What a disappointment. I did all the usual things a person does. I researched the vehicle I wanted. Went in. Spoke to sales man. Made a fair deal. Got a cashier check to purchase the vehicle. Heading back with cashiers check when I learn the rebate I was offered isn't real. Rebate is only good if you use Ford Financing. They KNEW this but sent me to get a cashiers check anyway. Only when signing the final documents do they let you know the rebates only apply if you finance through Ford. They KNEW I wanted to purchase the vehicle outright. Their rationale is: -Who cares that you just tied up a LOT of money for 90 days while the cashiers check get put back. It's a very silly process. -Just finance through Ford them pay it off after the first month. Win-Win right? No it's not, it's the dealer exploiting their PARTNER and making more work for the customer. They tout "honesty, integrity, transparency" but it's the same old shady deals. Quick money for them and too bad for anyone else in the deal. When I spoke to the "Sales Manager" he didn't seem to see a problem. I asked if we can just make the deal that we all agreed to and he told me that deal isn't going to be made unless I finance through Ford. When I questioned why the sales man and sales manager made this dishonest deal yesterday he said that's how these deals are made. If you want to do business with an honest dealer, look elsewhere, because all you will get at this dealership is the shady, dishonest practices that leave you wondering why they think is okay to be so dishonest. TL;DR: If you want someone to lie to your face and don't have an ex to turn to, the shady men at Earnhardt will be more than happy to smile while lying to you read more

The advisor I had was rude over their text messaging platform and failed to communicate any updates for 48 hours after I dropped my vehicle off for a recall fix. Minimal communication about timelines and a little manners goes a long way in customer service and this individual either needs training, coaching or firing. read more

"PLENTY OF BULL" I was so disappointed with the sales department. All the commercials say "NO Bull Pricing" and that is so far from the truth. All I got was Bull!!! I found a truck on line listed on their website for 68,200.00. It said contact for best pricing. So I sent a request and several days later I received a response back from Windy Devlin informing me that the pice listed on line actually is not accurate. The real price was 10k higher because the Ford Raptor is popular truck so it really is 78,200.00. So when I questioned her about why online it said 68,200.00 and I wanted to purchase it for listed price she didn't have a answer and stopped corresponding with me. The shop does good work here however, my 2022 Ford truck was in here twice and both times for warranty items; the service rep never gave me a rental car. My friends who have older models of GMC trucks both have had their cars in in the last week and both got rental cars from GMC, makes me not want to buy a Ford again especially from Earnhardt. This is frustrating and seems like bad service. So if you buy a ford you are on your own for warranty work and you will be out days with out a vehicle. read more

