Great gun range. Friendly staff. I used to work at a gun range, so I'm familiar with safety, and it's no joke so before had I read the rules.... which they have you read when you get there as well and you have to read it throughout because there's a 5 worded phrase you have to recite to the officer before entering to ensure you read safety. The price is $20 lane, $15 for each additional person all day, which is a bit pricey but it has a lot of pros. Kevin RO is awesome. Short and sweet with gun range rules and procedures. I really felt like it was just my dad and I there. The target only goes to 25 yards but thats good enough. Connon or Connor guy infront is nice guy and really made the experience sweet and simple. They give you a speed loader to rent at no charge. How freaking awesome! They have wide selection of targets too. I'll be back. I really like it. read more

The experience was great for me and the wife but we thought it was expensive for what we got. Entry for us both: $35 Gun rental: $5 Ammo for 100 9mm: $14 Eye and ear wear: $40 Total: almost $100 for 100 rounds at the end of the day. I could not allow this day to end without sharing some feedback on the exceptional experience I had today at Eagle Gun Range! (Lewisville) for starters I must say I love this organization because I normally go to the location in Farmers Branch since I am closer to it, and I am always treated with respect and kindness. Being that I am new to the gun world, I know I have a lot of learning to do not to mention a lot of relaxing to do as well haha Today was the day of my LTC class and I was pretty nervous! Whenever I walked in the guy at the front counter was very nice and welcoming! He greeted me, shot me in the forehead (with his thermometer ofcourse) lol and directed me to the proper area for the class! My class was the absolute best thing to happen since Covid! Haha John Grizzaffi was extremely helpful and very thorough! I believe I speak for everyone when I say that he helped make things relaxing as well as beneficial. I learned a lot of great information, some I didn't even think to even think about so I really appreciate the experience and education. I won't go into detail or spoil the experience, you'd just have to book for yourself, but I can tell you I would 100% recommended this location to everyone! If you are on the fence about which class or if you even are ready for the class I would say take my advice and take the course with eagle gun club! I was debating on here or Frisco Gun club but honestly it's half the price and you get the same documentation at the end. Also Eagle Gun Club allows you to shoot for free the remainder of the day! They were even generous enough to allow us to leave and come back if we needed to! The last thing I will tell you is that they have a ladies night 5$ for lanes and free gun rentals on Tuesdays! As well as a youth night for 5$ and youth training classes, for FREE! I will definitely be back! The building is very nice! I love the decor and it has the perfect lanes! read more

Great place. Went on a Monday, not overly crowded and a good discount from regular days. They have rentals and ammo and everything else you need. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable very nice. Nice clean range lots of lanes even have a lounge area and clean restrooms. My favorite so far. But I live in Fort Worth so it's a drive. I was 3 hrs on one lane for same price. Electronic target ranges for pistol and rifle. Gun rentals $5 but you have to buy their ammo which is $15 for Blazer brand. Rifle are $15. Lane rentals are $20 person but additional lane shooter is $15. Call for specials and discounts. Military and Law Enforcement for sure. Will go again read more

Use to come here every year on my birthday and even spent $1850 on my first pistol here! Until last time while i was discriminated. I was asked to bring up all my magazines which has never happened here. Took over 35mins(only had a hour) before i even shot. When checking my magizines the man with the glasses in charge tossed them on the counter, scratching my 80$-120$ drums. The whole time i felt scared. and had eyes on me the whole time! Even had one of the "lane officers" say i would go to jail on the length of my AR which is of legal length. I'm kind of a scrawny guy and was told to lift up my 4ft plano case with a AR attached with a tac-D which is super heavy the dang thing is bigger than me! All and all only got to shoot for 25mins after making me feel super shaky. If you are a brown man with cool fire arms they definitely will make you feel very uncomfortable :/ read more

I am now retired and have moved to Robson Ranch. It is about a half hour drive to Eagle Gun Range in Lewisville, yet that is where I (and many of my shooting buddies out here) go to shoot, even though there are ranges closer to us than Eagle. The staff is fantastic, the air quality is unrivaled, and you can't beat the prices, especially if you are a veteran, senior, or a lady shooter (Ladies Day every Tuesday - $5 w/free gun rentals). Hands-down the best range in the Metroplex. UPDATE: a couple of weeks ago, several of us traveled to Farmer's Branch and shot at the new Eagle Gun Range that just opened there. Hard to beat the original, but the equipment and facilities are even a level up from the original location. Outstanding! read more

I recently went to this location to purchase an item on Labor Day that not many places had available. When speaking on the phone to ask questions they were helpful and didn't rush me off the phone like most ranges will. When I got there to purchase my item I was immediately taken to work with Daniel on my paperwork. Daniel was very helpful in the process and helped me with technical information I would need to know. For example some additional parts I will need to use my item across multiple platforms and things to make it easier to remove and attach. I would give them a 5 star rating but I have yet to use their range so I brought my review down one star. Will change it once I use the range especially if its anything like their other location. read more

