and stumbled across it when I was at Xfinity next door setting up my cable and upon waiting took a walk outside and saw the location. I have everything Dyson in my home currently and truly love the products but recently my Stick vacuum starting having a terrible smell blowing out of it into my face every time I used it. I had pretty much given up on this vacuum even though I really enjoyed it, the smell was so terrible I was willing to give it up. When I went into the store a nice Man named Brandon asked Me questions about the vacuum and convinced Me that the vacuum was worth bringing in and seeing if they could clean it so it would work the way I had enjoyed it to work when I first purchased it. About a week later I brought it back and Brandon remembered Me,my story and my smelly vacuum. The vacuum was taken to the back only to come out practically looking brand new and because Brandon took the time to look up the vacuum online I was able to utilize my warranty and ended up not having to come out of pocket for the repairs. My vacuum is no longer smelly and can be utilized in my home again! Brandon was professional and quick which I really can appreciate so I wanted to write this review to let others know there is definitely hope for your Dyson vacuum if it gets smelly at the Dyson Service and Sales Center in Troy on W Maple in the Walmart shopping center next to the Xfinity building. read more

I purchased my Dyson last Black Friday and did not fill out the warranty information. Dyson registered my vacuum and sent me to the store in Troy. I did not purchase my Dyson from this store. The service I received at the store exceeded my expectations. They fixed my vacuum in 10 min and answered any questions I had. Outstanding customer service! The wand on my canister vacuum was worn so that cleaner head would fall off. Replacement wand was identified and in stock. Replaced the wand and tested it to ensure head would stay on. Unit was out of warranty and I expected to pay for the replacement but was told 'no charge'. I am so thrilled with my Dyson experience! Mysteriously my vacuum developed several big cracks on several areas of the machine but no one in the family seemed to know what happened?!? I think that it fell down the stairs. Anyway, it has to be at least 4 years old. My husband wanted to throw it out thinking that it was irrepairable. I called Dyson, they gave me a reference number and sent me from Clarkston to Wixom. Upon arrival to the store we dealt with Brandon who was very knowledgeable. He told us that they would replace the broken parts and that the machine would be ready within a day. Within about 4 hours we received an email notifying us that it was ready! They replaced all of the cracked pieces, cleaned it and the vacuum is like new! These are not cheap appliances but I will never own anything else. What UNBELIEVABLE customer service!!!!! read more

My vacuum is about 4 years old. I recently moved into a new home and did not want to bring my vacuum in the house without a cleaning. Luckily there is a Dyson Service Center near me and they offer cleaning service. My vacuum had a few other things broke and since it was still under warranty and they offered to fix everything. I picked up the vacuum today and it looked brand new! Best money ever spent (for the cleaning). I also recently bought a Dyson V7 stick and it is amazing. I will be utilizing this Dyson Service Center for all my vacuum needs. read more

My 2 month old Dyson v11 Animal stopped working over the weekend. I called service support and, after trying to diagnose the issue over the phone, the friendly phone rep suggested I bring it to the Dyson Service Center. I took it in, and Anthony called the next day explaining the replacement part was unavailable and a new vacuum would ship to my house from Columbus in 3 days. Awesome. My mom was thrilled to find out that the service center wasn't gone, they'd just moved! They gave her excellent service on her two vacuums and offered to replace entire sections of the machine if the repairs weren't sufficient. Highly recommend to anyone! Absolutely worth any commute! Apple-like service. Very clean and nice storefront. I had broke the cap off the end of the cleaning wand, and they fixed it for free. I needed a cleaning brush, they gave me a used one for free. And my vacuum cleaner was not under warranty. If having great service for your vacuum cleaner is must, Dyson gives it. This store allows seems to carry all the current products. I had a part break on my vacuum and I was not happy to have to go out to Wixom to get it repaired but I am so happy I made the trip. They were super helpful. The service center was very clean. Not only was my vacuum repaired but they also did a "tune up" on my vacuum and replaced various parts, like the canister, vacuum head and filters. The associate explained everything they did and why. I recommend them to anyone. Totally worth the drive. The best part was that all of the repairs were done under warranty. read more

Took my Dyson DC25 vacuum I purchased in 2013 into the service center here after a disastrous dealing with another vacuum service repair shop in the area who wanted to charge me $200 to fix a minor motor issue. Not only did they fix this problem at the Dyson Service Center for free but they replaced the motor brush and both filters free of charge as well. So very nice to receive customer service like this without any hassle, was in and out within 20 minutes, a sincere thank you! Side note, I also own the Dyson D6 Motorhead cordless vacuum and can't say enough about how pleased I am with the ease of use, lightweight, high suction power this little beast provides! The two together are a great pairing and will be all you ever need in your household. read more

