Both pictures are half way done - the portion is huuuge. Expected this to be oily, but none of the items is. The bread is crispy. The veggie really help with the mix.

Stopped here for lunch you can order online or with the screens at the front! The food was really flavorful and enjoyable! I had the chicken and beef doner sandwich it was really good loved the crunch on the bread and cabbage, tomato and garlic sauce

Love this new addition to Bayside! I really enjoyed the doner sandwich with chicken and beef. The meat was very flavorful and there was enough of it in every bite. I loved the white sauce, as well as the crunch and tang of the pickled cabbage. Next time I definitely will opt out of the pide and go for a wrap because eating this was an absolute disaster. I had half my sandwich on the table by the end of the meal! I enjoyed the food a lot but I did have to wait quite a bit for it.

One of their to-go bowls has no gluten if you ask for no pita and 51g or so of protein. That's basically the food I'm preferring. It's tasty and I've been there twice. One I picked is served on lettuce salad. Attached is a list of allergens. Service was fast yet food was warm. I really dislike it when food looks lukewarm and sitting there for hours exposed to air but this place so far seems to keep standards high.

I love me a salad sandwich.

Changing my review because the place has gotten much better with their meat portions.

I ordered the doner wrap and it was absolutely delicious--plenty of meat and fresh veggies, perfectly balanced. I've also tried the sandwich at their NYC location, and the flavor was pretty much the same. It just depends on whether you prefer a wrap or sandwich bread. Personally, I found the wrap easier to eat. The place is small inside with only a few seats, so it's more of a quick-eat or takeout spot. I'll definitely be coming back for a to-go order!

Lots of lettuce, barely any doner.

Meh, can't tell if it's a lettuce wrap or a doner wrap. Barely any doner in it. Real Turkish doner is so much better than this.

We ordered lunch and I was pleasantly surprised at the portions. My daughter and i shared a chicken wrap and doner fries with chicken and beef. The wrap was wrapped very nicely and filled with meat and veggies. The only thing missing was sauce but luckily my daughter was smart enough to order one one the side. They do charge extra for sauce and pepper flakes. The chicken was well seasoned and tender. The lettuce was crisp and just a little bit of red onions made the sandwich really good. The French fries might have been a better option to have there. The way it was packaged was not good. They fill the box then force it close which made the fries a bit crushed and soggy with the meat and sauce on top. It was a hefty portion and filled with meat. Think next we will skip this unless we eating there and have more than 2 people to share with. The salad bowl also looks good and I will try that next time.

Where's the beef? Supposed beef sandwich...‍

Read about the hype and finally decided today to try it out. Bought the beef sandwich and to my dismay it was 25% beef and 75% lettuce. I know it's the beginning of the day or was it leftover meat from yesterday? Does this sandwich look like the item from the menu? I know rent is expensive on Bell Blvd but, $13 for 1/2 a head of lettuce. No thanks.

Good food, but service is very slow--even with online orders, there was a wait for assistance. Staff seemed disorganized and could be more efficient.

Came for the grand opening, well worth the wait! The kebab was SO flavorful, really stoked I don't have to wait til I'm in Europe to get my fix anymore. You've definitely got a new regular customer!

The waiter was super nice and gave us recommendations so we ended up ordering the beef sambosa, the kabuli palow with chicken, the kebab combination ii, and the okra. Loved the beef sambosa, the waiter actually brought them out for us to try before we ordered and told us to eat it with the spice condiments on the side with a white sauce. Very delicious! The okra was delicious and paired well with the rice. The kabuli palow had raisins and pistachios in the rice that was really delicious and added a nice sweet and savory element. The meats for the kebab combination were all delicious, spiced, and juicy. The waiter also gave us chickpeas which were so flavorful and would definitely recommend! Maybe we've been spoiled by our favorite restaurant back in St. Louis (Afghan Kabob House) but Ariana's was underwhelming. The server was friendly but the food was just ok. Pricey due to the location as expected but also underwhelming taste wise. We got the aushak, mantu, and kadoo bolanee (pumpkin curry with bread). All three surprisingly looked very similar (photos look almost identical as they had the same sauce drizzled with yogurt). The aushak has leeks inside while the mantu has beef. The beef was drier than we were used to and the aushak less flavorful with overpowering onion. The pumpkin was cooked in what looked like the same sauce as well but the baked bread it came with was good. They did offer complimentary chickpeas which were tastier however. Maybe other items on the menu would've been better picks!

I do think they do as good of a job managing it as possible, but it is still quite the long line. If you do decide to wait in the line, I recommend sending a friend over to Magnolia Bakery to get you a treat while you pass the time. Overall, the lamb and chicken were extremely tender and flavorful. The sauce and rice were great as well, complementing them perfectly. The service is very efficient, and they do have a few cards set up to maximize the efficiency. It was great, and I'd say it's worth trying if the line is short! Otherwise, I would pivot to another nearby great option that you can easily find.

Absolutely overrated. This place is probably overhyped thanks to Instagram and YouTube influencers,…read morebecause the actual food is nowhere near worth the attention. Yes, it's only $10 if you pay cash, but honestly, the quality you get feels like it should cost even less. There are plenty, and I mean plenty of other halal spots that are significantly better than Adel's. We tried both the combination plate and the falafel plate. The falafel was so bad we threw the entire plate in the trash after just one bite. It was oily, heavy, and downright disgusting. To make matters worse, they drown everything in a ton of white sauce, which feels like an attempt to mask how poor the food actually tastes. The chicken on the combo plate was extremely bland and dry. It didn't taste fresh at all . A lot of their meat is pre-cooked somewhere else and just reheated at the cart. The pita is clearly store-bought in bulk and has a cardboard-like texture. The rice was the only somewhat acceptable part, but even that was dry and underwhelming. I genuinely don't understand how anyone would come back here a second time when there are so many other halal carts that are easily 1000 times better. It's definitely not worth standing in line for 30+ minutes. On top of that, the staff is surprisingly rude and tends to snap at you, even when you are just asking basic questions. Skip this overrated cart and save your money.