FFL transfer only. I used them for a firearm transfer for a hunting rifle that I purchased. Heads up if your one of those ex military guys that had a special security clearance. It's the owners policy to not release your firearm until it clears NICS, approved or denies. Which in my case will hang in limbo forever. Federal law states the FFL person can release it after 3 business days but does not have to. It's his prerogative to do what he wants with his business I believe that. Just go easy with the second amendment stuff I ended up having to have the firearm sent to another FFL. Facilities and staff seem great. read more

In Texas there is a plethora of fun ranges and each have their own good and bad points. Here we were welcomed and treated professionally as it was my girls first time at a range I truly appreciated that. The range masters were very nice but authoritative and I liked that. They had a sense of professionalism about them that is very hard to fake. We had a great time there and will frequent often. read more

This is the best indoor shooting range around folks. The staff are all very helpful in the shop and out of the range. This range is great for all levels of shooters. I have taken multiple first time shooters, and they've all had a blast... they have a friendly shooting league and a pro shop with firearms and ammo of all sorts. The gun rental is a steal at $5, great way to go try out your next potential purchases. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Range officers are also very helpful and do a good job watching over the range. There are steel dividers between shooting spots so you don't have shells from your neighbor flying all over you. The prices are very reasonable too. I visited Eagle Gun Range on 7/29/2017. Along with me I had 3 business travelers from the U.K. and Australia who had never fired a gun. The staff was great at helping us through the forms and necessary papers then did a great job going over the safety rules. We rented a semi-automatic rifle and a fully-auto rifle. I visited the week of Xmas ... first visited Frisco Gun Club and was told it was 2hr+ wait and members priority so I looked online to find Eagle and called to make sure they were open and they told me the wait was less than 30 minutes...after hearing that I immediately left and head toward Eagle. upon arrival, we have to read range rule and was quickly checked in and in less than 15 minutes we were in the range and ready to shoot!!! this was very impressive, they allow steel rounds and from some earlier reviews apparently they allow bumpfire stocks and full auto for rifles as well!??!? (please confirm on your own) I shot my Sig P320 Carry and Ruger AR556 here and it was very fun like always and this range worked well, there are 24 lanes not sure if they dedicated rifle lanes but the lane I shot was #23 it was 25yds automatic control of your target. not sure if you can use your own targets but you should be able to. all and all it was same price as Frisco and way less waiting and the staff here was pleasant to talk to more than Frisco...this will be my togo range from now on!!! =) read more

Always a little nervous going to a new shooting range for the first time and that's probably healthy . These guys are first class from the moment you walk in. The range rules are explained as well as range procedures . Once assigned a shooting lane you are greeted by an employee who shook my hand and welcomed me into the lane . There he explained how to adjust the targets and what to do if there was a problem or if I needed to step back and take a break . The equipment is easy to use and felt relaxed and at ease after the introduction and instruction . I will return to Eagle very soon . It was a blast ! read more

I enjoyed this range (for the most part) the first two times I was there. They are pricy compared to others, but the facility is clean, and their retail prices aren't unreasonable. However, I was there on Sunday, and that's when it went wrong. I brought in a new M&P 15-22, bought two 35 round mags, a box of 9mm ammo (in case I decided to shoot my sidearm), and five targets to start. Eager to shoot my new pinker, I loaded three mags, put a target up, and unloaded one mag. Then, the trigger locked up. One of the range attendants came up (virtually on top of me) wanting to know what was going on. I explained I didn't know yet, and he said "give it to me" and snatched the gun out of my hands (strike one). As a measure of safety, regardless of the fact that the mag and chamber are cleared, you NEVER grab a gun from someone. His first response to the issue was that I was using aftermarket magazines. I responded by saying, "Oh, you mean the ones I just bought here?" He then racked the charging handle, and handed it back "fixed." It still didn't resolve the problem, so I started to remove the rear takedown pin, and he told me it was against the rules. I then asked if it would be acceptable to take it over to a table behind us to field strip and inspect it. From his radio he was told no. He then told me to take it outside TO MY CAR and fix it. Essentially, I was instructed to go out and work on it in plain view of the public in my trunk (strike two). I didn't have appropriate space, nor did I feel comfortable, so I put the gun in its bag, and retrieved my range bag, ammo, and four unused targets returning to the front counter to pay out. I explained a bit of the situation to the man checking me out, and he just said sorry to hear that, your total is $128.23. Too angry to argue about the ethics of the situation, I paid the bill. He then told me there was a gun smith down the road (closed) I could take it to. I explained it was an easy fix and I'd do it myself. He stated that I could come back that day if I fixed it and use the range since I paid for it, and I explained that I live in Dallas, and wouldn't be coming back. It was almost 6pm, and the round trip was one hour. They close at 8pm. "Oh, well thanks for coming in," was his response. I was charged for the magazines (anticipated), ammo (anticipated), range time (unanticipated), and five targets of which I left four on the counter not used (absolutely unacceptable). That was strike three. I returned home, and fixed the issue in under five minutes with appropriate space, and I will never return again.... read more