I recently wrote a review which basically said that the Dyson Service Center in Troy, Michigan did not actually look at my DC-59 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner before suggesting a repair that would cost $199 and then, suggested that I "upgrade" to a newer model. After saying "no" to the upgrade and repair costs, I took the VC home fixed the unit myself in 15 to 20 minutes as the roller brush was clogged with hair. I am amazed at the POWER of Social Media because within 24 hours following my Post, the Regional Manager (Scott) and the Store Manager (Anthony) both called me. We had a lengthy discussion about my issues. After realizing that there may have actually been an internal control problem about giving me an estimate BEFORE my vacuum cleaner was actually opened and inspected, the Manager (Anthony) agreed to implement certain control mechanisms that would prevent this from happening to customers of his Maple Ave, Troy, Michigan Service Center in the future. I believe that "Honest" mistakes can and do happen all the time. In this instance, the degree of passion they both represented for their company coupled with a sincere apology and promise to resolve such internal control issues, make me believe they deserve a second chance. Don't we all? Through their words, actions and deeds in rectifying this issue to my satisfaction, I will give them a second chance to do any repairs necessary to my DC-59 Cordless Vac, my Dyson Fan, my Dyson Hairdryer and my Dyson Animal upright cleaner if and when they should break down. Amazing customer service!!! I bought a new Dyson three months ago and unfortunately I leaned it up against the wall to grab something quick and it fell over breaking a small piece on the canister. I immediately reached out to Dyson chat (directly through Dyson's website) and the customer service representative stated that wouldn't be covered under the warranty and the piece I needed was out of stock (and expensive) but recommended I call a local service center. The next day I called the Troy Dyson Service Center and spoke with Brandon. He quickly looked up my account and said they actually had the part in and it would be completely covered under the warranty. This was at 10:25am on Saturday morning...by 10:40 I was at the store with my vacuum completely fixed!! Brandon fixed it immediately and for free! He was so friendly and also noticed Dyson had an incorrect date for my warranty (purchase date was 3 months BEFORE I even bought it). He was able to change it quickly for me. I then inquired about an attachment I needed and he showed me the exact one that would work perfectly. I went to grab my wallet and he said no charge, you're all set. Brandon made my day! He saved me a lot of money, time and was kind enough to give me a free attachment. You never seem to receive great customer service anymore but I certainly did here! This is the only Dyson service center in Michigan (they were in Wixom and have recently moved to Troy) and they are fantastic. I came here to have my DC 25 Blueprint Limited Edition vacuum repaired (main issue was a cracked hose). Anthony was absolutely amazing-he had the hose changed in less than five minutes for only the cost of the part. I was also considering purchasing the Dyson Big Ball Multi Floor as my DC 25 is at least eight years old and with three children under ten, I am heavy on my vacuum cleaner. The Big Ball Multi floor has the awesome new Dyson cinetic technology, has no filters to clean. It is exclusive to Dyson and cannot be purchased anywhere else. Anthony had one in stock for me, registered the warranty on the spot so I have nothing to worry about should I have an issue, and allowed me to pick out 3 extra hand tools to be shipped directly to my house free of charge (2 tools come with the vacuum already). I now have my repaired DC 25 as backup and a lovely new Dyson Multi Floor. I highly recommend this service center. Go and see Anthony for outstanding efficient and professional service! read more

Wow! I previously has a Dyson vacuum repaired at an authorized vacuum repair shop and it took almost a month to get my vacuum fixed. Today I took a different Dyson to this Official Dyson store and was amazed! The customer service rep was very friendly. He explained the repair and had my vacuum fixed it 10 minutes. I expected I would have to drop it off and come back a week later. I've already told multiple people about this great service experience. I have owned 5 Dyson products and current own 3. After today I am going to stick with Dyson for sure. read more

I went to an independent appliance repair shop 2 years ago and paid $115 for the repair. My Dyson Animal quit spinning yesterday so I called Dyson and they said to go to their new Dyson store on Maple Road west of Crooks. The young man who worked there said to leave it for 15 minutes, which I did and when I came back it was fixed, (something had clogged it up) and there was no charge! I was truly amazed. Talk about fast, friendly and professional service! Anthony was so nice and I can honestly say that I have never had service like this in my life. My husband and I had a great experience with the employees at this store. We took my 12 year old dyson vacuum in to be repaired. I bought it as a rebuild and it had only been serviced once in the 12 years. The repair was going to be around $200. We decided to invest in a new vacuum. The 2 people we dealt with were very patient and answered all of our question regarding which product would work best for us. They then gave us a trade in discount and assembled the unit for us. I also used the Zorb product on my high traffic areas and WOW! they looked just like the rest of the carpet! Love the new vacuum! read more

I own 4 Dyson vacuums and love them . I've always been able to troubleshoot and repair any problems. However, recently my DC50 recently had an issue (beater bar would not spin) I could not fix. Dyson online customer support was quite helpful and even sent me a new part which I installed but still the beater bar didn't spin. Dyson online support advised met to go to a nearby chain vacuum repair shop for repair .This shop kept vacuum 5 days before telling me they could not get the part they thought was needed. I then called Dyson Service in Wixom and took machine there . Great showroom, friendly and great service from Dyson person there. He diagnosed problem ( it was not what the chain store person had thought was wrong) . Dyson person ( sorry I did not get his name) ,replaced part and repaired machine the same day!!! No charge at all as it was under warranty! Five stars plus for Dyson service in Wixom! Though I don't anticipate many problems with my Dysons -I would definitely go to Wixom. read more

My husband also thought that the brush might need to be changed but Anthony was honest enough to say that it was still in very good condition, that the brush was shaped the way it is. I went in to get a part for my Dyson DC41. I came out with a totally fixed vacuum with all new parts, some I didn't even ask for, completely FREE!!! I traded in another off brand vacuum and also purchased a new Dyson with a huge discount. I was so thrilled. Customer service was GREAT!!! I will go back for service there every time. On 10-28-16 I bought a 360 eye. I was told I received a 30day no question return policy. After a little more than a week, I returned the unit because it was constantly getting stuck in the tracks for my sliding doorwalls. The service I received upon returning the unit was far from the service I received when I bought it. The salesman was extremely rude and told me there was a problem with their system when it billed my credit card. He wouldn't give me a credit for the vacuum, According to him, it didn't charge me for the vacuum in the first place. After he told me it wasn't his fault nor his problem the conversation went further downhill. Needless to say, I won't go back. As for the vacuum, it's overpriced, the dirt storage is too small and it gets stuck easily. We tried the Irobot romba 800 series and it works great. BTW, I called Dyson on 11-9-16 and as of 11-14-16, they have not called back. I did call and stop payment on my card. read more
