He showed me the individual circuits and explained what was eroded and why it was impossible (or outrageously expensive) to recover. I had read this everywhere I researched, so I wasn't surprised. I asked if they sell computers, described what I used it for and he had exactly what I needed - one of the computers was in excellent working condition, but had a scratch on it, the other was like new and both were very reasonably priced. He did not push me to buy either of them and told me to take my time to think if I wanted one. I decided to buy the better computer and the manager added a brand-new high-quality charger and all the different cords I could need at no extra cost. He also explained that it's guaranteed for 30 days and that I can come back if ever there are problems. I was seriously thinking of buying on Back Market or from the Apple Store, but am very happy to have bought it from here because I handled and tried the computer and take all the time I needed to decide. ! Since it was close to closing time, I fully expected to come back the next day -- but within about 30 minutes, Harry called to let us know he had fixed the issue and everything was working perfectly again! Also, there is a bright spot on my phone on the right side, which affects my wallpaper. I came into this place to have it checked out and see how much it would cost to repair. The tech took one look at the photo and said it's not the screen that's damaged. It's the photo is highlighting a glare in the background. He switched it to night mode, and the glare was gone, so it was clearly the photo I had as a background and not the screen itself. Also, I asked him about the streaks of light on my photos. He took one look at it and said that my lens cover is really dusty. He cleaned it off and we took a photo and all the streaks were gone. I wanna point this out because these are two things that any dishonest repair shop can easily say they will look at it and fix it and charge me $100-$200. Because of their honesty, this was a five minute visit where he did want adjustment and one lens cleaning and didn't even charge me. It's good to know that they are still honest repairman out there. If I do have a problem, I will be sure to come back here

I was very happy with the service until my screen cracked from a very light touch in May of 2026. I was puzzled that a simple touch to the screen would crack it so easily. After the initial repair, I have always been very mindful of how I interact with my computer, as I work from home and need my computer on a day to day basis. I brought it back to Gadgetneeds to explore solutions. While I was telling the reps what happened one of them asked me "do I believe I the words I say? You must have done other damage to it." I told them that it is really bad business to insist that a customer is lying, and that I refused to pay $350 again to only be faced with the same issue in 4 months. I recommend avoiding this business. It is unfortunate that Gadgetneeds is not only able to stand by their work, but also questioned my integrity while trying to make this repair happen.