Earnhardt Ford Service is a disgrace to the Ford name and an insult to the very concept of "service." Don't be fooled by their slogan. Their vehicle report cards are full of BULL. For the past 5 years I've taken my 2012 Focus to Earnhardt's for their QuickLane to service my vehicle and alert me to maintenance concerts. This time I dropped my car off to get a headlamp replaced and do a routine servicing. They handed me a vehicle report card when I picked up my car telling that they tested my headlamps and confirmed they were operational, but the light was still dead. They tried to reschedule me to bring it in weeks later and it took insisting on talking with a manager to get them to look at my car that same week. Then when they went to look at my car, it allegedly had an urgent $400 repair that was needed... okay. And the headlamp was going to cost about $400 as well. This time I decided I'd better check their work before I left, so I opened the hood. It did appear they had done the work they claimed this time, however my washer fluid cap was missing! One of their guys came over and told me that they're cheap and crack from the heat, so it probably fell off somewhere and I can go buy one from the parts desk if I want. Eventually they found my cap that the technician had neglected to reinstall. I expressed my frustration and lack of trust with Earnhardt's service and showed him the vehicle report where they lied about the tests that they perform. His response was dismissive; "oh, well you know that's just a computer print out..." The only person who actually apologized to me for their mistakes and lying was the new guy who moves cars around the lot. Anyone who wore a blue shirt didn't seem to care one iota about destroying a customer's trust or doing anything to rebuild it. It didn't matter how many times I tried to explain the situation to different people there, they had no interest in addressing the fact that they're lying to their customers about the services they perform. Beginning to end, it took A WEEK to get my car back and cost me an arm and a leg. Since they had to keep my car over a weekend, they were kind enough to give me a Fiesta as a loaner. That's the closest thing to customer service they could muster. If you want a shop that's not going to do the work you request, that's going to return your vehicle with missing parts, that's going to suggest that you just buy the parts they lost, and that's going to lie to you on paper about the tests and work they've done, then Earnhardt Ford's Service department is the shop for you. Seriously that's the kind of incompetent, tone-deaf, rip-off "service" you can expect from Earnhardt Ford. They don't care about honesty, integrity, or satisfaction. We came here after out 02 Focus died. We went in on a "pretty approved" application. The appointment was at 9 and it was nothing like other are describing on here. We told them what we had for a down payment. The awesome sales man showed us a 09 Focus with 27000 mimes with a 7 years warranty. Then he showed us a Fusion with 80,000 on it. We agrees upon the Focus. He ran our credit and we got approved. We didn't hassle on a price, he wanted an "X" amount for down payment, but it was more then we had. He would leave and come back a few minutes later. By the end ( after bout four times) our down payment was down to what we wanted, the price of the car dropped by 2 grand, and monthly payment feel well under what out limit was (all without haggling over it). Someone said on here they force you to ho through Ford financing, which is untrue. We are through Wells Fargo. Anyways, today, 3 months after buying our car, we received a check in the mail from Earnhardt for an over payment of the registration. We never would of known, they are honest and refunded us almost two hundred bucks. When TeX (who was there) says "This ain't no bull" he means it. I also noticed that the heater was not blowing on my feet when I selected that position. I brought it in Thursday morning at about 9am. I did not receive it back until Wendsday evening after work at about 8pm. 6 days they had my truck!!!! I did receive a complimentary rental car during the days they had it. HOWEVER, I just got contacted saying that I owe $65 for the rental car because Earnhardt Ford will only pay $30 a day for it. I was not informed of this!!! AND 2 OF THE 2 ITEMS WERE NOT EVEN FIXED!!! But wait, I was billed $252.00. Please find another place to work on your vehicles, and if you happen to know of one that doesn't take advantage of the customers, please let me know. read more

Did not buy today, but was shopping around for a used car, with a specific make and model in mind - Ford Fusion Titanium Hybrid with Eco. Jose Ramirez was very helpful with noting specifics that I did not even consider when searching for a vehicle. I never felt any pressure to buy and he was very honest and genuine, even after I determined that the dealership did not have in stock what I was looking for. I recently purchased a new 2022 Ford Explorer ST-Line from Earnhardt Ford. Included in the purchase of my vehicle was powder coating my wheels gloss black and weather tech floor mats. About a month after my purchase I reached out to the salesman and asked if the floor mats and powder coating was available yet. I was scheduled to drop off my vehicle last Tuesday for powder coating. I picked up my vehicle the next day in the late afternoon. The following morning I noticed a valve stem cap was missing from one of my wheels. I take a look at the rest of my wheels and notice another cap was replaced with a different color cap. I start looking closer at my wheels and noticed lots of scratches and debris in the powder coating. I also noticed there were dings along the edges of my wheels. Keep in mind I bought this car brand new a little over a month ago. I reached out back to the dealer and sent them photos of my wheels. They told me to bring my car back the next week so they could fix the issues. I dropped my car off today and the employee in the accessories dept told me that the scratches in the finish were unavoidable and the ding along the edge of the wheels were from manufacturer defect. I don't agree. I think they were careless with handling my wheels and careless with the quality in the finished product. To me, they were more focused on getting the job done quickly vs. quality work and product. They said they'll "try" to fix it, I'll update my rating per their quality of work when I get my car back. read more

