About 20 yrs ago I attended an event at Griffith park. There was a pop up tent selling hot dogs. I remember how delicious the hot dog was. A guy gave me a white and blue business card and said they did catering. I finally got to make it here and dauuuummmmm the hot dog remains as delicious as when I first tried it. The chili cheese fries were bomb!!!! The whole meal was tasty and satisfying. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. That's what's up!!!! Uhhhhh.....YUM!!!!

Got a Beef Jumbo Dog (mustard and chili) and a can of Coke. The bun was toasted. The hot dog had more seasoning flavor than beef flavor. From what I saw on Google, EOC uses RC Provisions Chili Con Carne Base as the foundation for their famous chili. I have actually bought the 5lb tube of RC Provisions Chili Con Carne from Smart & Final to make chili at home. The chili at EOC had a thin/medium consistency. I can taste the RC Provisions chili and a medium/heavy smoky aftertaste. Service was very friendly. Expect a little bit of a wait since the food is grilled to order. Dining is available both inside and outside. EOC is located in Crenshaw Square, which has plenty of parking in back of the center.

First time here. Had a little challenge ordering as the person was brand new. I got a mustard, relish, onion, all beef hot dog on wheat bread and a mustard and sour kraut beef dog on wheat. I appreciate that they have a flavored water option that they make and only charge $1 for. The dogs were tasty, but the wheat bun was a little dry. The water was good. The other staff were pleasant and helpful. I'll be back to try other things!

Plenty of space to eat outside. It was Friday at lunch time yet parking was pretty easy. All the food was great. We took a pile of desserts back home for folks to try out. Nice to see Earle, and meet his mother who stopped to talk to my grandson. Good service! Everyone was very nice. We all said we'd return!

Looking for a small , nice spot with good food?? Earls is your place!! I couldn't believe the prices and the food was delicious.. the place is busy but it moves fast. Friendly staff a the place was clean with beautiful pictures all over the walls.. they even have a tv and drawing area for smaller children .. I would definitely go back.. this has been on my list to try for awhile now .. don't forget to try the banana pudding

Earle's on Crenshaw is one of those places where you pull up and leave FULL -- not just from the food, but the whole experience. I had the vegan chili burger, chili dog, hot link, and chili cheese fries, and everything kept coming back to that chili. It's rich, flavorful, and honestly one of the best vegan chili options I've had in LA. The burger was stacked and satisfying, the hot link had that perfect bite, and the fries loaded with chili and cheese? Yeah... worth it. What really stands out is the intention behind it -- separate cooking, full vegan options, and even desserts like peach cobbler and chocolate cake. They're not cutting corners. And the fact that this is all happening right on Crenshaw? That makes it even better. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.

Came here with some friends to try out the place. Ive passed by it many times and Im not a hot dog person but when I found out they had links, I was in. Staff are nice the environment is very efficient and chill. I ordered a beef link with chili, cheese, relish and pickles. It was soooo gooood. I got some fries which were steak fries and they were seasoned to perfection. Lastly. I got the German chocolate cake and pecan pie. Uh, yes sir to the chocolate cake, its Tasty as well. The pecan pie was ok but all in all, good bite and good vibes

    The receipt!

I've been patronizing Earl, since 1987 when he had the hotdog cart on the side of then the Crenshaw Swap meet- long before the mall was built. He has always given service with a smile and good food. I ordered my usual tonight for myself and my daughter, the famous vegan chili cheese fries with regular cheese + extra cheese. We got all the way home, ready to dig in and discovered they were beef chili cheese fries and a small amount I will add. Pissed was not word! I went looking for the receipt and saw that I was actually charged for beef chili cheese fries although I said vegan chili cheese fries with extra cheese. Maybe I can be tracked by my name and you would see that I have never ordered beef chili cheese fries in all my time of ordering this food. I usually pay my bill and never bother to look back at the receipt or keep it but for some reason this time I did. The guy who rang me up did not look familiar- I assume he's the "new guy". Whomever he is he better get it together now!

The food was excellent. My wife ordered us the pastrami fries, and I instantly fell in love with them lol... great service and the ambiance was amazing as well. Would definitely recommend and be going back

Dang, that was a great hotdog. I ordered a jumbo beef dog with mayo, tomato, beef chili, raw onion and mustard on white bread. The chile was really good - not too salty or oily. The combo of topping I chose worked soooo good together. I loved the combo of the chile and tomato. Made it nice and juicy! The hot god was delicious with a deep, savory beefy flavor. I love me a good hot dog.

