After chess tournament, we got to find somewhere to eat. I ordered the popcorn chicken -- a much bigger pack than I expected and super tasty. The fried calamari rings, fish balls, and tofu were all delicious, and I believe they marinate them beforehand since there was no seafood smell at all. My kids loved the chicken tenders with ranch sauce. The boss lady told me they change their frying oil every day, which makes all the fried food brighter in color and better tasting compared to other places. I even asked her, "Why does your boba tea just taste better than others? What's the secret?" She said they brew the tea with a lot of effort, time, and love. She always wants to hear from us -- whether the drink should be stronger or sweeter -- because she cares so much about meeting our expectations. That's why I feel so good about this place compared to Starbucks tea. We also loved the chocolate egg puffs and mochi candy egg puffs -- those two flavors were amazing. Omg, the lemon jelly was something I'd never tasted before, such a unique topping. For us, desserts and drinks should melt in your mouth rather than be chewy, and this place nailed it. We ordered 8 boba teas, and the boba toppings were fresh too. We tried most of the famous flavors -- coffee hazelnut, strawberry milk tea, tiger milk tea, ginger hot tea, and peach milk tea... I love supporting small businesses. Glad to see this small little shop is around the corner for me when I need a quick boba and snack fix! The service was exceptional. The cashier was just finishing a very big order right before mine and was very kind and patient with me while I perused the vast options on their menu. Tried the calamari bowl and it was so good! Would definitely recommend! The litchi snow was also perfect for this warm weather! I also got to sample their avocado snow. It was so good I finished it before I remembered to take a photo. This place just took over Quickly. Still using the cups. The drinks taste just like quickly also, which isn't the best quality. Right now, I don't see any drinks on their menu that are special or different from other places. The boba was also hard, but not sure if that's because I came in when they just opened. Spent almost $45 here today after work for drinks and food. The drinks were good but the snack food was so bad. It's like they cooked the sesame balls and waffle fries in old oil or just reheat it and then refry. The lumpias were the most disappointing though because I ordered 2 orders of lumpia and we had to throw them away. The outside was crispy but the meat inside smelled and tasted so bad. And it was soggy. Like it was spoiled. We spit them out and through all of them away. Mind you, that's $20+ worth of lumpia. The mango slushie was good, and my sister liked her honeydew juice but the drinks were not enough to save this place because the food wasn't just disappointing but REALLY BAD. One of the worst places to order food and dine in at as this restaurant does not value customer service and professionalism. Tea4 has higher quality of standards than this business. Beware they have rude employees who make false accusations and discriminate against customers when it comes to the use of their restroom. I ordered food and drink from them and they refuse to let me use their restroom. I did a previous yelp review on this trash restaurant, but it was removed by them. Because of removing my previous review on yelp of E KA Tea I am strongly considering filing a complaint to the BBB or the state health inspection as they do also do not provide a sanitary environment as well. read more

I come here almost every day for my Super Size (32 oz) Mango Escape Smoothie topped with Double Tapioca Bobba that is always made to perfection! I also recommend their Thai Milk Tea with Bobba along with their Churros, Fried Coconut Shrimp, and French Fries. Their large menu gives you so many options to choose from that you'll sure be able to find something to your liking. I also like the fact that there are 4 cup sizes to choose from (Regular 16 oz, Large 24 oz., Chubby 26 oz, & Super 32 oz) because most of the other Bubble Tea places I've been to only have 1 cup size. In addition to their delicious drinks, the employees at E Ka Tea provide excellent customer service. We were Quickly patrons for over a decade. So sad it's under a new ownership and name. This place now has horrible customer service and the food is overpriced. The two girls behind the counter were rude and did not know how to properly respond to a customer complaint. The calamari and popcorn chicken were so salty.
