Claims to be a Biker Bar, but Bikers and Veterans are not really welcome. If you're a Veteran, or Veteran supporter, with patches on your vest, you will be told to take it off or leave. If you're looking for an upscale place where you are treated like royalty, this is not your place. This is a great dive bar looking out at the water. Locals and non-locals all treated the same. The bartender will take your order when she tells you that she's ready for your order. The breakfast sandwiches are very good. Earl's hideaway is your typical hole in the wall. We rode our bikes from our hotel down Indian River Drive and just decided to stop in there for a drink. Had bloody Mary's which were excellent in flavor and made just great. Those were four dollars apiece. You can't beat that. We saw some of the food that the locals were ordering and did not eat there but decided we just may go there for breakfast the next morning. read more

Stop by here Thursday night and got a pizza. The pizza was enormous and very good tasting. It's a thin crust pizza and you get 6 enormous slices out of it. I also saw they are selling huge slices of pizza for only $3, looks like a good deal. Beer very reasonably priced. The place is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside, there's even another bar outside with a small stage with a band to play at. Earl's is basically awesome. It is absolutely something you can only find in FL. A riverside biker bar? with a sand bar/tiki area? with pool, cheap beer and a jukebox? with an interesting clientele and good food? This is like something out of a movie -- not for the preppy or otherwise faint of heart Earl's is one of the coolest bars around. They have a large collection of regulars they know by name. The interior bar is full of old random stuff, pool tables, drunks and cool old wooden bar. The outside bar is like a rough-and-tumble version of Hirams, but not really all that rough. Its more likely to be empty, the seats are better and the beer is cheaper. Basically, well worth a trip. read more

Earl's Hideway is a true gem in central Florida. We drive all the way from Titusville and it is well worth it! Earl's is a riverside biker bar, although it's friendly and definitely a mixed crowd. There's an indoor-outdoor beachy feel accented by tattoos and Harleys. You really can't beat it for live blues on a great outdoor stage every Sunday and people watching galore. Tons of older women getting down right in front of the stage and bud drafts for $2.50. read more

We would go for dinner and the show. Always have the cheesesteak sandwich which was hands down a "10". Very disappointed to discover the provolone cheese has been replaced with "cheese wiz!" Nasty, runny, orange cheese wiz dripping out of the sandwich....guess we'll have dinner (somewhere else) before going to see the show now. Why would you change something that was so good??? Old people and bikers dancing in the sand and feeling each other up! I LOLed out loud! Young-and-chubby or slightly over-the-hill women awkwardly flinging their arms around (the dancing part) with dudes who were barely keeping their five beers down... Okay, it was New Years so it might not have been exactly representative, but it was a really good time, and there were young people too. Live music, food served late, everybody seemed friendly. Just stopped in for a couple of slices. OMG they were the oldest, dried out, burnt to a crisp pieces of s**t I ever ate. They raised the price to $3.00 a slice to boot...how anyone with eyes could let that leave their kitchen...I have no idea. GROSS! My wife and I live in Sebastian and have been going there for a few years but this is the last straw. This is honestly one of the worst bars in America. The place looks like it is being held up with duct tape. Everything is old and falling apart. The food is horrendous unless it's midnight and you don't care about taste. The atmosphere is based around people drinking in excess with zero accountability from the staff. And it's full of old wanna be tough guys. Somebody should take a wrecking ball to it and start over. It's on an ideal lot. read more

We really love Earl's! We went to see an Eagles tribute band, Long Run, and they were awesome! The beer was cold, the crowd was having a great time and were easy to be around (not too rowdy, polite in the bathroom line, chatty in the bar lines), the burgers were fresh and hot and greasy and awesome! We will definitely go often as we just moved here (native Floridians moving south for the warm).....the types of music hits all of our sweet spots and who doesn't love looking at/talking about great bikes?!? I wouldn't take young kids...language, crowd, booze, etc., (thankfully ours are grown and gone and we can please ourselves!!!) Can't say enough! Great local hangout right in the water....heaven! Earls is a hecka of a fun place to eat and party. The bands are always entertaining and the service is always friendly. The most amazing thing about Earls is the food. The Stromboli, pizza and meatballs are amazing. It's hard to believe how good the food is here but it is really good. I'm only giving 4 stars because on a hot summer day in Florida you need air conditioning to cool off and Earls is open air. Just a great old fashion Florida dive biker bar that is friendly and attracts all sorts of characters. I put myself in that group. Great view of the river.
