The food is Indian spicy (not American spicy) so Medium was enough heat for us so kids could eat it too. After we were done eating, we wanted boxes to go and to pay. However, given that they were short staffed, the server did not come to our table since he was taking orders/fending off unreasonable requests by someone who wanted a preferential treatment over the rest of the families waiting patiently in line. I ended up going in the back near the kitchen and one of the other servers was nice enough to hand me the boxes. Also had to go find my server to pay the check. As another yelper said- Food 5/5, Ambience 4/5 and Service 3/5. I would recommend to come at early dinner time - right around when they open so you can secure a spot. Or order a pickup if you are okay with it. They could really use some more servers for such a big sized place. The menu described the bao as kalua pork, BBQ sauce, tropical salsa, and pickled red onions. The buffalo chicken tots were described as buttermilk fried chicken, buffalo sauce, jack cheddar cheese, house made pickles, and ranch dressing. It took less than 10 minutes for my food to be ready and I sat down at one of the shaded picnic tables. When I opened everything up it all looked good, but I did notice that the tots were missing the house made pickles. I started with the bao and thought it was pretty good. The kalua pork was super juicy and the bao bun was light and fluffy while still holding together well. The pickled onions added a nice acidity and the tropical salsa brought good flavor. The only thing I did not notice much was the BBQ sauce. After that I dug into the tots. The tots themselves were cooked nicely with a crispy outside and soft inside. The chicken was good as well with a nice batter and the buffalo sauce added flavor while the cheese was gooey. The only thing worth noting is that the chicken was softer than expected and not very crispy. It worked since I did have the texture from the crispy tots, but it stood out. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I would probably not order both a bao and tots again as it was a lot of food, but I would definitely come back for one or the other.
