I really love this place. This was our first time here and we loved the Thai tea and the brunch food was really flavorful. I ordered the chicken salad for health-- and the sesame dressing was really nice and refreshing. We liked it so much we came for dinner again in one day. I'm from LA and frequent our Thai town and this place is so good and a great benchmark. The neighborhood around here is also pretty cute.

Like, just look at the food. The pictures. I personally had the Shakshouka, and it was freakin' amazing. Wonderfully plated and the egg was just perfectly cooked with the yolk still oozing. The tables were a little crowded to each other which made it slightly noisy. If it wasn't so hot outside, I would definitely consider sitting out in the seats that they have outdoors.

During a nine-day, multi-state road trip somehow jam-packed with amazing dining establishments, Early Owl stands out clearly in my mind as probably the one place that, if I had to point someone in the direction of a memorable brunch place, would probably be my first choice. From the adorable ambiance, to the stellar service, to the inspired and illustrated menu loaded with enough intriguing entrées to incite a minor crisis of choice, Early Owl is truly something special. Any restaurant with Shakshuka on the menu is going to have a hard time tempting me with anything else, but Early Owl did just that. Fortunately, I am good at resisting temptation, so I stuck to my guns, and was rewarded with one of the finest breakfasts I've had anywhere, ever! Similarly, everyone else at the table was enveloped in rapturous delight by their selections, from avocado toast to a simple bagel and bacon, none of us left hungry or disappointed in any way, shape or form. And if I may be real here, for a sec: what other restaurant do you know that has fresh coconut as a beverage option? Seriously. That's how you dunk on your competitors! The early bird may get the worm, but the Early Owl gets the best breakfast in Salt Lake City, so don't sleep on this one, folks!

I'm from WA and we were looking for foodie spots to end our Utah road trip. The food came out a little slower. The servers were friendly and it was good but it seemed over price for what ya got

An explosion of flavors in every bite that I thoroughly enjoyed--some of the best toast I've ever had. They offer a great variety, and everything is very fresh and healthy, yet you can still treat yourself to the mini-pancakes at the end.

Early Owl is located on 9th and is close to so many cool stores! I just got the avocado toast, but the drinks and other food items looked delicious! The staff was really nice and attentive. The decorations and atmosphere were really cute as well! The food was amazing, I want to try more items at this restaurant!

I had the Avocado Toast with extra poached eggs and it was fantastic. Nice you can salt and pepper to your liking. The service was quick and pleasant. Thanks Pam. The inside was very nice. Wood tables and chairs and quiet. Light music in the background. I'll definitely be back. Thank You Thank You !!!

Went there for breakfast a few weeks ago with my husband and daughter and it was pretty good. Services and food were good; we were able to sit outside and it was nice. Coffee and the banana berry smoothie were good. The only thing I didn't like was not having the table set up properly with condiments so every time we asked for anything it would take forever .. My personal rate 8/10. I think some dishes are overpriced because they don't eve include potatoes (which were delicious btw)

A friend was visiting from Costa Rica and wanted to check out the Heavy Metal Shop. While we were waiting for it to open we stopped at Early Owl and it was awesome. I got the Salmon scramble, chrysanthemum hot tea, a side of sourdough, and a side of hollandaise sauce $2.50, definitely worth it . I literally left no crumbs and almost literally licked the plate. Plus the interior is super cute with owl themed decor and huge ceilings. It was so clean and the portions and flavor were all on point. Go here, you won't regret it.

Depending on the time of the day you might have to wait to be seated. The place has plenty of seating, but it can be busy. It is welcoming and cozy place, perfect for breakfast, lunch or brunch. The staff was attentive and even replaced my wife french toast because she didn't like them. "French toast's t are like deep fried toasts". My mini pancakes were excellent and the omelette, delicious.

Driving through Salt Lake and came across this place on Yelp! Did not disappoint, food was delicious and service great. Our server provided great recommendations since it was our first time and we had our 10 month old baby and they provided a high chair and were quick to bring out food! The place is very open with lots of natural light and it's a perfect place to start the day.

In addition to their juices and shots, they have a kombucha bar, apothecary items and even a book section! Wow! The place is clean and organized, and very welcoming. Parking is still tight (especially with the snow on the roads), but otherwise there is some street parking. They also still have their recycling program (bring your clean bottles back for a $0.50 refund). Thank you Bailey, for helping me decide what to get today. I normally go with the Sensei, but today I went with the Merry and Bright and Adrenal Tonic to help with more recovery from my sinus infection. I'm glad I had the time to go visit in store today! overall: kind of casual, but also kind of not cafe vibe serving up all sorts of healthier options…read more I'm not sure how to classify Aubergine Kitchen because it feels kind of fancy and casual at the same time, but it all works incredibly well. Aubergine Kitchen has a large menu for standard meals, but also a la carte items like you'd find at a bakery/cafe. Everything was super speedy and pleasant and the decor was very nice, clean, and modern too. They also have healthier, clean options that are flavorful and delicious. Portion sizes were generous and everything was cooked really well. They got a well-oiled machine working here. I know it's a franchise and I haven't been to other locations, but this one was great.

All of our food was incredible. The bowls were a good portion size, reasonable prices, full of fresh ingredients, and had great flavor. The Brazilian cheese bread was so good. We loved that they had dairy free nice cream and the olive oil pistachio Sunday was so rich and balanced. My only critiques are that I didn't see a kids menu, so we spent more than we'd like to spend on the baked chicken bites and two sides of rice. Also it'd be way more inclusive if single stall restrooms weren't gendered.
