25 years... That's how long I've been coming here when I need a notary or something odd packed and shipped. They are experts when you need to make sure something important is done right. It is a great place if you need a separate PO Box. In this day and age of people stealing items off your porch, great place to have items sent. I know I don't use them enough to keep them in business, so hopefully all of you will come here and keep them going!

Very Disappointing Customer Service Experience…read more I visited this FedEx Office location today because my home printer was unavailable. I went to one of the self-service printing stations and used the touchscreen/payment terminal normally. The terminal was fully operational--it allowed me to retrieve my documents, select the paper settings, enter payment information, and submit the print job. After I pressed Print, the screen remained on "Processing..." for approximately 2-3 minutes, but nothing printed. Only afterward did I notice that the printer was out of service. There was an "Out of Order" sign placed on top of the large printer, but nothing was placed directly on the touchscreen/payment terminal to prevent customers from starting a transaction. My concern was simple: if the printer is out of service, the touchscreen/payment terminal should either be disabled or have a clearly visible OUT OF SERVICE notice directly on it. A customer should not be able to go through the entire process, submit payment, and wait for a print job before discovering that the connected printer does not work. I currently also have approximately a $5 pending transaction from this attempt. What made the experience much worse was the response I received when I politely brought this to an employee's attention. Rather than acknowledging the concern, she responded with an attitude and essentially told me, "This is how we do it. You can go to the next printer." When I tried to explain that I had already spent considerable time at the station because there was no obvious warning at the terminal, she eventually told me, "I don't work for you." That statement was extremely inappropriate in a customer-service environment. I was not asking anyone to "work for me." I was a paying customer reporting a legitimate problem that could easily affect the next customer as well. When I asked for the employee's name, she was not wearing a visible name badge. She identified herself verbally as "Misy" (spelling as I understood it). I then spoke with the manager, who was professional, respectful, and willing to listen to my concern. I appreciate the manager's response and want to make it clear that my complaint is not directed toward the manager.

I came in on 5/16 to mail a box to my grandson (in Virginia Beach) for his 2nd birthday, I was told by Craig that my only 3 options was overnight for over $200, second day which was going to be around $175, or ground which was still $52. He told me that it would arrive 5/20 by 7PM. As that was my grandson's birthday, I elected to go with that. The box didn't arrive until 2 days after his birthday, so when I went in today, I asked why I paid so much to ship a box that didn't arrive in time. The person who was speaking to me (Molly) was so rude and off putting by rolling her eyes and interrupting me, telling me that I went with the cheapest option...so basically telling me...well what did you expect. I began to get heated because I was being treated so dismissively and like I was being ridiculous. I asked her to stop rolling her eyes at me and was given nothing but attitude. I left unsatisfied and angry. I went to the car and immediately went back in with my husband because we paid a year in advance for a PO box that I decided that I wanted to get a refund for. I went back in and had to deal with Robert who was by in large the most rude and condescending person I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. He was argumentative, with inflammatory responses and was treating me like I was being a Karen because I was upset with the level of treatment that I was receiving. He refused to give me the owner's contact information and when I insisted on getting his information, he wrote the owner's name and the store's phone number down on a piece of paper and slammed it down in front of me. I have never been treated so disrespectfully in my life. The worst part was I was initially just looking for a solution to my dissatisfactory experience and instead it escalated into a huge scene because I was being treated so hostile. I realize that the customer isn't always right but in this case, there needs to be a reckoning. You cannot get away with treating customers in this way. Right is right. This place has terrible reviews, so I guess I am adding to the list. I have a formal complaint in with corporate, so hopefully there will be some resolve. If you are considering doing any business with this place I would say look elsewhere. There is another location just a few blocks away, where you won't be treated like you have a mental issue.

I had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life at Eagle Postal. Here's why:…read more 1) The first time I visited, the solo employee there didn't wear a mask at all, even though a sign on the front door stated that masks are required for customers 2) The employee offered me ten percent off my purchase if I wrote a five star review. That's definitely a violation of Yelp's terms of service, and likely every other review site (and probably explains why this place has such a high rating on Google maps). 3) Most importantly: I was a ponytail of pandemic-chopped hair that I was sending to Locks of Love. A few days after I shipped it, the Locks of Love package was RETURNED to me for having insufficient postage, and I was shocked to see that Eagle Postal had applied only $1.80 worth of postage to it. I assume that they just pocked the remaining $3 I paid? Had this been a time-sensitive package, this could have been disastrous. I returned to Eagle Postal a few days after that (about a week after my first visit) and interacted with a different employee. I explained what happened. He took down my info, and assured me that when the manager came in, a refund for the package would be processed, and he'd be in touch. I never heard from them again, and never got a refund. I eventually went to the actual USPS post office to send the package; they told me that it cost $5 total, and that it had to be shipped as a package, not an envelope, which is why it was returned. 4) Less serious, but also suspicious: I also sent a sewing project in a bubble mailer I'd made for a friend. This package eventually made it to its destination, but it was shipped media mail (which is *very* cheap); it weighed very little and I was charged over $7 for it; it was a birthday gift and arrived very late. The employee didn't ask what was in the package; media mail is subject to stringent regulations, and my package didn't meet those rules and shouldn't have been classified as media mail. Don't use Eagle Postal unless you want your packages returned to you with insufficient postage!

Professional and friendly service. Highly recommend this location for any of your shipping needs.read more
