They tried to be cagey about it, and I think want to keep the ChowNow contract because they get orders from there, but it's significantly cheaper on the website. Came here frequently when worked nearby years ago, and just revisited recently - the quality and value is just superb. I got a Sweet Thing - Cold sandwich with honey turkey and honey ham, and a few veggie modifications on french bread. Large, delicious and satisfying; enjoyed it over the course of two meals. Also got some curly fries with buffalo sauce/toppings which were a little bit soggy but the sauce was so good, I didn't care. When I came here regularly, the salads were reliably fresh and delicious, with generous topping portions. It's worth the parking battle. If you can afford the calories I say eat your heart out. There are endless beverage, chip, and dessert options, it's insane. With so much inventory I'm always amazed at how they manage to keep the store so neat and organized. There are no empty spaces on the shelves, everything is always fully stocked. On my recent visit I placed an order online for pickup and even the website is appealing. You can build your own burger or hot/cold sandwich if you don't want the menu options and they have this easy, detailed check list of toppings, condiments, sauces, etc. for your to pick and choose whatever your tastebuds desire, there is something for every taste palate and they have excellent vegetarian sandwiches as well. As for the pastries, I try so hard to look the other way when I'm in the deli, but I always end up grabbing a sweet treat, like the Oreo cheesecake. They have cake slices, mini pies, bananas pudding, cookies, you name it. Lastly, The employees are always super nice, like literally, the customer service here is the absolute best. Mike's was great I could tell it's a well loved business based on how many times the door opened in my 15 minutes there. I purchased a build your own w my toppings and two meats. I had wondered will it be a full serving of meat for 4.50 extra or just half but as you can see below I shouldn't have been worried. Sandwich was great I think because I got double meat it cut down on my toppings worth trying it once won't need double meat again lol. One of the best deli's I have visited. I stopped by for lunch because I heard great things from coworkers and they did not disappoint. When I ordered, they have a specialty sandwich called the "ZUZU SPECIAL" on squaw bread (pumpernickel). it's a breaded fried chicken patty, Cajun turkey with lots of toppings(I submitted photo of listed items" it comes with Cajun mayo and avocado, but I ordered without with a side of their honey bbq sauce. When you walk in, it's very spacious, two lines for ordering and pick up. (If you want to avoid lunch rush, order online for pick up) as it does get busy around 12-2pm hour. When I tell you it was one of the best sandwiches I had. It was seasoned and stuffed. It's huge inside and they have a wide menu with just about everything from sandwiches, chicken, pastrami, chips, drinks and desserts. They have a lot that they share with two other business. I would definitely order through the website because they have soo many options to make a sandwich, to add special sauces, veggies mustards etc, what you can add and take off items you don't want on a sandwich so you're not overwhelmed because they have TONS of on the website. ended up getting the italian sub $15 and the hot BBQ pastrami $15. Also added 1/2 pound $5potato salad and $7 chicken salad. Everything was delicious. I liked the Italian the best of the bunch. Service was good. I would recommend trying this deli. To say that the parking lot craziness was worth it was an understatement. Deliciousness at its best. Every bite of our sandwiches was filled with loads of freshness and flavor. I thought we would be there for quite some time given the true madness of the parking lot and arrive there around lunch time. But this place has it down! My husband loves it with bacon on it, but I have them set it to the side. It is just great. The tuna is of great quality and it is cooked to perfection. The BLT is also so great because they really know how to cook bacon and the tomato is always thick and ever so fresh. Their burgers are always great and you have to try one of their patty melts.
