I've been back many more times since my first initial visit. I love their BOGO deals and have tried a variety of their drinks. I enjoyed most of what I've tried. There are two kiosks for you to order from. There are a few tables inside for you to wait or for you to enjoy your order. Drinks usually come out pretty quickly. The store could be a bit cleaner, but I usually take my drinks to go. I look forward to see what else they have to offer in the future!

I've been to Ume Tea at another location before and love their tea jelly. It's hard to find anywhere else. This location delivered the same great taste, which shows their consistency in flavor and quality across stores. Highly recommend! The price is very affordable (mine was under $6), and even though I didn't interact with the staff, the service was quick. The place is clean and cutely decorated.

My drink with some Lunar New Year goodies. Envelope had a coupon.

Walk in, order from the kiosk, and wait for your order from the pick up window. I got a large warm oolong milk tea with boba. To my surprise, in celebration of Lunar New Year, I also got a red envelope with a coupon and some stickers. I kind of wish the cup was all plastic so I could reuse it bc it was so pretty in red.

Warning: Undercooked chicken! Extremely disappointed with my experience today. The chicken I received was still pink and raw inside, making it completely inedible. Serving undercooked poultry like this is careless and a serious food safety concern. I hope the shop reviews its kitchen protocols immediately!

UME Tea is a cute boba shop and has great drinks! I have been here a few times and I always get something new, which is not typical of me at a boba store. I do it because I have multiple drinks I'm interested in trying and they have so many great options. So far I have had some of their milk teas, fruit teas, and non caffeinated drinks. The interior is adorable and offer aesthetic backgrounds for pictures. There is a big keychain plushie wall and I collected a few of them from their surprise cups! Service is nice and drinks are made fast. They do not have much seating inside, only a few tables and chairs.

Delicious, cute, and healthier than the average boba because it's a more nutritious. Love the coconut and taro balls. I wish there were more nutritious drinks like this. The texture is nice and smooth.

I stopped by the Sacramento Ume Tea location shortly after landing at the airport--it was the perfect first stop after a long flight! The shop was clean, bright, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They made our drinks just the way we like them, and of course, I had to upgrade to the bunny surprise cup. It's one of my favorite things about Ume Tea! My family and I love visiting Ume Tea whenever there's one nearby, and this location lived up to our expectations. I'll definitely be coming back the next time I'm in town!

I find that most places that sell popcorn chicken with a "spicy" option is not actually spicy. I am pleasantly surprised to find that the UME Tea here is true to their word and is actually pretty spicy! It's crispy and has a good amount of meat, unlike places that have bad ratios and are mostly batter or fat. The portions are pretty good as well. It stays crispy even after it gets cold (as long as you don't cover it up when it's still hot or steaming). The flavor is delicious and is even spicier when the food is hot. It actually makes me sweat and this is coming from a spicy food fan. I hope their spice level never changes. It is so hard to find a satisfying spicy popcorn chicken. UME Tea will definitely be my go to for popcorn chicken in Sacramento. Beware, it may be too spicy for people who cannot tolerate too much spice, but I am sure they can accommodate and put less spice if it is requested. However, I am sure their regular popcorn chicken is delicious too! I think they also offer other flavors as well, but I have not yet tried any others -- I am too hooked on to their spicy popcorn chicken! I also enjoy their drinks! They were quite refreshing and nice. I opt for the fruity teas or blended drinks to complement my spicy snack. I have also tried their Blossom Latte which was good as well! The shop is really cute and small. Service has always been quick when I visited, but it may be because I tend to go during their less busy hours.

Came to try their newish item, the Dubai chocolate shake. It was okay to me, I'd give it a 2/5 :( Along with the pistachio shake, it has some chocolate syrup, kadaifi, and fresh chopped pistachios. The shake... didn't really taste like anything. Idk how to explain it but it didn't taste like pistachio at all, nor did it taste like milk, heavy cream, or even vanilla or pistachio icecream (assuming that's what they use to make the shake). The only time I tasted pistachio was when I mixed the drink and some of the fresh chopped pistachio went up the straw. If I come back, I'll stick to the usual milk tea with red beans and mochi toppings.

Finally got to try this place around the holiday season and they did not disappoint. We ordered an Oreo cream shake and a matcha drink and they were actually very good. You order through a kiosk and they call your number when it's ready. The boba shop is cute and screams pink aesthetics lol. Definitely worth checking it out!

