The owner also is very sociable and enjoys talking about this food in a variety of languages with passers by and customers. Our group ordered a little bit of everything - all with garlic noodles as the side since it seemed to very popular based on the reviews. We went with the mochiko chicken (animal style), spicy ahi poke, and pork belly. Mochicko chicken was good, but some pieces were cold and fatty which wasn't very pleasant. The animal style sauce was really tasty, and didn't overpower the chicken, it complimented the plate well! The noodles weren't very garlicky at all, definitely felt it was lacking flavor. Poke was good, but the pieces of fish were in pretty large chunks. Lastly, the pork belly was just okay. As a local, I think this place is a good introduction for tourists to get a taste of local flavors. But definitely hit up some other local spots even Zippy's for comparison. Maybe I just went on a off day. To end off on a positive note they do offer a few vegetarian and vegan options!

The pesto goat cheese pizza is one of the great pizza's known to humankind. Tofu chunks w/ white sauce, Pad Thai, mufalata sandwich. I can taste them all in my mind. The best, much mahaloz.