I cannot speak to their service department. However, their sales department is atrocious. They mark up their vehicles at a ludicrous level. I am all for folks making money but at MRSP dealers make a good profit. These folks mark it up on some vehicles another 10000 dollars and then add on other stuff. Price gauge much? I would not only never recommend this organization but I would also recommend everyone avoid them. The employees are very nice and respectful, but the organization is predatory, greedy and just plain wrong. Finally, they low ball your trade in. I have looked and provided my vehicle info in several websites. This company is several thousand dollars less than any other site, in a market that is dying for used vehicles. During the course of service a team member for Earnhardt Ford incorrectly energized the electrical system in such a way that it caused the following damage to occur: 1. The A/C motor and fuses were blown out 2. The alternator was blown out 3. The air suspension fuse(s) or related components were damaged 4. The CD player was blown out 5. The map/navigation player was blown out It should also be noted that the Service Advisor stated we needed to replace parts that DO NOT EVEN EXIST on this vehicle. Problems not fixed as of today. Dealer has had vehicle for over ~ 60 days... I would give Earnhardt Ford Service a well-deserved 1 star rating. I would avoid Earnhardt Ford Service at all cost. You will see other yelp comments where the dealership has caused additional damage to vehicles in their possession. My experience with this dealership was the WORST in the 5 brand new cars I've purchased in my life. I started of course looking for cars online, and came across exactly what I wanted at this dealership. Their OWN website (not a 3rd party) has a "Start in Home Purchase" option. This is meant to save all the hassle at the dealer, including the sales price, qualifying and seeing what your APR will be. I submitted my application online for the exact vehicle I wanted (against the vin). After the inquiries on my credit, I was given the online Sales Price of the vehicle, the APR, and even my monthly payment after tax title and license. Their website congratulated me on my purchase, and had me schedule an appointment the next morn to come in and sign the paperwork (said should take no longer than 45 min at this point since all the before mentioned was completed). The following morning I get a call at 8am from Art (salesperson) explaining that the website sales price was incorrect and that they would not be selling the vehicle to me unless I agreed to $5k more than what the website told me plus TTL. I of course was upset cause I thought I had a vehicle already purchased at a price and just needed to sign for it. After voicing my frustration (very calmly I may add) Art essentially told me "Well either way it will sell this weekend, even if you don't get it". What a crappy response. He requested I send screenshots of my purchase which I did send (4 total) then said he would have the sales manager call me. An hour goes by and the Sales Manager calls me with the same "oh well" attitude. I finally said OK I get it, let's talk about what you CAN do for me now. He gave me a new Sales Price on the same vehicle/exact VIN at what was now $38k before tax title license, est $43k OUT THE DOOR price after I specifically asked him. Even though I was already frustrated I agreed, he said he would pull my application, adjust the numbers and call me back. An hour went by and I hadn't heard from him so I text the original salesperson. He text me back saying THEIR SALES MANAGER made a mistake and it was $43k BEFORE TTL and the our the door price would be around $48k now. So in less than 12 hours I "purchased" a vehicle online through their website for $38k and now it was up 10 more grand to $48k. I told them forget it this is shady business, their Sales Manager who is in CHARGE of the whole sales floor gave me a price AFTER the website error and they should honor that. They didn't care. This would have been my first Ford vehicle and my 6th new vehicle. Earnhardt is supposed to be one of the if not the best in the valley, but out of 6 new car experiences they were the worst!! I will NEVER deal with them again and will make sure to tell people about this terrible experience and attitude from this sales dept. I hope the General Manager sees this and does something about this experience. Not to mention the multiple hits on my credit for nothing at this point! read more

