The people that work there were so cool! I'm thinking about moving to the area and they were really great about giving me a lot of suggestions of neighborhoods to look at. It seems that they specialize in a lot of iced flavored coffees, as that is what I saw most of the people that were there when I was getting. I just wanted a latte with a little bit of honey and cinnamon. Was kind of surprised that they don't carry cinnamon at their shop, that's a coffee shop staple. I did enjoy the latte, though, the roast on the beans was very nice. The vibe in this old home is so cool, lots of people just chatting and hanging out. Was a really great place to pass a little time in a beautiful neighborhood. I would return to this coffee shop. I didn't try any of the pastries that were available, but I did see a case with a selection.

So glad we chose this spot. The vibes and food is amazing. It's also dog friendly so a plus for us. I forgot what coffee order we did but we thought it was okay but still got the job done. Tree House Salad w/ Chicken & Avocado 4.5/5 Honestly this salad is exceptional. The dressing is super simple, nothing over powering. The trail mix of berries and nuts were nice added textures. The chicken perfectly seasoned. The avocado, I thought would be in slices but it's pretty much guac and it was super delicious. Tosses together and it was a very pleasant meal. It's also a hug portion enough for me to bring half home to finish later. Highly recommend if you're on a diet and need an alternative to a breakfast burrito. Breakfast Burrito w/ Bacon 4.5/5 My girlfriend ordered this and when I took a bite it was an absolute banger. It's got every texture and flavor bomb you'd want in a breakfast burrito. Bacon is crispy, tortilla nicely toasted with a soft cheey texture, tater tots nice and fluffy with extra added crisp, house salsa delicious and cuts through the richness, mashed beans helped give a creamy earthiness and eggs were perfectly cooked. It's fire and I highly recommend fixing your cravings here. Service 4/5 Friendly staff. They serve your order to you with a number stand. But everything else is self serve from water to cleaning up after yourself. Ambience 4.5/5 Mostly outdoors. Nice and casual dining. Decorations are nice and fun for photo opportunities. Great place to chill with your pup and read a book. Perfect for quick bites as well. Definitely coming back to visit when I get a chance. I didn't get a chance to get a photo of the breakfast burrito because it was demolished so quickly.

I ordered a caprese panini sandwich which was delicious, bread toasted perfectly, cheese melted just right, great stuff. If you're in the Sacramento area I'd greatly recommend this place!

Since I have a pretty lengthy list of coffee shops bookmarked on Yelp, it was a no brainer when Goodside coffee popped up at the top of my list. Looking forward to great conversation and good coffee, I looked at their menu ahead of time. Upon arrival, I was greeted by an employee who quickly processed my order - Iced Honey Lavender Latte. Considering that it was in the mid 90s, the latte was refreshing and the honey lavender flavor was very prevalent. The establishment was fairly empty at the time, which was perfect for having uninterrupted- free of distraction- conversation. If you're like me and always looking for a new coffee shop to explore, I recommend visiting Goodside!

It's a great place to settle in for a while, plenty of tables, accessible charging stations, and a convenient location near other food and coffee options nearby. Parking is metered/paid, no free options, though spots are generally available. Two things to know before you go: restroom access can feel like a hassle, even after a purchase and hours spent in-house..there's a noticeable reluctance from ownership around letting customers use the bathroom. And posted hours aren't always reliable, I've shown up on a Monday when it was listed as open, only to find it closed. I won't be returning as often due to this and I've spent a lot of money here in this short time going, 3.5 stars overall.
