They made us tell them everything that was being moved with measurements for everything. Then they "guesstimated" cubic feet and said it would take 10 feet of a truck (top to bottom), and would cost $2300 total for the move. When 5 Diamond showed up, they used way more packing material then was needed to the tune of an extra $321 on top of what they originally quoted. By the time they finished loading the truck it took 13 feet of the truck and now the price literally tripled for 3 extra feet to the tune of $6900!!! I guess they figured they could take advantage of us senior citizens because they knew we had to be out of the house by the next day. They were literally throwing our stuff around the garage and on to the truck. Then they took our stuff back to their warehouse and subcontracted another company to move it to our new home. The VERY UN-proffessional driver, SIARHEI HALAVENKA (who we think may be here illegally) arrived to deliver our stuff and refused to try to make the 2 wide turns to get to our house even though the gaurd at the gate told him tractor trailer drivers come in and out of our development all the time!! So obviously he didn't know how to drive a truck!! He then extorted us for $350 because he said he had to hire someone to help him move our stuff because he had a bad back and it was hurting him! WHAT?? And i asked him why he was even in the moving business and he wouldn't answer and said if we didn't Zelle HIM the money he would not deliver our stuff. I asked why we had to pay HIM and not the helper and he said HE would pay the helper. He probably paid him some and kept the rest!! I threatened to call the police and he got really scared saying, "Don't call police!! I no want you call Police!" He spoke broken English so that was a clue. By then he was mad because he was going to be late for his next delivery and literally started throwing our stuff off the back of the truck!! All our boxes were packed very carefully and labeled so we knew where they went especially ones we marked "GLASS - FRAGILE". He also purposely threw heavy boxes on top of those boxes crushing some of them. I said something to him several times about it and breaking some of the things that broke when he threw them off the truck and his response was, "Not my problem, company will pay you back". He also tried to make us take someone else's china closet!! It had no sticker on it and I told him it was not ours. He said he would put it back on the truck and "get rid of it somewhere". So we had about $4K worth of stuff damaged and missing!! They delivered our bookcase, but the shelves were missing, they broke a brand new printer that was still in it's original shipping box and I could see they threw it on it's edge from the corner being smashed in, several pictures/frames that they packed were broken, and 3 boxes were missing - one with a couple power tools and other tools in it, another with my wife's pots and pans and other cookware in it and another with our DVR and surround sound system in it. They would not answer their phone so I called Frontier Moving, a brokerage co., for 3 weeks trying to get an answer. They said 5 Diamond was searching the warehouse, but then finally said that 5D could not find them, so I guess someone had a nice Christmas!! Speaking of Frontier moving, DO NOT use them either!! They are in cahoots with 5D and are a bunch of liars themselves and i'm sure was getting some kind of kickback from 5D!! AGAIN _ DO NOY USE EITHER ONE OF THESE COMPANIES!!!! The 3 guys who moved my contents worked hard and did a good job, I tipped each of them $100 for their hard work. When the bill came I was shocked but assumed I would call the company on Monday to discuss. Well after several messages this Jade called my cell and started on me while I was at work in an appt. When I requested she investigate and call me back she argued. Bad employees are unfortunate in Las Vegas, but allowing them to remain is a management decision. I don't think I will be referring this company again. If they did this to me they will do it to you.

Their Customer Care and Delivery Teams were fantastic, including Aaron (who picked up my Zippy Shell container at the destination). I have moved items from the West Coast to East Coast and back several times over the years. It is not easy moving a lot of items over a long distance without paying an arm and a leg or losing/breaking things. Zippy Shell gave me confidence that my belongings would arrive without issue (and it did). I initially signed a contract with a full, comprehensive moving service, but after hours wasted on multiple phone calls/no-shows, I ended up cancelling the service due to lack of reliability and trustworthiness from their staff. In contrast, the Zippy Shell agent on the phone worked to make the service perfect for what were important to me: budget and reliability. I wish I could remember the name of the first person that helped me at Zippy Shell in the Customer Care team. He was fantastic and gave me the confidence to go sign the agreement that day even though it was not the cheapest quote I had received. There are always little hiccups (e.g. the Zippy Shell and Pack Rat systems don't seem to play nice), but Zippy Shell has been fantastic overall! Most importantly, I felt assured my belongings would safely arrive. They will be my first call in the future.

