I stood in the hallway trying to figure out where to go, hoping she would come back, and get me. I guess when she didn't see me, she called my name loudly from the room. I had to figure out who called me, and from which room she was in. When I sat down, she immediately told me to hold my arm out, (stiff) and don't move. I was used to being verified first, but I guess they don't do that anymore. I tried to tell Elizabeth that my other arm was better because the vein was more visible, but she cut me off, and said, "Don't move." As I sat there, I could feel the needle moving around in my arm. I asked her what happened. She said, "You moved. I told you to stay still." She spoke to me in a tone that sounded like she was scolding a child. When I told her that she was hurting my arm with the needle, she pulled it out, and walked out of the room. I could hear her asking for help. When Shakira said she would do it. Shakira came in, verified me, then took my blood. She was polite, hospitable, and quick. That is how it should have been done from the beginning. I don't know why Elizabeth was the way she was with me, but it was unacceptable. I will make sure that if I ever come back to this location, she is not my phlebotomist.

Labs are my least favorite thing in the world because I am terrified of needles. However, I had to…read morehave it done, so I scheduled an appointment, and went in. Their online check in is the easiest, and the best. As on as I pulled up, I whioped out my handy-dandy cell phone, and checked in. Within five minutes I received a response to proceed to the front desk. The receptionist who greeted me was very nice, and pointed me to the room. As I waited I watched As one of the labs tech walked around complaining about a previous patient. She didn't have anyone in the room with her, so I assume she was on the phone. After about 10 minutes, that same woman with redish-orangish hair walked in and asked me my name. After getting all of my information she proceeded to prepare my arm. As I turned my head, and squeezed my husband's hand, she angrily said, "What are you doing?!" I wasn't sure what she was referring to, so I asked her what she was talking about. She said I was acting weird (?) I told her that my husband is my support system, and I always hold his hand because I don't like needles. She said, "The next time you go into a lab, let someone know you need a hand to hold." Again, I was confused by her statement because holding my husband's hand didn't require a lecture. I'm not sure what was going on with her, but she clearly was in an argumentative mood. When she was done, she told me to advise my doctor of my fear of needles. For someone who has willingly come in for labs, being treated disrespectfully is unnecessary.

She stuck me in a vein that nobody usually attempts unless they are very good because you can't see it. You have to feel the vein. Only issue with this facility, was it smelt like poop inside. Maybe someone had an accident. I heard someone ask for room deodorizer. Hopefully, it doesn't smell like that all the time. I checked in for my 8:10 AM appointment and waited while monitoring the patient queue board, going in and out of my car to ensure I didn't miss my name. At some point my name disappeared from the board even though other 8:10 names were still listed. When I went inside to ask about it, staff would not explain what had happened for approximately 10 minutes. An employee named Eric eventually stated that he had called my name three times and that I would have to check in again and be placed on the standby list. When I calmly asked whether an exception could be made since I had been actively monitoring the board and waiting nearby, he told me to "lower my voice" even though I was not raising it, and then closed the door while I was still trying to understand what to do next. After another wait, he came out and waved me back, which made me believe I would finally be seen. Instead, he informed me that it was now 9:02 AM and implied that because I had mentioned wanting the test done before 9:00 AM, they would not perform the test. When I attempted to clarify that my doctor had only recommended testing before 9 AM, he dismissed me and said he had other patients. This interaction left me extremely upset and in tears. The lack of clear communication and the dismissive manner in which I was treated were unacceptable for a medical facility. I hope management reviews this situation and addresses both the communication process and the level of professionalism shown to patients.

My family member called with concerns to her office and spoke directly with her, expressing a legitimate concern for their child. Arrogantly, she dismissed the concerns that ultimately landed their son in the PICU of UMC. Do NOT do business with someone who doesn't care about your concerns or about your child. This situation was FATAL. RUN, don't walk. Find you another pediatrician to care for your kids. Dr. Zulich's poor judgment and lack of urgency nearly cost my family. This child was admitted at a level 3 critical and when confronted by my family, she pretended she was in a meeting. Then, she contacted the guilty party, as if that would change the circumstances. Do yourself a favor, Parents, take your kids elsewhere.

Also, check their work - they made multiple mistakes with basic things like weighing and measuring my child. When they were concerned my baby shrank (LOL) I made them re-weigh and measure my child, and they'd mis-weighed him. Dr Z totally doesn't really understand the differences between percentages, and percentiles either - which shouldn't need to be explained, especially to a Dr. She told to me "he'd grown 10%", and was super confused when I asked "10%, or 10 percentile points" - it was the latter. Most recently, when asking for his records - they said the could print them when we got there no problem, and we said we'd be there in 15 minutes - "no problem". Arrived, and no one could print it as "a dr or nurse needs to and they're all at lunch". So; massive time wasters, and occasionally incompetent.
