They rebuilt the transmission and had it back to me in less than a week. One star only because no stars is not an option. Took my first car to them decades ago for manual transmission work. It never worked right. Chalked it up to age of the car. But never felt right about it. Took my wife's truck in less than four years ago for a transmission rebuild. I've seen people mention professionalism? The guy behind the counter made us wait a while on what definitely should have been a private call. Then acted like he didn't want to be there, and wanted us out of the office as soon as possible. Kinda got a bad vibe while in their thinking I was being over charged. Bubba the shade tree has as much professionalism. Got it back with a 12 month warranty. The truck transmission and experience still didn't feel right. Our concerns were ignored, "rebuilt transmission" song and dance. He just wanted our money and wanted us to go away. Today, no reverse and no first gear - same exact problem we initially had. Never going back! Not recommended! You're better off selling your vehicle to the $500 "We Buy Used Cars People" than taking it in to Eagle Transmissions in Irving TX. read more

It was Saturday evening and they offered their assistance to get it towed to their shop. Sergio was certain they would get it there and have it looked at the upcoming Monday since their close on Sunday. I came here over the summer. $100 to look at the transmission. Over $3,000 to fix. No big deal I'll just take my transmission back and see if I can find someone else to do it for cheaper or just buy another one else where. When I went to pick it up they loaded up my car with someone else's transmission. When I pointed it out all I got was attitude and ugly looks. (I'm a woman who shouldn't know anything apparently) They couldn't find mine and asked me to come back days later. I asked why they lost it and they said they never lost it. read more

Complete nightmare! I was promised that my car would only need minor things and I ended up paying $$$$ for nothing. The day I was supposed to pick up my vehicle, they tell me I would need a new transmission which would cost me even way more money than what they initially quoted me. They told what they needed to just to get me in the door. This shop is a far from honest. Chris, the owner, doesn't care to help and only wants your money. I hate to write a bad review as Chris appears to be a nice guy and in all fairness he is out of the country right now. I have a 2004 Chevrolet Suburan that I paid $2900.00 to get rebuilt the end of Septemeber in 2016 as well as replacing rear main seal. The transmission had to be brought back to them twice to be repaired and one time completely rebuilt. I paid extra to have a 3 year 50,000 mile warranty. My transmission started giving me issues last week and was told to wait until the end of the week to bring it in as they were swamped and could not get to it until later in the week. I brought it in and at first they denied that I had the extended warranty as they did not have a copy of it. I brought it and then of course the warranty had ended on September 26th, even though the mileage was only 36,000 miles after 3 years. I was told the transmission would have to be completely rebuilt again at a cost of $2500.00. I had been told they would work with me since I was so close to still be in warranty and would have been even closer if I could have brought it in when I called. You would think that with less than 18,000 miles on it after the last time it was completely rebuilt they would work with me. I don't tow anything with the suburban and the engine is still going strong. I am disappointed that they would not stand behind their work better. Taking it somewhere else for a life time warranty with unlimited warranty. read more

Took my 2007 Cadillac Dts in for an oil pan gasket reseal job prior to doing so my vehicle ran like dream despite the oil pan leak. They claimed they fixed my vehicle upon receiving my vehicle not noticing it at first I started hearing a knocking noise coming from under the hood due to hours I work I waited 2wks later before I took it back to them this time I was told I had an head gasket problem Like I said prior to them working on my car my vehicle was fine wasn't running hot or anything oh yeah when can they fix the gasket problem I was told they dnt do head gasket now I'm without my vehicle Do not take your vehicles to these people read more

NOT The Ones To Trust!!! Eagle Transmission & Auto Body Repair 1201 N. Beltline Rd. Irving, TX 75061 Owner/Operator: CHRIS NUNNELEE I urge anyone who value their personal transportation, to NEVER bring your vehicle to this shop for transmission services or any services. They practice unethical business techniques. I brought my 06 Ford Explorer in for a diagnoses which was free. I was informed my transmission needed to be removed and inspected, I agreed, I was fine with that. I was given an estimate of $1295 to fix the issues, no problem I can do that, so I agreed again. This all took place on Wednesday, I was told it would done by Saturday, great I'm thinking. I call Friday just to make sure the price doesn't change and my vehicle would be ready to go. But no he change the date to Monday but the price $1,295 was still the same. Okay fine. I received a Call Monday saying additional work needs to be done, the price changed to $2,491.88. WTF? Why was I not informed prior to the day my vehicle Is suppose to be ready? It's been there a week, at this point I just wanna pay what I owe, and take my vehicle and get it towed to another shop. The owner/manager Chris Nunnelee gives me a hard time, threatened to keep it for a month. I called the police! Even the dispatcher askd why he won't let me pay and leave? He has no response. The cops are at the shop he has a change of Heart says I can pay, but won't accept my debt card, stated he needed cash from me. Real petty. I was there 10:30am, he wanted me to come back 2:00pm said it wasn't ready. I ended up getting my ride towed from eagle transmission to another shop, with the transmission in my trunk. So apparently it still wasn't ready. Why would I need to come back unless they wanted to screw me over more and change out/leave off the parts to my transmission or mess over paperwork. I ended up paying $537.00 for the dismantling of my transmission. I was never informed of a disassembling fee, they are NOT upfront about pricing. I drove my truck to the shop, but had to tow it to another. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER dealing with the owner/Manager of a shop. I dealt with CHRIS NUNNELEE through the whole process, he is a snake in the grass looking for his next prey!!!! He lacks character, and integrity! This organization is UNTRUSTWORTHY!!!!!!!!! read more
