My search for our dream car, a C8 Corvette ended at Earnhardt Ford. Being a out of state buyer I was a bit hesitant to pursue car so far away from home and buying a Chevrolet at a Ford dealership? The car did check most of the boxes on the list so I decided reached out. That's when everything changed because I was contacted by Art Manni. Art is a "Car Guy" and his in depth knowledge and history with muscle cars was incredible, not only that he is a C8 Corvette owner. He answered every question I had in great detail and provided pictures to ease my mind and with that we decided to move forward. After the usual back and forth of any car deal we agreed on a price and then my wife and I were on our way to Arizona to pick up the Corvette. We arrived at Earnhardt Ford and were greeted by Art and given the VIP treatment. The car is was kept indoors in the delivery area were I was able do my final inspection. Well, I am giving the two stars because my salesman was nice enough. So I bought a 2022 Ford Mustang GT Fastback with 9,000 miles on it The dealership AND the vehicle itself are the reasons why I rated this place two stars. The finance department wanted to speak with me. When I called them back, I got this younger guy on the phone who admitted right away that he loved the car that I was buying. When I told him my income, he challenged me on it stateing something negative about my credit score, how could I make that much money?! Which I admit my credit score was less than good at the time, but he had no right to comment on it! Then he proceeded to tell me that he has an 850 credit score and couldn't get that vehicle without 10 grand down on it. He was really rude with a less than respectful tone. Once I had purchased my car and started making my loan payments(which my interest rate was very high and so was my car payment but I was happy to have my car and really didn't realize how badly I got screwed.... until I went to refinance it a year later. The loan specialist told me that I couldnt have gotten a worse loan with worse stipulations on it if I tried!! I had no grace period first of all with my loan. Second of all, the interest rate was sky high and the loan payments were laughable. I guess he was the one who got the last laugh. read more