Alright, let me just get in my two cents and be done. The range fees are waaaay too high for non-members, but rental fees are priced well, so if you don't own a handgun and want to try some out, it's fairly decent. Since I own my own firearms, I can find other ranges at much better prices. Now the second reason I won't go back. They scared the living daylights out of my shooting partner. It was her first time and If it's your first time they hound you like crazy and tell you that you're going to shoot yourself in the foot (literally!). I understand gun safety and have been properly trained to operate a firearm and have done so now for years...AND have taught many people how. So let us know the rules and let us be. It IS clean...but I don't really care how clean a gun range is. read more

I've been to Eagle several times since my previous experience with good luck. That's why I changed the rating from 1 to 4 stars. Let me first say that most of the staff is gracious and kind. The rules are very strict but I'm sure it's a significant help with safety. All of the range officers except one was helpful and easy to work with. The prices are very high for non members but the facility is better than most in our area. It's a good value. This would be a 4 or 5 star review if the below situation didn't happen: I was shooting on a lane and the RMR sight on my pistol malfunctioned. I decided to fix the problem and take the pistol to the front office and ask for a hex wrench. I unloaded the pistol, checked the action and locked the pistol open. I held the pistol in my index finger and thumb by the rear of the slide. I turned around with the pistol in my fingers with the barrel pointing toward the ground and asked the range officer if I could take it up to the front office and ask for a wrench. Instead of asking me to put the pistol in a bag and take it up front, the range officer forcefully pushed me with both hands back towards the lane desk and grabbed the pistol from my hands. This is assault and should never be allowed in any situation; especially when firearms are involved. The same range officer was heard screaming at the top of his lungs at another shooter just a few minutes later. I spoke with the owner shortly after the incident and didn't receive an answer other than a statement on the importance of safety. No apologies were made but they did comp my visit of $30. I fully agree that safety is paramount in a gun range. In this case, the range officer's zealous response was assault rather than helpful. The entire event was videotaped and I'm sure the owner will make a thorough review. A vengeful person would be successful in prosecuting an assault charge because of the forceful push. I hope they learn from this mistake before the same situation happens again. If you read all the reviews on this range, you'll see several concerning overly aggressive and very rude range officers. Driving from McKinney, I was not really expecting much but to just have a good time shooting. Walking in the front door, I was greeted immediately. The entire staff was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. If I could give this place an additional 5 stars, I would. Prices are very reasonable, store and range very clean, and did I mention the staff is very friendly and helpful? On a side note, veterans get a discount on certain days. This is my second time coming to this place, my first time was easy, nice, not a lot of hassle but there's a man called Barry (I just found out he's the supervisor! Ha!), both times he has been very but very rude it might seem as he's only waiting for retirement to come and he is forced to work. A little people skills wouldn't hurt him one bit!!! We read the safety rules and we were very aware as one of us worked at a gun range and was closely coaching us. Apparently this wasn't enough since they had something to say every time we touched the gun. You have to shoot one second apart, there are 12 lanes and one person watching over the lanes. One of us did shoot more than what it supposed to and we got called out and it's fine it's what they're there for but also a lane right next to us did the same thing to what they ignored MULTIPLE times. So where is the fairness in that? We came to do something out of the ordinary, thinking we wouldn't have any problems. I would tell someone to come here since their prices are good and if they don't have a problem with others attitudes. Sincerely there was a man who helped us with the rental of our guns his name I think it was Keith who was awesomely polite! Also Bradley who was very funny but after today I don't know if I'd ever come back just so I wouldn't have to deal with Barry's horrible customer service. read more

Very nice indoor gun range, better than DFW Gun, Bullet Trap or Target Master. All staff including the RSOs were very friendly and helpful. Loved the spacious shooting stall and the ability to place targets at .5 yard increments. Ventiliation was good too, although I would have preferred a bit more A/C. Noise level was a bit higher than I would have liked but I guess that's to be expected with an indoor range. Didn't get hassled picking up spent brass. Will defintely go back. read more

This was my second time shooting but my first time indoors. The employees here care a lot about their customers! They're super patient and will spend as much time with you as needed until you're comfortable. Don't hesitate to ask them anything! It was almost like they gave us a private lesson on the spot. If you don't have your own glasses/ear plugs, you can buy them for $4.99 as a set. You can also buy earmuffs for about $12. I had a good time here! Again, can't say enough about the good service. I'm a silver member and worth every penny just for the range discounts - that's $200 for a 1-year membership and 1/2 off the range fee. There isn't much that other's haven't said already. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful with any questions about firearms, maintenance, and concealed carry laws. And as a courtesy, even if they know you're a regular, the employees on the range will take a few seconds to remind you of proper safety protocol (always point your weapon down range, for one). A word to the wise, if you're looking for a new handgun this is the place to test them out - rentals start at $5 each and you can try out a few different models at a time to get a feel for them side by side. First time here and it was Awesome! Everyone was so nice and attentive. It wasnt that busy when I went so we didn't have to wait to get a lane. Its pretty expensive to shoot at a range so be prepared to spend money. But it is definitely well worthed it. It was 2 of us and we went through 200 rounds quick. Make sure you have your protective gear. First time ever doing this and I was definitely not prepared. Wear safety Goggles and not loose glasses. The shells ricochet and it can land in your shirt and inside your glasses. (That totally happened to me. Lol.) Anyways. Follow rules and regulation here and there won't be any problems.
