I was surprised to walk into here on a Saturday evening and the place was empty, no other customers besides myself. The staff that took my order was super friendly and kind. The place looks wonderful and spacious; has a bar area along with regular seating. I had the karaage, hot mama roll, and fancy rainbow roll, and everything tasted great - fresh and prepared to order. The karaage wasn't spectacular, but it was still okay. It lacked a good crispiness aspect on the exterior while the inside was fantastic, very juicy and moist chicken, not dry at all. The sauce it came with paired well with it too. The sushi rolls were delicious on the other hand, they looked very vibrant and the tuna, salmon, and tobiko on the rolls had a really nice flavor profile. The jalapeno inside the hot mama roll wasn't that spicy which I was expected a bit of a kick, as well as the wasabi wasn't hitting either but still an overall great meal which I ordered to go.

I ordered the American Dream Roll and the Tan Tan Ramen to go. The roll was okay- I couldn't taste any lobster and topping had somewhat turned to mush. The ramen had the right elements, but the broth needed more flavor and was not hot enough to break down the noodles enough to separate. For the price point, so had higher expectations.

Came to town for the Indiana Fever Game. Wanted to grab a bite afterwards and E Sushi was near our hotel. When we approached the restaurant a worker was outside and encouraged us to come in and to take a look at the menu. We decided to give it a try and what a delight. Rósela was friendly and informative. We ordered the Sake Bomb for 2 and she showed us how it is done! The edamame, dumplings, fried rice and sushi roll were all very good. I'd go back and recommend it.

Great atmosphere and an easy walk from anywhere downtown, I walked all the way from the JW Marriott. Every was fresh and very tasty. The Maki comdo came with miso soup and a few little appetizers (mushroom, marinated tofu and seaweed salad). Definitely recommend.

Food was amazing! We were in Indy for the PRI show and I wanted to find a good sushi restaurant to have a light bite. And I wish I could say I tried more rolls than the two I got.... They were absolutely delicious!! If you're in the area, it is worth the trip. Best sushi I've had was in Seattle and this came up right alongside it. Worth the trip and the service was phenomenal. Will definitely be back next year! I wish this business lots of success in the years to come! Also, restaurant was clean and tidy!

Absolutely excellent service. I ordered via Uber Eats, and it arrived within 15 minutes. The crab rangoons were fresh, crispy, and delicious!

I had the kimchi ramen, and everyone else had the spicy ramen. We shared the chili garlic edamame and pan fried dumplings. The chili garlic edamame was SO GOOD and garlicky!! When we arrived, were here asked if we had a reservation which we didn't and the lady said she asked because they had many reservations for that time. We were seated in one of the upper pods which gave a nice elevated view of the entire restaurant. We ended up choosing different combos so we could try the different side dishes. Overall the food was great. We were served our dishes by different people and one guy was almost rude when he brought our ramen bowls. If I had to choose, I'd go to 86th Street as everything about the experience was top tier.

The staff, drinks, food, music and overall atmosphere are consistently exceptional. The cocktail menu is fantastic. My personal favorite is the painkiller - a delicious blend of coconut, rum, orange, pineapple, and nutmeg. It's served in a skull glass and tastes absolutely perfect. I also appreciate that they make their noodles in house! Have you ever had a meal you can't stop thinking about? That's exactly how I feel about the shoyu ramen. We came in on a Friday night at 6:30 with no reservation, and had to wait ~5 minutes for a table of two. We were sat at a high top at the bar, which we appreciated. Our server greeted us quickly, and checked in a few times throughout the night. Service was average, nothing spectacular but nothing to complain about. I had a hurricane to start off. Packed full of the good stuff, and one was definitely enough for the night. Appropriate price for what you get. This drink is what brought my review from a 2 for the food to a 3 in total. We started off with pork Bao buns. The bun was spongy, but somewhat dry. The pork lacked any sort of flavor, and the sauce on it didn't do much for me. The next part of the meal was the most disappointing for me: the curry chicken wings. Let me tell you- I was excited for these. These lacked any sort of flavor at all, and the only thing saving it was the ranch. The wings had a good crisp, but the sauce was lacking taste. I had the Shoyu ramen for my main. It was a pretty average bowl of ramen, but for the price, I expected more. The pork in it was flavorful, but the chicken in it was odd in my opinion with an unexpected herby flavor. Overall, service was average (but we appreciated getting sat fast), drinks were strong (and saved the meal) and the food was average. Would go if invited by a friend, but probably would not return on my own.

The interior was a vibe with dim lighting that made the rainy meal experience even cozier. Ordering is easy either through the staff or a self ordering kiosk. But the vibe was nice and calming, the menu was extensive (ramen and boba options for days), and I landed on the spicy miso ramen--exactly what I needed to warm me up. Nailed it. The broth was rich, savory, and comforting with just the right amount of heat. Every ingredient tasted vibrant and fresh. The green onions, tender pork, and perfectly marinated soft-boiled egg were the ideal companions swimming in that spicy miso goodness. On a gray, cold Indianapolis day, this bowl absolutely hit the spot. Can't wait to come back and try the boba.