In the past I have always had exceptional service. This time around I am not impressed with the service guys "son" Jeremy. - I scheduled an appointment to get my recalls completed, and an oil change. - Jeremy informed me it should be ready on Thursday or up to 5 dayshe would let me know. - Asked for a loaner informed they had no loaners available that they have not had any in months. (lie) - While sitting in the waiting area, I heard the employees saying that the mustang rims where in call the customer in and let him know to bring his car in and get him a loaner car so he doesn't have to wait he can keep it as long as he needs it. (really?) I inquired and said well that's different . it shows they would rather take care of people that already have a car and ask for upgrades than someone who has been getting the multiple recalls completed every few months on a truck. - I drop my truck off on Tuesday morning at 7am. I had been texting Jeremy with no response to get an update on my truck on Wednesday. I call and speak with Jeremy on Thursday. I asked why he hasn't responded to my text. He didn't have a reason. I inquired the status on my truck. He informs me that it hasn't been looked at. There's 2 more vehicles in front of me before someone will look at. I asked well have you at least changed the oil. Well no we do alll the work at the same time. I asked if I could please get the oil changed and I will bring the truck in when the tech is ready. i was informed that I cannot do that. You have to get a ticket and your truck has to stay at the dealership. You are second in line and I will give you an update. Well guess what I have not received an update. Thursday went by, Friday, and Saturday and I have not received an update.. - My truck has been parked at the dealership parking lot since for 2+ days after making an appointment and they have not even touched it. It's now Saturday I have checked the mileage and location of my vehicle and they still have not touched or moved my truck Over 4 days and my truck has been parked, not looked, oil change not completed. -The max guys that actually do the work are great. I cannot blame them for the scheduling, or how they treat people... Total lack of communication, not treating all customers as equals. To make an appointment for your vehicle and it just sitting on the lot at the dealership lot for 4+ days and not being worked on.... I could have kept driving my vehicle this whole time until the tech was ready to work on it.I schedule an appointment, the dealership tells you It will take up to 5 days to fix. He assured me they weren't doing that. I drove down to find they had a 10k markup on a 28k truck. Over 25% market adjustment fee. I made an appointment with my service advisor and drop the car off on the day and time scheduled. Simple oil change and tire rotation, recall on seat belt also had airbag light on. They informed me it would take a day and half. at the end of the 2nd day I called, the reply. I will have the service advisor give you a call. My second review of this place. They just keep getting worse... In my two experiences with the Service Dept, both have warranted one star reviews. Should never have gone back after the first time, but I was dumb. Dropped off my truck Tuesday morning, was told it would be done either that afternoon or the next morning. Of course, it was not done that afternoon. Was not done the next morning either, was told it would be done Wednesday afternoon. Well, Wednesday afternoon goes by, still not done, but it'll be done Thursday morning. It is now 12:37 on Thursday afternoon, and is still not done. Two lost days of my time. Found out I could have had it fixed at Christian Brothers the same day. Now I'm very frustrated. Told the service advisor that I'm picking my truck up at 2:00pm today and it had better be ready. I will have it towed out of there if need be. Should never have given them a second chance. There will not be a third. Edit: When I arrived around 2pm to pick up my truck, things got even worse. A manager named Tom came over to tell me was review could be damaging and that it was incorrect. The service advisor claimed he never told me when my truck would be ready. That is false--we discussed that when I dropped off my truck Tuesday morning. I also have a text thread of the later times I was told it would be ready. They tried to say I was wrong. How could a text from the service advisor be wrong? It's literally from him. There is an entire conversation in the text thread, with eta updates. Tom also tried to say I'd never brought a vehicle in for service before. Again, this is false. I attempted to bring my Mustang in twice for routine maintenance approx three years ago. Had so many problems with them, I gave up and went elsewhere. So, they definitely don't have a service record of that vehicle, even though I attempted to bring it in twice. There is probably a record of the appointment I had made three years ago though. I know I was in their system, because when I called last week to make this appointment, and gave them my phone number, she asked me if it was for a 2020 Mustang. I told her no, it is for a different vehicle. Tom also accused me of bringing my truck in for repair to try and claim it for warranty work to try to get it repaired for free. An absolutely insulting accusation. When I dropped the truck off Tuesday morning, I told the advisor I was certain it was rodent damage. I had absolutely no expectation that would be covered under warranty, I knew I would be paying for the repair. Tom did apologize when I got upset about the false accusation. The level of rudeness from the service dept is almost incomprehensible, and speaks poorly upon the dealership as a whole. I have purchased three brand new Fords (with cash, in full) in the last four years, but will never purchase from, or get service from, this Earnhardt Ford dealership. not honest. go figure. after the lie, I get a explanation much like a child as to why they lied. when caught in said lie they deflect and make excuses for lie. they never made good on floor mats detailing of vehicle or chip in window for some reason it (the chip) being on the passenger side it is a none issue and should only be fixed. all I can say is RUN DONT WALK OUT OF THAT DEALERSHIP! they actually think I would ever step foot on their property again is beyond me. bring my car to you, really??? I can not even begin to describe the disappointment that has been purchasing a brand new vehicle from this dealership. From happily trading in my previous vehicle and purchasing a brand new truck I was expecting an easy transaction and no issues while I bridge the time before the Lightning comes out. From having a couple questions about why my new vehicles mileage was high and being threatened to have it repo'd from my driveway in the most unprofessional manner to never having the agreed upon scratches fixed after purchase; this has been the most difficult experience by a long shot that I have ever had with a dealership. I never wanted to return the vehicle and had to physically meet with the GM to explain the misunderstanding that the other manager seemed to take from my questions. The scratches that were agreed to be addressed at purchase never were. The bed liner that I was inquiring about was never discussed further to install. All because the call back I was told I would receive never came and my calls were not being answered. Their phone service was having issues back when I bought the vehicle, but I'm not sure that explains my call being hung up on today after a single ring or the following 3 call attempts to the dealership ringing continuously til I hung up each time. All I was looking for today was to see if I had any credits towards an oil change but I can't even get a hold of the dealership via phone and frankly don't have the desire to email a service department for a simple question and/or to setup the oil change. The only positives I have taken away from this is the vehicle itself being exceptional, as expected, and the sales rep treating us well in the beginning until she was probably told not to. With how rough this service has been I'm going to just choose to not attempt to even repair this relationship. I'm deciding to move on and take my business elsewhere where service and respect are valued. The location and convenience of this dealership are not worth the effort. read more

Absolutely the WORST deal I have ever been involved in with purchasing a vehicle. Found a truck online , went down to the dealership same day ( March 31) and put down a deposit to purchase the truck. The sales guy said the truck needed to go through their "100 plus point inspection " and detail the truck to brand new like it just came from the show room. I was super excited as this was going to be my first diesel & one that the family will enjoy for a long time to Come. Well , 4 days within communication from the sales guy . I then had to reach out and see where we were in the process. He told me to come down and test drive the truck and take it home since it was completely cleaned and oil changed and ready for the road. Well I take a day off of work to go get the truck and when I get to the truck i noticed chemicals dripping on the side & corrosion on the paint. When I opened the cab to look inside I found the back seat of the truck COVERED in dog hair. I lifted the back seat up and found multiple chewed up dog toys and TRASH ! I then looked at the front of the truck and found layers of dirt on the inside of the air vents & chewed up dials that I was told would be changed. I was in complete shock at the fact that it took 5 days to " clean and detail " and it was trashed. If they didn't take any pride in the cleaning of the interior ... did they even look under the hood or change the fluids as they stated they would ??!! Fast forward 2 weeks and multiple calls for a refund on my deposit & no answer Absolutely a horrible experience with Earnhardt Ford. read more