I called to get a quote for replacing my battery and filters by Todd and I get quoted $580 before processed and I said hold on on the battery the second time and then he said we have a package deal with everything including labor for $266 and I said wow it's a deal I'll do it I get to ford to pick up my car Saturday and they changed the price to 266 to 480 and I said no that was not what was told to me after my inspection I declined manager changed it to 266 and I get a call Tuesday morning after Memorial Day Todd lecturing me on pricing when I had my family in the car hearing the price on the phone given by Todd , Earn-heart please lecture to communicate better other than saying they are off duty and not find any reports because it's wasting my time, Don't go here if you got an appointment. Horrible experience. I went in for a routine oil change. When I went to the main service lane I was told I was in the wrong service lane and to take my car around the corner to another lane. I also needed a new key fob in which I was then directed to 3 different people because everyone's excuse was "oh we don't do that, go over there". I then was advised of my cars service check in which my car needed some more attention which I understood and approved. However I was not advised of the timing. After 2 hours I was finally told that was all done and I asked for the new key fob. They said that wasn't completed and another area would have to do that and that I have to drive my car from oil change to another service area to get. I said "ok is that going to be another hour?" In which he replied "no it will be way quicker". So I approved. It then took an hour and a half way longer than communicated. So 3.5 hrs later of me sitting there and being attacked by car salesman trying to sell me cars on their lot. Everyone could see the frustration on my face but all they cared about was their little pizza party. I paid 2 different statements because everyone is so separate and you have to see different people. I was asked to take 2 surveys about my experience in which I did and was honest about how I felt. This then led to constant harassment of phone calls and e-mails from that Mr.Watson who comes on strong about how wrong I was as the customer and defending his team not caring at all about the customer experience or customer perspective. I'll probably get attacked for this too but at this point I feel people need to know. All they care is about their ratings and will attack and defend if it's not what they want to see instead of seeking to understand and showing they care. read more

Would not recommend this dealer to anyone. They had my truck for almost two weeks for a coolant leak that was obvious. After a week I was finally quoted 8k$. Part of the estimate was "shocks look worn". I expect dealers to tell me what's wrong not "looks" wrong. The other part of the estimate was additional coolant leaks that were not previously there. After additional research I found that these additional leaks are common following a coolant system pressure test on the Ecoboost. Speculation is that dealers are over pressuring the system and causing the additional leaks. Had one additional leak that stopped within a week of picking up the truck. After 40 plus years and 9 Ford vehicles, I have abandoned Ford and purchased a RAM. The over engineered Ecoboost and it's numerous problems being ignored by Ford was the decision maker. read more

I would not believe it if I did not live through it! We have multiple Ford Vehicles and have used this dealership for years but NEVER again! My husband hit a puddle during one of the monsoons and it damaged the right side skid plate. We took it in. It was too damaged to fix so new part ordered and put on. Then within two days it fell off again. Took it back and was told we must have done something to it. Really this was OUR fault?? So they didn't need a new part this time and fixed it but of course charged us a bunch more money. Then two days later the other skid plate came off. Well this is a different side so once again we paid to have it fixed. The customer service was horrendous. The manager was rude and took no responsibility. I asked what to do if it fell off again and she basically told me there was nothing they could do. Outrageous!! Don't go here!! read more

Very glad you replied. You publicly confirm you won't honor your techs mistake. If he doesn't remove the panel for the oil change, it shouldn't have been removed, too late break (oops). You also prove your not flexible. You proved publicly you won't provide the part your tech broke but would only do labor. Haven't you done enough damage? Why would I let you touch it again after not backing it up. You're reply was perfect for the public to see your true colors. Seriously, go to San Tan. These guys suck and return your car broke when it arrives in fine for routine maintenance. Wow. Looking at these reviews I should have looked before trusting them with my pick up. Took it in for an oil change and shortly after, the lower apron broke. I took it in for a warranty repair, which was denied. San Tan Ford said they had seen it before and they generally see this when the front clip isn't installed correctly when completing an oil change and that I should take it to the servicing dealer, who made a mistake. Well, Earnhardt did the oil change and now refuses to honor their work and actually said it was the lead tech who did it and that they do hundreds every week and that they wouldn't have made that mistake. In their generosity, they offered to split the repair with me. I get to cover parts and they can handle labor. How is that fair? They brake it and will do the 15 minute install when I uy a $120 part. The interesting part is that I have a parts quote (in-hand) from San Tan for $73. Wow, so they must be uncharging to cover the "free labor." Then they discredit me by saying they didn't know how that's possible because even the list price isn't that low. Your comment validates my claim. Denial of damage and not backing up a factory warranty. I will gladly perform the labor of you cover the parts. The plate wasn't damaged. It either "broke itself" or a technician made a mistake and is dodging the bullet at my expense. Like I said, your couple star rating speaks volumes. Now the world sees you blowing smoke. If you were disappointed, you would fix your mistake or honor my counter where I do thr labor and you cover parts. If that happens, I'll gladly fix your mistake for you. Sounds like it shouldn't have been removed. This said, you are the ones who turned the wrench, how was it incorrectly installed if you didn't remove it. Since they were so generous to want to split cost for their mess up, I told them I would accept the split but they could cover the part and I would handle labor myself. Of course they say no and then stated "we don't give away free parts." Wow is all I can say. I told them I won't be back and they were OK with that, so buyer beware. Stay away. As they declare, they do it so much they don't make a mistake like that. Well, nobody else touched it and it didn't hit anything. San Tan has been nice and fair. Take a few miles and get the good service you deserve when you are paying the higher dealer price to get people specified in your vehicle. I would have been better off with a Jiffy Lube! read more

