My girlfriend and I went to the Eagle Brook Saloon on a Saturday afternoon, September 16, 2017, around 3pm. The place was not busy. There were maybe 20 customers in the establishment. We ordered food and drinks. We waited for about 30 minutes for the food. When it was placed in front of us, all we could smell was this horrible burned smell. Both the chicken and the vegetables smelled and looked burned. I ate my sandwich anyway (I was starving). She sent her food back. 20 minutes later, her food came back out. They cooked new chicken, but it still smelled burned. They reused the vegetables and rice. The veggies still smelled and looked burned, only now they were overcooked. The rice was also overcooked. They took her meal off the bill, but with an attitude. It was a terrible dining experience. read more

Our go to pregame meal. Have never had a bad meal and have been going for years. Actually I would say the food is above average- super variety. The owners clearly care. Eagle Brook has been a place my family and I have frequented as long as I can remember. My whole life we've become regulars and know the staff very well. The inside of this place is older and western and it has an amazing charm that cannot be replicated. Service is usually above average, especially at the bar. The wings and pizza are to die for, and there are plenty of other delicious menu options including seafood to choose from. I highly encourage anyone to check this out! Definitely call ahead on a Friday or Saturday night, as it gets very busy. read more

We ordered the chicken caesar pizza, which for some reason tasted like tunafish and was hard as a rock. The buffalo chicken salad had about 5 pieces of lettuce in it. Eagle Brook is always a go to for my boyfriend and I, the food is always delicious and the blueberry ale is the best! Our most recent visit was unfortunately bogged down by terrible service. We got sat and remained unacknowledged for a good 15 minutes. I use to waitress and this is my biggest pet peeve, I wanted to leave but my boyfriend wanted to stay after driving 25 minutes to the Saloon and craving the buffalo nachos. Nancy finally came and got our drink order. The nachos and blue berry ale were great and made up for the initial bad service but we continued to wait for Nancy to stop sitting at the upstairs bar so we could order another round of drinks and waited even longer for her to bring the check after stating that she would bring it. We never got the check and just gave her our card to cash out since we were tired of sitting there for 20+ minutes with no food or drinks in front of us. The saloon wasn't busy and she had 3 tables, one of which was right behind us and was also waiting just as long as us for the bill. Every time I am nearby our family tries to make sure we go to Eagle Brook. They have an awesome blueberry ale and TVs to watch sports. The food is good and the staff are really nice. I miss the pull tab lottery that they used to have as it was a family thing to have a few beers and play. There is a great shop next door that you ladies won't want to miss! read more

Stopped here for an early Sunday dinner and was quite pleased. The menu had good choices and my turkey bacon wrap was excellent. Nice side choices with the sandwiches. I visited this restaurant last night with my fiancee and her friend. My first impression is that it is a very cool building. It has an interesting setup with two floors of seating, smaller private rooms, and some outdoor seating on the second floor. I got the tuscany chicken saute and the others got the salmon and a burger. Both my fiancee and her friend really liked their meals. They described how the salmon and the burger both had a great grilled taste and the burger in particular was definitely "real" and not some prepackaged stuff. I thought the tuscany chicken saute was okay but not great. The pasta was cooked well and the sauce tasted pretty good, but the chicken was sparse. They dice it up really small which I don't care for. I was expecting chunks of chicken, but instead got the diced chicken which, to me, gives the appearance of being processed or cheap food. I also got a side salad with my food that was good - I appreciated that they used chopped tomatoes instead of the usual cherry tomatoes you see at other restaurants. We will certainly return. We didn't try their beers, which we want to, and a lot of the appetizers we saw going to other tables looked really good. Also a lot of people seemed to be enjoying the pizza so I want to try that next. Plus, the service was great. Our waitrness was very kind, attentive and helpful. Besides the chicken, the only other negative, which is not the fault of this restaurant, is there were a lot of kids there. I'm not sure if it's possible to be a bit more strategic about seating (e.g. families second floor, others downstairs) and maybe we just went at an unusual kid-friendly time, but not being near them would be preferable. read more

