Omg. The black currant latte!! Order it ASAP. It is something I have not seen before and it is soooo delicious. I wish there was a location in Los Angeles because I know I will want this drink again. Service was lovely & very helpful finding vegetarian options as their kitchen location is under construction. It is located in the food court, with plenty of street parking too.

This review is from their food truck near Woodbine. I came hoping to try their popular black currant latte, but they were sold out, which probably means it's as good as everyone says! The staff suggested either the cereal or banana flavor (special of the month). I couldn't decide at first since I was worried they'd be too sweet, but he reassured me they wouldn't be. I decided to be adventurous and went with banana even though I'm not usually a big fan of bananas. I was pleasantly surprised the banana flavor and sweetness were both subtle and balanced. I enjoyed it while sitting outside during the perfect weather. Will def be coming back to try the black currant next time perhaps at their main shop.

This place is great! My only complaint would be it was somewhat hard to find, maybe just put out a more noticeable sign. But once you do find it the service was very nice and quick, I love their fun and changing menu options, and I greatly enjoyed the blueberry pie latte. I also love that they have a little market inside. It's mostly clothes but some decor and home items as well. It's fun to look through while you wait

OC hash with vegan sausage and vegan egg

This place was great! First time here. Got a latte and the OC hash made vegan. The dining area is bright and airy. Really cute decor. The server was an angel she was so sweet and fast at her job. The food was really good too. The house made hot sauce is delicious and VERY spicy but I couldn't stop eating it. If I had to go looking for improvements I think a little bit less of that purple cabbage in the hash would have made it perfect. And the napkins are crazy thin. Maybe buy thicker napkins lol.

Root beer chai & Black currant latte

Such a cute little shop! Parking is a little snug in the lot but street parking is pretty open. The kitschy thrift decor is so fun to look at and there's tons of local artsy quirks throughout the cafe. This used to be a vegan only establishment, now they do offer some dairy/egg products. We tried some of their unique drinks, our favorite being the root beer chai. So well balanced! The black currant latte was unexpected and delicious, the notes of fruit blended with espresso was harmonious. We will be back to try the brunch menu!

One of my top 3 coffee places in Utah. I love the thrift and coffe shop combo. Amazing place to get great tasting coffee. The syrups are done in house and always knock it out the park. The owner is a cool dude.

I had the brewed coffee and a side of avocado, eggs & house potatoes! Everything from the service to the roast and the decor was on point! Highly recommend

The vibe is incredible--vegan cowboy. Old Cuss is a relaxed place to work for a while with super kind employees committed to giving you a quality experience. My vegan butterscotch almond milk latte was was a bit bitter, but very pretty!

Absolutely loved my experience here as a vegan and gf gal! The OC hash is filling and so delicious! Also sipped on a yummy blueberry pie latte:) highly recommend!

Biscuits and gravy w/ side of fries and pancake

It is a very cute café and space, a bit cold though (my toes were freezing off). The music sometimes gets overwhelming. Our server Luke was very kind and helpful. We ordered the blueberry pie latte, which was 10/10. It was odd that they charge extra for alternative milks when they're marketed as a vegan spot. Food did take a while to come out but we got the biscuits and sausage gravy. The gravy was good, but the biscuits were a bit dense and not flaky. We also got a side scrambled egg and a pancake. The pancake was pretty good, but there was no syrup provided. I would definitely come back to try more of their drinks especially the dirty sodas.

The homemade longganisa (Philippine breakfast sausage) itself is incredible with the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and perfect garlicky-ness. If they ever consider selling their longganisa in local Asian stores I will absolutely be first in line. And then they built everything around the longganisa, forming the most beautiful longsilog (longanisa breakfast) sandwich ever imagined with the soft brioche, atchara (pickled papaya), runny egg, cucumber, cheddar cheese with that really mild bite, and spicy mayo (which is very mild, I don't do spicy and it was great). I'm drooling just typing this out. If I lived closer I would be here weekly. It's worth the price (it's also huge/filling, on top of insanely delicious). It's worth the line. Yes, the line can be kind of long so either come early or just make sure you have the time available to you. It will be worth the wait. You can take the buzzer with you into Roots coffee and grab a drink, or pop next door into Ruby Snaps and try some cookies while you wait. The owners/family/employees are all very friendly and helpful with any questions. If I have more opportunities I'll eventually try every sandwich. My friend tried the Bulgogi and loved it. The bite I had was great; the Bulgogi was seasoned really well and it also went fantastic with the brioche. The ribeye meat was really tender. I'd asked for a side of extra atchara with my sandwich not realizing how much was already on it. I suggested to my friend to add it to her Bulgogi because the sweet tanginess from the rice vinegar would complement it well, and she loved the combination -- that is also my suggestion to all of you.

I had the Manila and LOVED the pickled papaya & cucumber paired with the Filipino longganisa, and let's not forget about the fluffy, buttery brioche bun! I just can't get enough! Being a food truck they have a cool set up, a couple seats outdoors and a sweet partnership with the coffee shop next door who offers their patrons a place to sit and eat inside. Can't wait to visit again!

I ordered the fried catfish plate with collard greens and cornbread. The catfish was perfectly golden and crispy on the outside while staying juicy and flaky inside -- seasoned beautifully without being greasy. The collard greens were tender and flavorful without being overly salty, really seasoned perfectly and the cornbread had a great texture -- moist and warm but not overly sweet. And then some bonus surprise hush puppies that were so so good! Crunchy on the outside, soft and savory inside -- it really rounded out the meal and left me smiling. Prices are fair for the quality and portion size (my plate was $21), and the service vibe was friendly and welcoming. The grease they are frying in was ready for a change and it really tainted the chicken and shrimp. Rice was mushy and the potstickers were rock hard. Tiny tacos with subpar meat filled with the sort of gristle you won't enjoy. For $15 I felt ripped off. The burrito was mostly bright orange rice, not the usual light red rice an abuela makes, filled with half melted cheese, and what appears to be canned beans with a sprinkle of that ghastly meat. Not sure what the hype is about but this place is substandard at best. If you're hungry with no options it's better than nothing but really not worth your money at $5 a taco.