Was in the area intentionally to try this long time community staple for the very first time. Was wanting to try their vegan menu for a first meal and early dinner for the day. The service was absolutely refreshing. Dwayne and Staff were more than hospitable and welcoming. The energy and ambiance was a buzz with excitement as well as joy. And that's a rarity you don't typically experience combined. One of the hosts (Quentavia) added to the experience of Earls On Crenshaw with an infectious genuine smile and aura that I will never forget. Ordered the Vegan Chili with Vegan Cheese Vegan Link Dog on a Wheat Bun (With Mustard, Royal (red) Onions, Jalapeños, and Ketchup) and the Vegan Chili Vegan Cheese Fries (with Jalapeños). Also, (since I already had Ketchup on my Link), I ordered the 'Ol School Coffee Cake. Watching my sugar intake these days. The Vegan Chili Vegan Cheese Vegan Link Dog was delicious. Enjoyed the textures and was simply a great tasting Link. The Vegan Chili Vegan Cheese Fries were another top notch experience. Tasty, fulfilling, and I would surely return for them again. Earls offers a house made cold Cucumber Spearmint and Lemon infused water to wash it down. Delish as well. Was able to catch Dwayne (an owner) as I was heading out. We had a short conversation that turned out with him preparing and sharing with myself and other patrons a Vegan Cheese Burger (impossible patty) with deep fried stringy Onions that was delicious. A great gesture adding to why Earls On Crenshaw is highly regarded. I included a video with Dwayne of Earls On Crenshaw himself breaking down that their Chili Cheese Fries are the Best in town. Later after reaching my destination. I opened the Coffee Cake and let's just say I was floored with the aromas of fresh Coffee Cake filling the space of the room. Cinnamon and Vanilla flowed lusciously from the packaging that got me excited. Visions of freshly made Coffee Cake (just like in the Junior High School Cafeteria) was nostalgic saying the least. And tasted so good. Gotta get another and heat it up next time. Gratitude and give thanks Dwayne Quentavia Staff and Earls on Crenshaw for a fabulously memorable first time meal experience. I am a fan and you will be seeing me again soon.

    Banana pudding is a MUST!

Hot dogs are pretty standard, but the vibes are superb. Whatever you do - order the banana pudding!

I used to think Pink's was the best chili dog in L.A. but I hadn't been to Earle's yet - there's a new #1 on my L.A. Chili Dog list! Earle's is top notch quality food, customer service, and atmosphere! Earle is a G.O.A.T. - talks with everybody while in line and/or while sitting and eating and explains the menu options. He even brought us out a free salmon burger to try. How does a chili dog restaurant have the best dang Salmon I've ever tasted?!?! That sandwich was fire! Even beats all the ways salmon was served on an Alaskan Cruise! I still have to try quite a few other chili in L.A. but I can't imagine anything keeping Earle's from being top-3.

We stopped in on a Sunday around 11:30, no line and very quick service! Finished eating and left around 12:05 so we must've lucked out with no line. We got two double cheese burgers and the loaded fries. The burger had impressively thin patties with a really nice char on the meat skirt, well seasoned, and perfectly crispy. The buns were quite small and a bit smooshed, but they were soft. It came with some fry sauce and pickles as well, overall a good burger. The fries had a good amount of toppings (cheese onions, fry sauce) and were nice and crispy. Kinda wish the onions were slightly more grilled for some extra flavor! Would probably go for plain next time as the loaded fries and burger together had similar flavors The interior has a few benches for seating and single bar type seating around the perimeter - I could see it filling up if there's a big line of people. The Big Mac stays the same. I went to LA to taste, apparently, the best burger in LA at For the Win. I paid $25 for two smash burgers and had high expectations. After all, when you click this joint on Google Maps, a fancy review pops up. Nice! However, when the smash burger entered my cave and caressed my buds, my mind instantly recognized it as a Big Mac. Therefore, my brain could hardly differentiate between a McDonalds burger, and the "best" burger in LA. I haven't eaten at McDonalds in 14 years, but my mind still knew what a gentle and warm face looks like. So overall, it was alright! As the reverend Shane Gillis says "Not Bad". The service was good tho. And the ambiance was a bit weird because the music was off. Haha bye!!!