If it were possible, I would give this 3.5 stars, but it is close to being 4 stars. I went there last night with a group of nine which included 8 adults and one child. The total price came out to about $200, with 3 appetizers, 9 meals and drinks. This was reasonable. The entire group seemed to enjoy their meals. The meals were spread between burgers, wraps, pizzas, shepards pies and fried clams. The appetizers were buffalo chicken nachos, buffalo chicken dip and fried calamari. Pros: 1. The place has plenty of parking. 2. Their signature drink, the Blueberry Ale, is excellent. The floating blueberries add a nice touch. I am not much of alcohol drinker, but this is good enough to make me want one every time I come here. 3. Friendly waitstaff. Even though the food was slow to come out, our waitress kept checking in and kept refilling drinks. 4. Fairs prices, portion sizes are appropriate for the price. 5. The crayons in the kids pack were real Crayolas, not cheap wax crayons one sees in most restaurants. 6. Good buffalo chicken. We had members of our group order buffalo chicken appetizers and then buffalo chicken meals. It had to be pretty good if they are ordering it twice. Cons: 1. There is limited space when you are waiting to get a table. If you are seated in the downstairs area near the bar, you may have people standing all around you while they are waiting. It is uncomfortable at times when you want some personal space. 2. Due to being so busy, there was a significant wait time between when the appetizers were put out and when the meals were delivered. If you are with a child that has a hard time sitting still for long periods of time, this may be an issue. All in all, a positive experience. I will definitely come again. read more

I've been going to the Eagle Brook almost weekly since moving to the area, and I love it every time. It has a very comfortable atmosphere (the word "saloon" is appropriate, given the decor) and the food and drink are always very good. The bar is a decent size but is very popular and almost always full or nearly full during the busier times. There are pub-style tall tables nearby, though, so it's possible to sit in the bar area and enjoy the lively surroundings without actually sitting at the bar. There is also dining space on the main floor and upstairs. I love that they offer a bison burger in addition to the regular burger options, and it's delicious. The beer is a bit expensive but that hasn't stopped me yet. The staff has always been helpful and friendly in my experience. read more

Went there yesterday for lunch; we had been only once a few years ago and thought it was good then. When we first got seated the hostess put us at a wobbly high top table that was literally in the middle of the waitress walkway in between the front and back doors. We were six inches from a loud drunk and every time the waitress went to their table she ran into the back of my stool and we asked to be moved. We were moved to a table against a rail and in front of the waitress station. They had a chalkboard with the daily specials and I decided to try the tilapia tacos with pineapple salsa and guacamole and sour cream on the side. Sounds good, right? Well, what I got was two rolled up flour tortillas that were grilled and sealed shut with mozzarella cheese. On the side of the plate was one black slice of advocado, a tablespoon of diced tomatoes and a tablespoon of sour cream. The waitress never came back to the table EVER! So I couldn't tell her that I thoughtI got the wrong food. I tried to make the best of it because my husband had already eaten his clam chowder and was working on the fish and chips he ordered. I mixed the three side condiments and unrolled the tortilla to discover a few chunks of greasy breaded fish, I think. Absolutely awful. We were never given the opportunity for another drink and we had to yell across the room to get our waitresses attention to get our bill so we could get out of there. The food was also expensive for what you were getting which was even more insulting.It is a dirty BAR, not a restaurant!!! Don't ever go there because you will leave very disappointed and angry. Anyone who is giving this place a good review either works here or is an owner. No real customer would say anything good, trust me. read more

This place is great! Its nice because its not a chain restaurant! Its close to Franklin which is nice to make the short trip for good food. I come here a few times with my family. Its great for a group, family or just sitting at a high top table or the bar with friends. I have had the chili(really good it comes with nacho chips to dip)!! The Buffalo Ckn wrap was good just they forget the buffalo sauce which actually didn't taste too bad, it had ranch on it which i requested so good... Our server was on target, the sauce wasn't her fault. I went again a different time and i had the tuna melt , this was my fav meal here so far... perfect its like an open sandwich... The fries here are DELISH... there are TVs everywhere so all you men... yes good place for wings and Pats or Red Sox... They have a ton of different beers too on tap which is a huge plus. The place is cool inside the decor is like a log cabin type feel very homey feeling.
