Therefore all swimmers use the easy parking. That means golfers are forced toward the far west lots making golfers carry their bags 150-200 yards just to check in. There's no real drop off area either for dropping bags. The designers didn't really contemplate the burden of pushing golfers so far away from the start. They could have continued to use the original club house for golfers yet it sits vacant. It seems a huge waste of taxpayer dollars

Today I played 18 on East in the glorious sun. We got a tee time about a week prior before the…read moreforecast had sun so we were lucky to be playing on such a nice day. While I was waiting to pay, the pro shop was getting lots of calls for tee times and they had to turn them down due being all booked up- makes sense. All of the employees I came in contact with were very nice and upbeat, even the guy that I told I was looking at his nuts when I was looking at the snacks they had for sale. Snacks are limited, chips, nuts, cookies and pre-made sandwiches but they have the Von Ebert Brewery on site where you can get food too. They are beer and claws in the pro shop to keep you loose during 18. IMO, the course was very well maintained. It was obviously pretty wet and muddy but it's March in Portland so to be expected wherever you go. The greens are well taken care of as well as the carts. I paid 46 for 18 with a cart. I really enjoy Glendoveer and will look forward to playing here soon!!

The group in front of us was just standing there. Apparently there was a group in front of them still trying to get on the green. Then the group behind us showed up in number two tee box behind us. After 5 minutes they rolled to us to see what was happening. I told them a 6 hour round was about to happen. I called the pro-shop. The seemed concerned. We waited another 10 minutes. We called it and went back for a rain check. They were surprised to see us. We called. They had no clue what was happening. So what did they do? They charged us for two holes of golf and gave us the prorated amount left over.... Are you kidding me. What planet are these people from. WHO DOES THAT! Complete incompetence. Never again. Great staff that really take pride in the place. The restaurant staff even open the front doors, welcoming guests. I doubt you get that kind of service at Waverly CC. Eastmoreland is a muni jewel. Sure, the course could use some renovation like any old course, but they make the best out of what they got. Get out there now while the conditions are ideal.

Excellent track for both the accomplished golfer and the beginner (well sort of beginner; you may…read morewant to have a few rounds under your belt before you give this a go). Course is very well maintained with fair but challenging holes. The course eases you into the round with two opening holes that are relatively easy before whacking you up side the head with a very difficult Par 5 on the 4th hole. You hit a semi blind drive into a narrow area, hit a second shot 150 to 175 over a creek and then have a long third shot to the green. If you blow the tee shot you are history on this hole. After number 4, the holes, especially the innocuous but deadly 7th hole, can lead to big numbers. The back nine is not as picturesque as the front nine but is equally challenging. Holes 11 and 14, both par 5s, will give you fits. Prices are reasonable here. Great value for your golfing dollar.
