No way I would recommend this sh'thole to my worst enemy. Server advises the kids drinks at $2.50 for refills. They lost out on four adult drinks and the servers tip. May be the owner will figure his stuff out or lose his entire staff before he goes h'll may be I should think about the family business instead of just the bikers. Advertised similar to Hogs Breath. Earl's is awesome every single time. Great blues and rock acts every weekend. The service is excellent with cold, cold beer and the best pizza in Florida for $2.75 a giant slice. Erika bartends outside on weekends and is a master! PBR tall boys a must for my guy. Very busy local spot that we visit at least 4 times a year for a weekend or longer camping from DAB. EARLS HIDEWAY RULES- (these are unknown rules DO NOT LEARN THE HARD WAY) OK This is a fun place if you own a Harley or come in a car! If you ride other then a Harley, you will not be served at the front bar! They will simply act as if you are not there. This is the friendly part. I did not know the rules because it was my 1st visit. Then because I parked my Honda "sportbike" in the front row of bikes. I was not served or even acknowledged at the front bar. When I went around the side to fetch a beer someone damaged my bike! As to say. No Jap bike welcome here fool! These are PUNKS with little kid ideas. I bet they don't like BLACKS coming in either. We went here on a Thursday night for bike night. They had a decent band playing. We ordered a pizza later and it was SO SALTY. It was edible, but I would not call it good. Aside from it being salty it was just okay. I'm not sure if the other people saying the pizza was great have ever had really good pizza or we just had a bad one. We would visit again for sure, just not order the pizza. The atmosphere is good and everyone was having a good time. read more

As professional concert photographers that have photographed all over the country. Earl's is our favorite venue to photograph and hear great music at. The venue is mostly outdoors with several covered areas to enjoy excellent bands under. Sundays they book national talent and there isn't even a cover charge. You can walk right up to the stage and grab a few pictures, the food is cheap and excellent, the people are friendly, and there is a great breeze that always blows in from the river. Yes it's a "biker friendly bar" with 2 large dedicated bike parking lots, but there is plenty of car parking nearby. We drive over an hour 2-3 Sundays a month to see great blues and rock bands. We've been there probably 50 times and never seen a problem. Whether you ride, drive, or boat, everybody has a great time at Earl's! read more

Def a local favorite for drinks, but terrible food and service. Rowdy and sometimes loud bar. Not for us.

I am seriously against using the word dive to describe just about any place. Earl's is no exception. We stopped in Saturday for a few cold ones despite the clouds. We sat outside and it was clean and comfortable. Now I'm sure that weekend nights or nights when the bands are playing it gets wild. Hell I'd be one in the front yellin while Molly Hatchet was playing but for a Saturday afternoon it was rather relaxing and fun. Beers were cold, patrons were a lot of fun, and staff was friendly and courteous. I recommend stopping here for a cold one but I do recommend that you judge the time and day to match your likings. Cheap drinks, cheap food (huge slices of thin crust pizza, try it), attentive friendly service. The crowd can be a bit sketchy but there's a lot of room (inside and out) to move around. Nice outdoor stage area and they book decent classic rock bands. Lots of seating. 2-3 pool tables. Small bathroom for such a large capacity bar (as usual with this area). It's located within walking distance of Cap't Hiram's and the Tiki Bar/Grill so it's definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. There isnt a view of the water so that's a bit of a downside. I ride a sport bike, but I wouldn't ride to this locale. The demo is mostly 45+ guys with their brand new Harley's they want everyone to hear as they enter/exit the bar. read more

The only thing I've eaten at Earls is their monster pizza slices and for $2.50 they are more than worth it. The environment is super fun, the drinks are strong, and the waitstaff very attentive. It's also the perfect place to go for people watching. Oh, and they have a claw game that sucked my friend in, but each turn was only a quarter and he won a bunch of random things. read more

If you like dives or biker bars this is your place. Had a down to earth atmosphere and a good live band the night we were there. The bar staff was busy and still very attentive and made sure that we were never thirsty. I enjoyed the outdoor area and would recommend to anyone who is in the area. read more

I've been driving over from Orlando on occasion, to hear the excellent blues music they feature here. Not only that, but I am originally from the area, and not only frequented the joint often, but even played in bands there, too, back in the day when they featured country-western music inside, before they built the tiki bar. The service has been excellent at the outside bar, in particular one female bartender whose name I forget, but she is the best -- friendly, calls me by name, has my drink waiting for me -- just top-notch. But this past Sunday I had a bad experience. I drove over with my little dog, as I always do, to hear my Orlando friends, The David Julia Band, and spent two hours knocking back cold drafts and enjoying the fantastic blues music. That is, until a shriveled up old hag who said her name was "Annie," informed me that my little dog and I were not welcome at the establishment. She informed me that there "used to be signs," and that anyone could see my little dog was upset by all the people, and the loud music. I told her I think I know what is best for my little dog -- seeing as how I am a musician myself, she has been around music all of her ten years... she enjoys the music and adores the attention from the people. Not wanting to cause a fuss, I paid my tab and left immediately, but this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. This is the first and only time I have ever been told that Earl's was not a pet-friendly venue. In fact, there were other dogs there with their owners, and I didn't see them being asked to leave. I would like to know what is the official pet policy of Earl's, and maybe this "Annie" woman could use a refresher course in customer service. Have loved stopping in Earl's for the last year. Great music on the weekends and friendly people. Today for some reason they kept changing the drink prices. Had my first Capt. Morgan and coke for $3.00, second was $4.00 and my third was $5.25. Didn't stick around for a fourth, was afraid to see how much it would be. Guess I'll just nurse a beer (yuck) next time. read more

As locals we have been going to Earl's for years. No we are not bikers but know a fun time when we see it. I can get a round of drinks here for what one will cost up the street, and they are not weak at all. I do think they have one of the best bloody mary's in town. Go on the weekends for great bands with no cover. They have a grill going with a few items but if you want something different take 10 steps and stop in the Pig and Whistle next door. read more

This is a great spot for having a drink by the water and hearing some great live music. Prices are fantastic. The outdoor area with a stage for live music is spacious and has an island feel. We usually go here for drinking and music, not food. We have only tried their pizza, which was a fantastic New York style pie. On the weekends when there is live music, it can get crowded and waits for the bathroom (both men's and women's) can get a little long. read more

If I had children (and I do) it would be obvious when you drive by that it is not for children. You need to get better parenting skills. Earl's is an institution that is loved by our community. what a fun place. good drinks, although the beer could be colder, and very good, inexpensive food. The pizza slices are legendary and deserve their reputation. Easy to park because we're the only customers that drive...everyone else there is on a bike and what great entertainment it is to watch them. We always stop their when we are in the area. My only complaint is that you seem to need to be a regular to get really good service. We had to get the bartender's attention a lot. read more