Parking: Street parking was super easy on a Sunday afternoon, I was able to pull up right in front and park on the street. There is a Super A across the street and ample parking around for free. Ambiance & Food: This reminds me of an old school burger stand. Those were the best burgers and this one did not stop that trend. As I walked up, we were warmly greeted and given a quick rundown of what which burger. They did have specials (I will get to that in a second) which we were intrigued, but for the sake of perspective, I ordered the Goldburger and both regular fries and curly fries with a bottle coke. The Goldburger is naturally a double, but my gymrat protein brain added that extra patty. They use a 70% to 30% mixture for their burger which makes the burger oh so decadent. The picture I took doesn't do it justice. The moment you bite into the burger the combination of burger juice, aioli, burnt skirt, all come together in such a harmonious fashion. It was remarkable. Though fries are not one of my strong points, both fries were crispy and I haven't had any other experience with Curly fries other than Jack in the Box, but these were so much better. I went ahead and dipped the fries in some homemade Aioli and dang, what a combo! Back to those specials, the current special is CHILI, I was intrigued so they gave me a small container of it to try. Man, if I wasn't watching my caloric intake, that would have been the move. It was rich and chunky and not to soggy which some always comes. Give it a try as they said it will be around for sometime. Other than burgers, they do have hot dogs as well. So worth trying both next time. To be perfectly honest, this brought back so much nostalgia for me, I used to go to school in the area and this brought a lot of those memories back. That's a lot of food for two people and well worth the price. The DH is as big as you could imagine. They cook it medium rare, which I love...that beast of a burger was so juicy, they should hand out gloves when eating it or at least a 3" high stack of napkins! You have a slight dry aged taste to it, but I am partial to the really funky dry aged. I am talking 45-60-100 day dry aged steaks, but this was just as good for a hamburger. The truffle fries were massive and could easily feed 3 people, maybe 4. We got there just in time to get the corner booth table and watch the line get longer and longer. The Amboy itself was good, nothing special and it reminded me of Bob's Big Boy hamburger sauce, which was a good memory to get back to. I think the most unique aspect are the heavily, sesame seeded buns. They were very soft, but held up to the DH 1/3# burger patty very nicely. Music was a perfect volume for conversation and their Regular Show-esque bespoke mural gave us a lot to talk about. You put your order in with friendly staff inside, and they call your name on speakers when it's ready. Ice cold water is freely available as well as some select beers, wines, and juices. It's not fast food, but it's not slow either -- you can't rush something as delicious as what they have to offer here.

They have their own parking lot, but it's quite limited. Looks like part of it was under construction for expansion. Here's what I ordered: TATOR TOTS - $6 Fried crispy, tossed in old bay. Exactly how it's described and they delivered it--so good! SINGLE BURGER - $9 3oz patty with cheese, butter toasted bun, mayo, chopped chilies, onion, pickles, tomato, lettuce. Solid smash burger!!!!! Nuff said. I was sad they ran out of hand pies and that I because it was the end of the day. Need to come earlier for them.

I remember they were selling $10 Don Julio 1942 shots one time because it was Cinco de Mayo week. Great times and memories made at this restaurant. Holiday decor was always great to see especially during Halloween. A true loss. Bring it back please! If there are any Dodgers fans out there with a good pregame spot, please reply with recommendations seeing how I do not have one anymore.

The staff was friendly and very attentive. The wings and drinks themselves were super flavorful and I thought I would have more time to enjoy and come back to visit while in town. My partner also tried their burger and fries and decided to stop by the restaurant only to find out they closed a couple of months ago. It was worth the visit when we went there back in December.z The place was cute and it felt comfy.

I happened to be in the area, and even though I'd already eaten, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to finally drop in. Irv's originally opened in 1946 as Queen's Burgers, located right on Route 66 on Santa Monica Boulevard in WeHo, and was deeply ingrained in LA's historic car culture. In 1970, Irv Genis bought the stand and renamed it Irv's Burgers, and it quickly became a legendary late-night spot for rock icons like Bob Dylan and Jim Morrison. By 2000, Sonia Hong took over, famously hand-drawing doodles on the paper plates alongside her signature slogan, "Just for you." After closing in 2013 and again in 2018, Lawrence Longo partnered with Sonia in 2021 to bring the brand back to life. They've since expanded quite a bit, even opening locations in Malibu and Las Vegas. On a staff recommendation, I ordered Irv's Original Roadside Burger Double ($11.25). Honestly, it was just okay. While a certain amount of grease and salt is expected with a burger, this one crossed the line into being a bit too salty and oily. On the bright side, the sesame bun was excellent, and I loved that they kept Sonia's legacy alive by printing her classic doodles on the tray placemats. While I'm glad Irv's was saved from history and is expanding, the food itself felt pretty so-so. The outdoor tables were also a bit dirty during my visit. I still love that classic roadside burger stand aesthetic with the outdoor stools, but unfortunately, I won't be in a rush to head back.

To say I'm super bummed is an understatement. I am so thankful that I happen to stop by for lunch and visit this location one last time. The same manager was there on the last day as when I went the first time two years ago. The staff there was always amazing, friendly, and the food was incredible. I think it was the Chinatown location that didn't work for them. However, the good news is that they do have three other locations and if you have never been, I suggest you check Kroft out if you love burgers, especially smashed. The other locations are in Long Beach, Anaheim, and Rancho Cucamonga. I wish them luck and I will definitely be stopping in their other locations if I am ever in the area.
