My car being towed away...I haven't made my first payment yet!

Within a year I have put at least 1k into this car. Alternator. Battery. Wiring. Gaskets. Fuse plugs. Spark plugs. New belt. Multiple tows. I'm honestly waiting to pay it off n just get rid of it.

    Me and my boys

When everybody said no, they said yes. Phillip was very helpful. He didn't try and pressure me into something I didn't want or couldn't afford. He was honest right from the start. I noticed that the heater wasn't working in the car, by trade I am a mechanic, but I work on semi trucks and trailers, so I tried to diagnose the problem myself. Well I couldn't quite figure it out so I called Phillip and he said bring it back to the car lot so he could look at it. He said if it was something simple like the blend door he could have it fixed quickly due to getting the parts down the street. If it was some that he was going have to send to the shop he would put us in a loaner while it was getting fixed. So hear we are sitting at the dealer ship watching Phillip run around like a chicken with his head cut off. He is trying to attend to his customers and us and being the only person here. Yes we did have to spend some here at the dealership but we came prepared with drinks and snacks. Phillip is an amazing person. So if you are looking for your next ride I highly recommend coming to Eagle Valley Motors and ask for Phillip!

I have had one of the worst experiences dealing with the Eagle Valley Motors team since January. If you thought your used car buying story was rough, read on. I came to EVM after months of looking at and researching different cars, thinking I could finally be able to purchase a vehicle from a family owned business close to me. I showed up to view a car they had posted on their site with their own pictures, only to come and find that the entire body and front of the car was damaged from a bad accident, not specified on their site. That's when I should have left.... I met with Ryan, as well as Sean from G&G garage (the mechanic shop that is strictly contracted by EVM), EVM's contracted mechanics and detailers; along with their GM Sean and Mary in the office. If you want to have the world's worst used car purchasing experience, have your contract negated, and be treated with utter disrespect-feel free to go to EVM and ask for Ryan and Sean. They are not/have not been willing to follow through on their contracted obligations and go as far as to make jokes/make fun of you when you try to schedule getting your car fixed. Will add full review ASAP. (Pics below are what was left on my windshield when I was finally able to get my car in after 3 WEEKS due to lack of communication when next day was promised.). Will post the pics of new scratches as well that appeared on my car after taking it to Sean at G&G, who had a horrible customer service attitude and talked about me in the garage to others and laughed at me....all because I wanted my car fixed...alas. These screws could have really hurt me, noticed by a second real mechanic that I took the car to after this horrid experience and was shocked by the fact that nothing was done, let alone detailing inside or outside the car. EVM do NOT care about their clients whatsoever. I am disgusted with the treatment truly. Would recommend you steer clear. Truly horrid. Check their BBB. They have blocked my phone number and hang up when I call. They are running a scam on our community and it's beyond illegal.

This van I purchased lost paint after the first car wash I took it through the first week I bought it and is already rusting.

See, here's the thing: anytime a person buys a car, and especially a female, they just don't want…read moreto drive off with a piece of junk that dies 500 yards away from the lot. Too bad that's such a sweet sentiment with no place in the real world of used car lots. Unfortunately for me, the car I purchased was only the second one I'd viewed and test-driven but my father, the guy I thought knew more than I did when it came to cars and their mechanics, convinced me it was "the one", ya know like if this was my future husband he'd be plain, a little beat up, old, poor, and about to die. (Quite the catch, right?) This is where I utter a rather inappropriate, although appropriate, expletive like F%*K. But hey, Brandon (the owner and chief salesperson) told me he'd give me a deal. We quibbled about the price for all of one minute (I got him to drop it 500 dollars, but I'm sure he made an easy $1,500 off of the transaction) and I drove off with my new (er, used) merchandise and not a "yippee" hand pump in sight. Not pleased with my new piece of mechanics but when you don't have much money to spend on a set of wheels, you settle for what you can get (isn't that just typical?). So somewhat content for all of a week and a few days until I had to fill the gas tank annnnnddddd the car didn't start. SERIOUSLY. I sat in the gas station for a minute and a half turning the key in the ignition trying to get the damn thing to start. It did but grudgingly. And I drove off hoping it was a one-time mishap (only sort of hoping, I knew it wasn't so I just had to wait until the next tankful of gas to test it again). Then, it happened again. Fill the tank full of gas and the damn thing doesn't start. OMG, I'm that girl from the ridiculous movie where she's screwed over and the snake salesman snicker with audience at her stupidity. F$*K. Not only that, but the "Cruise control" didn't work since day one, so there's the second tally on the WTH list. Oh wait, I'm not done. Third, my key FOB doesn't work and it'll cost $250 to get a new one. Thanks so F%$*#@G much. So what do I do, but bring it back to the dealer and plead my case? Brandon got riled up like a humiliated child and accused me of accusing him of knowingly selling me a car with a defect and blah blah blah. Long discussion short, I had my legal jargon all in a row and he knew it. After all, his associate sales guy told me that Brandon knew about the problem with my car and advised me to just "leave the car running when filling it with gas". Right. There's a reason that signs around the gas station say "Turn off Engine." Duh. And since he clearly didn't divulge the defect of the engine, it leads me to believe that he doesn't exactly check over his cars before he sells them, which is ILLEGAL. My advice? DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM KING'S AUTO OUTLET. DON'T. DON'T. DON'T. (Bold, italicized, underlined and the whole schebang.) *6 month later update: My car engine DIED. As in, the very engine broke to pieces and, if it was the rib cage of the person bursting forth with gory violence, you'd understand how incredibly HORRIFYING that experience was. SIX MONTHS. 6 MONTHS and my piece of shit car was DEAD. Thank you, King's Auto Outlet, thank you. If I was a truly aggressive person, I would have left that broken engine on the front porch with a nice red bow. (Unfortunately, that would just be a little too extreme. But one can daydream.)

This is an initial review as I want to give them a chance to make things right and I will update…read morethis review in the near future... I purchased a truck from here on May 9, 2023. Exactly 1 week later the engine light came on for the catalytic converter. I called and let them know and they said to bring the truck in the following week. When I picked up the truck, the mechanic said that he put in a bottle of Rislone and drove it to Reno and back and that should have fixed the issue.. this is where I started thinking my purchase here was a mistake as the mechanic lied to me saying that he paid $60 for the Rislone. Even the most expensive places in town sell it for under $30.. but hey, I wasn't being charged for it, so I brushed it off. After that the truck seemed to be running ok until exactly 1 week later and the engine light came back on for the same thing. I call them back and they said I could bring it back in, but I would have to pay this time... why should I pay for something that they claimed to have fixed? Not to mention the engine light coming on for the same thing twice in the 3 weeks I've owned the vehicle. Putting in a bottle of cleaner and resetting the engine code is not a fix. So the lady says she'll talk with the owner and call me back the next day..so far, no call back from anyone. At this time I would not recommend this car lot to anyone. Also, if this doesn't get taken care of soon, I will call the BBB to report them.

I recently impulse purchased a 4WD vehicle here in response to the surge of winter weather so I could get to work in blizzard conditions. I have to say, they treated me with great respect and also provided in-house handshake financing without much scrutiny at all. There was no typical BS, no four square or trying to milk me of extra money. Their price was fair and it didn't take long, I was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes. They also let me park my car in their lot for a few days when I would have basically been snowed in while I took my new used vehicle to work. I've bought a lot of cars in my years, some new and some used and have never had such a wonderful used vehicle sale from a dealership, ever. I won't just recommend this place, I will come back here first when I'm back in the market for another vehicle. I'll post a picture of my 95 Jeep Cherokee when the sun is up to show off my new beloved vehicle!