I really like this boba shop and usually have great experiences here. My go-to drink is the Brown Sugar Boba & Mochi Black Milk, the mochi is amazing, and service is normally good. This visit was disappointing. They had a promo where spending $25 gets you a free tote bag, and my sister and I intentionally spent over $25 to get it. After paying, we were told they were completely out of tote bags. There was no sign posted letting customers know this ahead of time. I waited about 15 minutes at the register to ask if I could take one of the display bags since I'm out of town. When a worker finally helped me, she agreed but seemed visibly upset and rushed, which made the interaction uncomfortable. I'll still come back for the drinks, but clearer communication about promos and better customer service would really improve the experience.

Was at a meeting for work and 2 people walked in with pistachio ume tea and said how good it was. Once the meeting was over that was my first stop! The pistachio tea was amazing.

Are there still long lines to get in on the weekend?

Nope! Just went on a Saturday afternoon. Waited behind one party and got my drink within 10 minutes for sure. The longest wait is when people are deciding what they want on the kiosk ordering

Is the bunny surprise cup back to stock yet?

Yes. Just went there yesterday and they had plenty.

Wushiland Boba is my new favorite spot for boba in Sac!…read more I found out about it from a recent Feed Mei Mei YouTube video, and of course I had to check it out asap. I looked up the origin and it turns out Wushiland is a spin off from the Taiwanese boba chain 50嵐 (if you speak mandarin, it says Wushi Lan). Located on Sutterville in a tiny strip mall with minimal parking right next to the Freeport area where there are plenty of good eats, some of which are my favorite places in Sac to eat at, Wushiland is in an optimal location. Bright, clean, and with a decent amount of seating, you have the option to order from kiosks or up front at the counter. The AC was blowing cold and a nice respite from the El Niño heat. The workers are friendly and drinks are made quickly. Be advised that the drinks are voluminous, especially if you're like me and ask for less ice. Coming from someone who considers Chicha San Chen their favorite Taiwanese tea chain (but alas we don't have it in Sac), the difference in quantity is huge. Obviously if you're looking for a refined style of tea chain, Wushiland doesn't compare, but still the taste of their teas shine through and there is a good variety for everyone's palate. The first time I tried their earl grey tea because I have been craving an earl grey for a while, and that was deliciously smooth. The mini boba were so fun to chew on, and I usually prefer them over the regular size. They provide a ton of boba here as well. The next time I had their yakult green tea and that was very refreshing indeed. Both times my husband went with fruit teas, and had nice remarks to say about both of his drinks. He also tried their new QQubes and their texture was very QQ (I had a sample). We will most certainly return to Wushiland, especially since it's so accessible. Prices are standard, and honestly for the amount of tea you get, it's very worth.

And you can get an extra shot of tea if you want your drank strong. Prices range from $5.25-$7. I've tried the roasted oolong milk tea and the grapefruit green tea and they've been on point. I usually get them both at 50% sweetness. Another thing they offer here that some other shops don't have are the mini boba balls. My friend ordered the uji matcha latte macchiato with the mini balls, and he wanted another one to-go! The shop is a tad small and cozy(ish) since the seats and tables are close together. The theme is very colors of a bee; black and yellow. There's a long bench with cushions so it's a good place to sip and chill, and people come here to study it seems. Ive been here a few times mainly on a Saturday and all 3x it's been busy. They have 2 kiosks you can order from, or you can order from a human. Wushiland choose a good area of Sac to post up shop because it's the currently the only boba drink shop (for now) near Hollywood Park/Land Park and very close to Sac City College. They're located in the corner of a strip mall type plaza. And parking isn't too bad. Overall, good drinks for a reasonable price and service is decent. They have a fun logo, too. I would definitely come back here to try more of their drinks!

We both found ourselves wishing for more of that earthy matcha flavor to come through. The strawberry portion also wasn't what we were expecting. I tend to prefer drinks made with fresh or macerated strawberries, and this tasted more like a strawberry jam or puree. If that's your thing, you may enjoy it, but for me it just wasn't my jam. Literally. My friend and I also shared a chicken sandwich. It was okay, but nothing really stood out about it. I found myself wondering what type of chicken was used because the texture wasn't what I expected.