I am a little disappointed that I have leave such a bad review about, Earnhardt Ford. My wife, and I, went looking for a bigger vehicle, for our family of four. We decided on a 2020 Ford Explorer ST. I really want to highlight the exceptional care we got from salesman, Bill. He treated us like family. He took interest in our five year old son, resulting in him having a blast during a normally boring car shopping day. Bill, you're awesome! Long story short, we picked our Explorer ST, and waited to sign all the paperwork with the finance guy. Once it was our turn, things went downhill. This guy was a pompous jacka$$. I am a 100% disabled veteran, and I inquired about the license tax that should be exempted for veterans like myself in the State of Arizona. The finance man made every excuse in the book in order to not do any extra paperwork. Here's the offensive part...he didn't know my veteran status, and started explaining the laws in Arizona. I stopped him in his tracks, and said, I know the laws in Arizona. My veteran status exempts me from those taxes. He then precedes to say, just pay the tax, contact the ADOT, and they "should " send your money back. If they don't, call me. He shockingly mentioned a veteran that was in his office the previous day, who had no limbs, and he helped him with his exemptions. Finance Guy, if you are reading this, NOT ALL VETERANS THAT ARE 100% DISABLE, ARE MISSING LIMBS!! That's when I had to force myself, with severe PTSD, to tell him that I was 100% rated through the VA. The man would not believe me otherwise, because I probably "looked" healthy to him. I almost exploded in that office, and my wife knew it, as she grabbed my hand to soothe me. Folks, I bought a new car last year from a Toyota dealership. They had zero problems taking care of the vehicle fee exemptions. It was really a night, and day experience when comparing these two dealerships. In the end, I will not be returning to this dealership to purchase another vehicle. I would also advise others in a similar situation, to look elsewhere. If you are a disabled veteran, with two arms/two legs, get ready for this finance guy to question your integrity. read more

Service is no good. I took my mustang here to be fixed. It would leak when it rained. They straight up said I was lying because I had no video proof. They claimed to have washed my car but my car was not wet at all when I got it back. Neither was it clean. This is the worst dealership I have ever experienced working with. I inquired about a vehicle listed on their website and the salesman told me it would had a 20k markup. When I said I wouldn't be paying that, he said it was something we could negotiate down. I told him I didn't want to drive an hour if the price was 20k different than what was listed. He assured me that we would be able to work out a deal and that markup was negotiable. I drove all the way down and the car was a mess, completely dirty, wrong packages than what was told to me. When it was time to sit down and talk numbers, he pressured me by using off the wall sales tactics and asking if he could charge me a bit less for leather seats. I told him to come down on the 20k or I would be leaving and he said he wouldn't be able to. He then ended up texting me for two weeks after, because no one in their right mind would have purchased that thing for 20k over asking. Ford corporate has stated they don't back dealerships doing this to people. This is literally the highest markup in the Country. Even Santan and Larry H Miller don't markup more than 5k. Anyway, I ended up buying from Sanderson and there is a reason they are number 1. They treat their customers like gold and that is why customer's will return to keep buying their vehicles from them. read more

If I was able to give a zero rating I would. Talked to both the customer service manager and the service manager and neither one of them care about satisfying the customer. How can a dealership not have oil to do an oil change two times after going in for other service work? Spent 70k on a truck and would definitely NOT recommend anything that has to do with this dealer. They don't even "try" to make things right!! They can't turn a negative into a positive! My recommendation would be to send these managers to learn how to deal with upset customers and turn things into a positive. Stay away far, far away!! read more

Review for Service Center only!! While in the Chandler area on vacation, my 2020 Ford Explorer had an error pop up after going over a speed bump. I had the error pop up one other time about two weeks prior but it went away and didn't pop back up until this incident. Since I drove here from Colorado and was planning on driving to Kingman later in my trip, I figured I better have it looked at to see what was causing the error. Called and spoke to a nice lady in service late Monday afternoon. I explained what was going on and that I was from out of town etc, she said that I could drop it off anytime between 6pm-8pm and drop the keys in the Dropbox, and the technicians would look at it within 24-48 hours depending how busy they were the next day. Next day I get a call from Gena in the service department. She explained that they probably wouldn't get a chance to look at it until Thursday morning, however she found that there were 2 recalls that needed to be done so she was sending it over to their recall department on site and would have the recalls done while my car was waiting to get looked at. Seriously how awesome to get these things done that I have been meaning to get done but kept forgetting to (they weren't anything major) So Gena calls me Wednesday afternoon and explains that all the recall stuff is done (awesome) but they aren't able to replicate the error I had been getting regarding the 4wd Fault. And she was calling to see if she could keep it another day and what my plans were since I had mentioned on Tuesdays phone call about heading to Kingman later in the week. I said we decided on staying in the area until Friday so she could definitely keep my Explorer Thursday to try and replicate the error. And thank goodness they did. Gena calls me Thursday afternoon said the service tech took it out and finally got the error I was getting. They found out it was a bad sensor, and they luckily had the sensor in stock and had it fixed and ready for me to pick up!!! Honestly MAJOR KUDOS to Gena and Clayton in the service department. Seriously they went above and beyond to help an out of state Ford vehicle owner. Thank you so much for everything Gena!!! Seriously you made my trip even better now I know my vehicle is in tip top shape, especially for the rest of my vacation and trip back to Colorado And thank you to Clayton for finding and fixing the sensor, and the techs that fixed all my recalls!! Honestly by the way I was treated in the service department, I might just come down to Chandler and buy my next vehicle here!!! read more
