There was apparently no manager available to speak with about something as serious as an allergen mistake. Rosemarie, the employee who took the sandwich back, barely apologized made no eye contact and looked away and simply said "it's fine," with essentially no empathy or concern about the fact that I had already eaten a significant amount of an allergen. Food allergies are not a preference or a minor inconvenience. Serving someone an allergen can have serious health consequences, and I expected the situation to be treated with urgency, concern, and accountability. Mistakes can happen, but the dismissive response afterward made the experience significantly worse. This location seriously needs better allergy protocols and staff training on how to respond when an allergen mistake occurs.

Jamba Juice's menu offers health-focused fruit smoothies, juices & light bites. We ordered 5 drinks (Medium buzzin' mocha moo'd for $11.49, 2 Large electric berry lemonades for $21.18, Medium white gummi for $11.49 and Large strawberries wild for $11.99) and an açaí primo SMOOTHIE BOWL, replacing the blueberries with extra organic granola ($13.29) for a total amount of $69.44. We checked in at the front desk and were quickly seated even though it was busy (did opt to sit at the sushi bar though). Sitting at the bar, Charles was our sushi chef (since he was stationed in front of us) and he was exceptional! Very knowledgeable and friendly, he was able to prepare our orders right in front of us as we ordered sushi throughout the course of our meal! I started with the Grand Cordon which was a gin-based cocktail. It was refreshing and light but may have preferred to order a japanese whisky instead. We ordered a trio of nigiri: hamachi, kanpachi and Japanese snapper. They were all excellent and fresh, but enjoyed the snapper the most (wife liked the kanpachi most). Charles also provided us both Kizami wasabi and fresh grated wasabi. The Kizami is what we love with its chopped pickled wasabi but the fresh grated wasabi was another game-changer! Also ordered the salmon skin salad with bonito flakes and citrus to squeeze, new style sashimi scallops, yellowtail sashimi jalapeño, a Toro scallion roll, spider roll and a black cod miso (hot). The salad was excellent with the crispy salmon skin and savory bonito flakes. We both preferred the scallops over yellowtail and were surprised we enjoyed the new style flavors. Yellowtail was still excellent and maybe we were too yellowtail'ed out from the nigiri (probably not since it's one of my favorite fish). The toro scallion roll was buttery smooth and spider roll with large soft shell crab filling helped cap off our fresh fish tasting experience. The black cod was very tasty with a sweet miso glaze but wasn't as noteworthy as all the fresh fish items. We couldn't celebrate without some A5 and ordered 2 oz and got it Ishiyaki style (highly recommend!). Coming out on a hot stone, we cooked our A5 wagyu with a garlic and herb infused oil and then grilled the whole garlic cloves with the rest of the heat from the stone. Very enjoyable night out without the little ones! Service was excellent and the place was small but lived up to the high end luxury restaurant experience!