Tried to drop off my truck this morning for an oil change and they wouldn't do it and first appt was 3 weeks out . Mind you this is where I always got my service done and this is where i use to purchase my new trucks . Things started off ok when I made an appointment to have an air bag recall, an oil change, and to replace a cabin air filter. I also asked for an estimate to have my drivers door repaired. After I was called back and given the estimate on the door I asked that we skip that this time around. I was told my car would be available by the end of the day. Well at the end of the day I received contact from the service manager who indicated my car would not be ready and that He would be in contact Saturday when I could pick it up. Well my car was not ready on Saturday either an I was ok with it because they had given me a rental. Well Monday I was finally contacted that my car was ready except that the cabin air filter was part of an assembly that was needed and it would cost $400. I have had my cabin air filter changed several times over the years and it's been about $65-$75. I mentioned that to the guy and he basically ignored what I said and indicated it would about $400. So, I contacted Sanderson Ford who I fully trust and they confirmed that a cabin air filter should be about $60. Depending on my generosity in the morning after I've had time to calm down, I may report them to the BBB. ******updated 6-30 The dealership under the management of Jim has done a great job following up on this and I am going to give Earnhardt another opt for my business. I've had my new explorer for 2 months, brought it in for 5 issues under warranty. They had my vehicle for 3 days, only fixed 2 of the issues. No courtesy vehicle, no pick up when the car is supposedly fixed. Not feeling the customer service. I thought they advertised 5 star service but I'm definitely not seeing it. This is very subjective but I would assume anything five star is going to be pretty good. I would rate my experience just below average. We'll see how it goes for the remaining 3 issues. read more