There was a team of 6 that showed up for the job. They were nice and professional. As a matters of fact, their team lead pointed out the crack in the TV after it got moved to our new residence. He assured us we would be able to submit a claim and it would be taken care of. The claim was ultimately denied and they said it's because we can't prove the TV wasn't like that prior to the move. So basically when we did the initial walk through, not a single one of the 6 men noted the crack?Interesting. Read other reviews and do your own research before using this company. This company was hired by Safe Ship Movers, who really impressed me when I talked to them. But these movers should not have contracted with them. They should have been investigated first.

Very sloppy delivery and they break a lot of items so make sure you buy insurance. Once they deliver your stuff it's to late to fix anything. We were under the impression that they would show up, load a semi-truck, and basically be off to our destination in the next couple of days as we were headed out of town as well. What happened was they showed up in a 24-foot enterprise rental truck, which only fed about half of our stuff and said, no, we actually load this and take it to a warehouse and unload it and load it somewhere else. The first hour and a half consisted of them trying to tell us that the quote that we got for $12,900 was way too low and there were too many heavy objects and it was going to take up a lot more space, even though we did over an hour worth of walkthroughs to get the initial quote. They said it was going to be more likely around $24,000 and were naming off all sorts of additions and stuff that was going to cost a lot more, and doubling the space it was going to take. And what can you do when they're there to move your stuff? During the first hour and a half that we were trying to work out the price, half of their guys were carrying off knickknacks and things out of our different piles and putting them in their personal cars as well to take, which was funny. And when I looked at them, they tried to hide it. That group of guys didn't show up the next day. We put air tags in our boxes and realized both enterprise truckloads went into a gigantic pod that was in the middle of a field behind a grocery store, not a warehouse, and it sat there for basically 10 days. I'm assuming, well, they tried to find an actual trucking service who would take it. They told us our $10,000 dining room table was too heavy to move. They said it was going to cost an extra $600 to move. Okay, that's fine. We need a table and we can't leave it. when we told them, Okay, they went back and started talking Russian to their boss on the phone and came back and said, No, actually it's gonna be tw$2400, which was startling. When we told them, like, we can get help, we have a bunch of people that can come move it. They said, no, that won't work because we have to unload it at the warehouse and reload it somewhere else, and your guys won't be there. So we agreed to pay $2,400 to move a table. And he went back and started talking Russian to his boss and came back and said, No, it's gonna be like four or five thousand dollars. I'm trying to be your friend, just leave the table or give it away. And it's like, you guys are almost done with this move in 30 minutes. And now I'm scrambling to find people to either move it or give it to or sell it to. So we basically ended up leaving our ten thousand dollar dining room table because they wouldn't move it and having to buy a completely new table at our destination. And what's crazy is, after they left, we actually gave it to some neighbors and moved the whole thing ourselves with teenagers. I think the price on the quote that they kept trying to have us sign probably changed five or six times. And I wouldn't sign it, and they told me as they were finishing up that I needed to sign it, and that if I used a credit card, there would be a 5% charge. (They emailed me a week before and the email specifically said, If you want to use a credit card, please let us know in advance, which I did immediately, but it said nothing beyond the five percent charge). Obviously, they want cash or a cashier's check because they know you're getting ripped off and they don't want you to charge it back. So that was a problem as well. Overall total nightmare of a situation. We ended up at our destination for at least ten days sleeping on the floor, hounding them about when they were going to deliver our stuff and they kept changing prices. And each person said they had to check with somebody else who had to check with somebody else, and nobody knew anything.

All good reviews on here are fake. Worst experience ever