Oh my God these guys are absolutely the worst. It took a week for me to book a service appointment. I drop my car off as scheduled waited a whole day only to call in the afternoon and find out that it's 24 hours after I bring my car in before they're even able to look at it I had to Uber home and Uber to come pick it up such a waste of time and energy with a lousy dealership. I dont know what happened today. I worked through Costco auto buying program. Preapproved my credit, which is excellent. Was told my purchase price was 23,700 and walked out financing a price of 29k. Im laying here awake trying to understand what just happened. Its like card tricks. It happens so fast and before you know it, all those super deals and rebates and savings disappear. Ugh. Im angry at myself. I paid 899 for some stolen vehicle recovery program. Had no idea what it was, and why i didnt insist it be removed, I dont know. Beware of Earnhardt Ford! They are selling on offer up under the username Houston selling fass lift pumps that are mismarked and only put out 10 PSI! They scammed me and will not give me the correct pump after I've already installed this on my truck. They printed out stickers and put them on the box and everything! the pump is really a tf17 150g (assists factory pump) advertised as a tf17125g I brought this to the attention of the (rude) management there yet they still have them listed for sale! I just want what I payed for but this is as crooked as it gets! FALSE ADVERTISING and this dealership does not care at all! Not only could this pump damage my truck I've wasted a full week trying to figure out that they sold me a 5 year old part that is not what I paid for. John the general manager will not even speak to me on the phone. I'm not sure what John Dustin and Houston are up to but they just scammed me out of over $500 and 80 hours of my time. My husband and I went to this dealership in the summer so that he could get an oil change for his Ford Focus. We usually try to stay away from dealerships for these types of things, as we prefer to support local, family-owned repair shops instead. However, due to time restrictions, we made an appointment here as a last resort. The whole experience was awful and I absolutely regret ever considering this dealership for anything to do with our vehicles. Although the oil change service was fairly priced, we were given a laundry list of things that were "wrong" or "broken". More than half of these things had either just been replaced, or were not even included in the vehicle itself to begin with. And these places wonder why most customers are suspicious... And if that wasn't bad enough, the service assistant sat there and argued with us for no reason at all. Stating that "Ford knows what they are doing" and that they are "experts in the field". Uh huh...sure. We also noticed that my husband's car had been vandalized and his Ford logo plaque on the front hood had been stolen from the vehicle. I had brought my Ford Ranger in for service a while back due to a Check Engine light being illuminated. Long story short they charged me for a service that did not solve the issue and couldn't seem to provide any resolution. After the initial drop-off I was informed my truck was ready for pick-up and upon arrival at the service station my truck was delivered to me with the Check Engine light still illuminated. I informed the service writer and he was perplexed as to what had happened. I left the truck there and a few days later received a call indicating my truck was repaired and ready for pick up. About a mile down the road from the dealer the light came back on. So I returned and informed the service writer what had happened. At this point having already paid for a service that was not completed I was offered a rental car, at my own expense, to make things better. Not exactly the best customer service. After the third time and still not being able to provide resolution I asked for a refund and took my business elsewhere. I was also offered a free vehicle wash which ended up causing some damage to the plastic shroud around the grill. They did take ownership of that and ordered a replacement part, paint matched it, and installed at no cost to me. Needless to say I did not have a memorable experience with this dealer. I have however been back since to purchase some items from the parts counter and the staff there are friendly. read more

Check engine light on? What the what? We just bought this truck from another Ford dealership in Tucson 3 weeks ago and my guy was NOT happy when that lovely little symbol lit up on his dash. On our way to Flagstaff for NAU graduation and then northern California for work so this was not acceptable. I have nothing but praise for the Earnhardt Ford service team, especially the manager who came to our rescue. We were initially told it would be several hours before they could even look at the truck to see what the issue could be, possibly even the next day. WITHOUT being a jerk/dick, my guy was able to convey his disappointment and urgency for us to be on our way so the manager was consulted and this wonderful man got us right in. They were even able to get the truck diagnosed without having to take the trailer off. So incredibly helpful and quick! The manager was even able to explain how our extended warranty worked in this situation. I'm very thankful that Earnhardt Ford was on our way and we were treated so well. Superb customer service. Scheduled a service appointment a week ago for a transmission software recall and 10k service. It's all in the appointment - they knew what was coming. I dropped the vehicle off at the scheduled time, 12:00pm 9/17. They have had my vehicle for over 24 hours and haven't bothered looking at it. Seriously. Haven't bothered AT ALL. Not sure WTF the necessity of an appointment is just to let my vehicle sit on their lot. It's not like the vehicle needed a vacation from my garage. Turns out there's a secondary recall notice no one told me about. Had to fight to get my car back because the loaner went work for my purpose. My backup camera is non functioning after service. Back to 1 star. read more

I would NOT recommend this dealership for service. The scheduler was rude and when I asked for a manager she sent me to her friend who lied and said she was a manager. Once I got to the service department to get my car checked out they quoted me 80.00 more than San San Ford. When I asked why, the response was you can take your car there. I am traveling and could not wait so had to pay. The customer service is terrible and when you see the reviews I should have known better and never taken my car there. Super disappointed and will never be back to them. read more

He is very, very knowledgeable, friendly, prompt and most importantly responsive and honest. The dealership itself is almost done with a complete remodel and it is stunning.
